I’ve been to Moghul many times for lunch but never for dinner. The menu is very robust and food is excellent. Highly recommended.

Absolutely delicious, authentic Indian cuisine in the heart of Edison, NJ. In a town and area where Indian cuisine is plentiful, Moghul never disappoints and stands out as the best overall.

Very good quality Indian food.extensive menu. Everything we ordered was tasty. Majority of people in the restaurant the evening we were there were Indians, for us it’s a good sign. Can’t go wrong.

Great restaurant. I ordered the lamb vindaloo and my date ordered chicken Tikka masala. The waiter warned me that the vindaloo was very spicy, which was welcome. Food was great, especially the garlic naan. Definitely would go back.

We were looking for great Indian food in the Edison area and received this recommendation from an Indian friend who lives in the area. Food did not disappoint! And it's also very pretty with great service and a wine list! Will definitely return.

It was for a special occasion and I and my family had a great time. They were courteous enough to provide options of Chinese too from the restaurant next door!! Simply wow!!

Great food, nice ambiance and extremely good service. We had a prior reservation booked via Opentable and got to our seat in less than 10 seconds. No discussions required. Cool!!

Please be sure to order traditional Indian deserts like Kulfi. Trust me, you'll love it.

Went there to celebrate a friend's birthday. Service was excellent and food was very good. The paratha was overheated and hard, but overall, the food was good. The service made mogul a really wonderful dining experience, thanks to James.

It's been a minute since I have eaten the Sunday Brunch at Moghul. There was a time when this was the place to be for the weekend buffet. We went in expecting the pinnacle of what Indian food was supposed to be and came out so under whelmed. I was so disappointed with the quality of their food. The Chinese items were OK but their main pillar, their bread and butter, the dish that they are know for - Dahl Makhani- was a HUGE disappointment. I didn't come out of the brunch feeling wowed at all. It was another typical place that served typical Indian food. The service, however, is still the same impeccable level of attention paid to the customer.

We had not visited Moghul in a long time as the quality of the food had gone down. After hearing raves from friends, we decided to give it another try. Very glad we did. Excellent meal that we all enjoyed.

This is my favorite Indian Restaurant. I have been going to this restaurant for over a decade. Mr. Poudyal (Manager) and his staff are very friendly and provide excellent service. The food is delicious and they can customize the flavor to your preference. I would highly recommend this restaurant for lunch or dinner.

Fantastic food! Great selections on buffet to choose from, many non-veg dishes and not expensive either. Nice ambiance, for date, friends or family meal. Big Parking lot is nice too...fresh lime soda was so good.

We have been coming here for 15+ years - that should say something. We drive 45 minutes each way for a total driving time of 1.5 hours !

Food was excellent as usual

However, the salted lassi was very sour and we informed the waiter - but the restaurant did not offer to replace it or refund - that's very unfortunate!

Absolutely loved the food at Moghul! The service was stellar, with our waiter offering suggestions that were spot-on. Highly recommend the pepper shrimp appetizer. Very cool cocktail menu, and decent beer and wine options. A little pricey for the amount of food (upcharge for rice?), but excellent food and service. We will be back!

As always, excellent food at the lunch buffet. Both vegetarian and non vegetarian options. Varying degree of spicyness. The food trays are refilled frequently. I suggest you arrive before 2 P.M. if you don't want to feel rushed. The buffet is dismantled a bit before 3 P.M.

This is our second trip to Moghul, for the lunch buffet, in about three weeks. The first time, most of our family conversations went like this, " Did you try this? It's delicious." On that day, unfortunately a parade coming down the street greatly reduced the number of patrons. The place was close to empty, but the buffet still offered an excellent selection of dishes that we very much enjoyed. We went again this past Sunday This time the restaurant was nearly full, he food was still great, the staff was exceedingly friendly, and made sure that we were enjoying everything, and to my surprise, fellow diners, lined up at the buffet also were quite friendly, and willing to explain any dish that was new to us. Overall, we had an excellent experience, and I would recommend Moghul to anyone interested in Indian food.
