Great meal. Friends in from out of town.
My tacos were were the worse ever and the presentation was unappetizing. The management should take them off the menu. Other meals I have had there, especially the chicken, were pretty good.
Also people should know that if you order a drink neat to sip, they charge you more. Does not say that on the menu.
Everything was great and our waiter Zach (upstairs) was top notch!
Service was great, Food and beer were excellent. Would definitely return
I’m obsessed with this place. Best pasta I have ever had and the service is always phenomenal!
I wish I could rate higher because the food was great. We were seated immediately with our reservations for a party of 7 plus 3 children. However, that is the only timely part of the evening. Solo server seemed to struggle filling basic things; drink refills, checking back to see if anything else needed, etc. The wait for the entrees was ridiculous. I was served my entree salad about 15 minutes after apps arrived, which was cool. However all other entrees came out about 30 minutes later so they got to watch me eat and I got to watch them eat. I get that it was a Saturday night and there may have been variables that came into play (extra visitors for Bengals/Steelers, etc) but that’s not our issue when celebrating someone’s birthday.
The atmosphere was was a little loud just because there were lots of (drunk) Steelers fans in town and kind of obnoxious, falling out of chairs, and loud. But otherwise the food was great, my gin martinis were AMAZING! and our waiter was very nice and attentive. We were celebrating my daughter's bday and both of my kids had a great time. Thank you!!
Don’t order the shrimp and grits. Over cooked shrimp and bland grits with dollops of hot sauce.
It was a great to be able to reserve a table for a large group and not be worried about finding a spot after a downtown event. We had to call 911 for a member of our group & the staff was very helpful.
Enjoyable experience; great setting & overview of downtown
We came here for a friends get together and loved every minute! Great service, great food, and great prices. Enjoyed it very much, will attend again!
Son was in town from England for 2 days
Server did a good job, food was delicious, nice view of the river and northern Kentucky, nice decor, minus a point for value in regards to desserts. I would certainly recommend and will dine there again, only go to Graeter’s afterwards.
Our beers were slow coming out of the bar and the kitchen ran out of flour tortillas for the brunch burritos that 2 in my party ordered. It was very busy before a Bengals game. I just felt those 2 things could’ve been improved. They caused a delay in our overall lunch, and we wound up being late to the game.
Went for a Bengals game and had Brunch and a couple
Drinks. They’ve redone the menu since I was there last. No more breakfast casserole or tacos but not to worry the replacement items available were delicious I went with the Santa Fe burrito and it was delicious. They have several other new items I’d like to try in the future as well. Our server was attentive and service relatively quick for as busy as they were. Two mixed drinks and meal item for about $25 was pretty reasonable.
Beer was good. Waitress was great. Food was nothing special. Had the short rib grilled cheese, very dry. The fish & chips portion was just big.
Great food, beer it was noisy but we were seated upstairs & that wasn’t as bad.
If you’re looking for a place to watch a game and drink. beer while yelling at your friends or the tv, this place is for you. It was very loud on a Saturday night. There is no noise cancelling/softening elements anywhere in the restaurant or bar areas, making it very hard to hear the people you are with. It took a long time for the food to come to our table, and when it did the food was cold.
Fun place for a group gathering, we had excellent service with a group of 15, even with a latecomer, food was all timed perfectly and got rave reviews.
Food was good. Filet done perfectly. Good location to bring out of town company. Service was very good. My only complaint was the noise. Made it difficult to talk. I will go back.
We had an excellent time. Great service and food! Beer selection and value- ambience- all were terrific. Would come back again and again.
Made reservations a week in advance. Did not get upstairs view. Bench seats so.worn down that 3 of us felt we were sitting in hole
Food was cold. Waiter was rarely around, gave checks to all the wrong quests.
It a great place, close to the river, meat was excellent, i got the filet, very well cooked
Evening was ruined because paying the bill took far longer than eating the meal. Wish they had a central cashier
Server was great he took care of our every need Food was good too
We sat outside and the view was very pretty. The dining ambiance inside was beautiful yet laid back. Would visit again.
We went here for our anniversary. I had the fish tacos which were just OK but my husband loved the pork belly with cabbage and brussel sprouts. In honor of our anniversary, we got complimentary dessert. The bread pudding is outstanding!
A day after the last baseball game saw reduced crowds and noise. The German sausage platter was quite good, as was my wife's smothered chicken. Some gluten-free appetizers and entrees, but not desserts. The service was good without being pesty. A solid 4 stars.
Very disappointed in food and service. Things seemed to have gone down in standards. Not nearly as nice as it used to be.
Food was good once we received what we had asked for at the time of ordering. Potatoes were cold and sandwich dry. Service was slow and very poor. Had to get a manager involved. Was disappointed since we were celebrating a birthday and anniversary. Beautiful place and view of the city but was very frustrated after hearing how good this place was from other friends
I ordered nachos without certain items, it came with everything on it. The service was slow and took close to an hour to get the food for my party. Even though it was right before a game downtown, others who came in after us were getting served faster than we were. This wasn’t my first time dining here, but i definitely won’t be back after this
Had a wonderful time celebrating a couple of Birthdays.
Our waitress was OUTSTANDING!!!!!!!!!
Wings were good and priced about right. Burger was solid as was the fish tacos. The salad was overpriced for what you get.
We were eating lunch before the Reds game. Six of us from Madison and two from Oxford. Plenty of food options for everyone. Had the pretzels with beer cheese and pulled pork poutine for appetizers—both were delicious. Our main entrees consisted of fish tacos, the German sausage platter and other sandwiches. I don’t believe anyone ordered the same thing. The guys loved their flights of beer. We’ll definitely be back. :-)
This is a wonderful spot for lunch, situated above street level with a view of the river. The room is high-ceilinged and expansive, a large, cheerful open space. Our waitress efficiently and promptly handled our group of nine. The beer sampler was fun, and the food good and of generous portions.
Food was good, server was great. Would absolutely go back.
Service was great. Waitress was wonderful. Speakers way to loud outside to talk to anyone. Had to scream to talk and the food was mediocre at best. It was all dry and over cooked. No flavor. Drinks were good.
Kyle our waiter was very knowledgeable. Ask for him you won't be dissatisfied. The 4 of us enjoyed our meals and had a great overall experience.
It was so easy to get to from the garage. The upstairs was nice and there was a great view of the Ohio river. Our waiter was nice, gave us recommendations and was attentive to the refills. The food was fabulous and the presentation was quite impressive. I picked this place with my cousin in mind whom I hadn’t seen in over 30 years and he would be the “tourist “. I was very happy that I picked right and let him see some of the best that Cincinnati offers. Thanks again!
Good food although somewhat limited choices of entrees. if you want conversation, this is not the place, way too loud!
