   Moerleine is always one of our fave places to frequent. The food is always a hit. Drinks are wonderful and service was great. They were a little busy for a Thursday night. We waited about 15 mins even with reservations (other people in line)- Not really to wait for seating, the hostess left the stand for about 10 mins to tend to something. Once we got to the upstairs patio hostess stand we were seated right away. The overall ambiance is always nice. Esp outside during the sun setting. Would recommend for a date night or special occasion.

   First time trying this place for my anniversary date. We got seated outside, and the sun was right on us so it was extremely hot. The music was too loud we couldn’t hear each other talk. & very overpriced for what it is. But it was good, definitely recommend coming on a cooler day or for sure get a seat inside! The drinks were really good & servers were really nice.

   Went for a Sunday brunch with family to celebrate a graduation. Ordered eggs scrambled well done but they weren't. Sausage and English muffin tasted funny. Pancakes were delicious and so were the home fries. Bacon so crispy it melted in your mouth. Large portions so overall was stuffed. Cane sugar straw was a little weird to me but, hey, Eco friendly.

   We had such a great time! We were 30 minutes late because our twins graduation ran over. The restaurant called to make sure we still wanted to come. When we got their we had excellent service and the food was delish. The server even brought out an ice cream for each of our grads to celebrate!

   We went here before a Reds game and the service was outstanding. Kept our drinks filled and was able to eat prior to the game. Waitress was very aware of people wanting to get out and make it to the game. I can't say enough good things about this place. 3rd or 4th time I have been there and always exceptional service and food.

   The applewood chicken salad was very good, despite the fact that I ordered it with dressing on the side and it came with dressing already on it. Fortunately, the amount of dressing was just the way I like it. Not too soggy and not too dry. This is part of the reason I rated the service as only fair. Our server did his job, but was not attentive or personable. He was just there to do his job. The restaurant was cash only the night we went. There was no advance warning of this. There was just a sign as we entered the restaurant. This put some constraints on what we ordered as we had no interest in going in search of an ATM.

    Only one server in the entire upstairs made for very slow drink service to start. After a long ceremony we were thirsty and no water was given unless asked for. We ordered the prickly pear margaritas which we have had before, but they were so super sweet. More like syrup than any tequila and for $10 a piece, I really would have expected better. Like I said we have had them before and enjoyed them. Bottom shelf long island were better than the top shelf, so the bar did not get it right except for the beer, which was good and cold. We did not get one of our appetizers, which was taken off the bill and the food was good. My complaint lies in the bar service and overall service as one person serving the entire top floor makes it difficult on not only him but those he is trying to serve. Overall not a deal breaker to return but drinks make up a large portion of the bill and I felt like I paid for something less than quality.

    Made a reservation about 2 weeks prior for 90 minutes prior to the Reds game for 10:00am Sunday, May 21 vs. Yankees. I reserved a hi-top in the beer garden area. The doors of the restaurant open at 10:00am -- but we waited 10 minutes to be seated and there were not tables available even though the restaurant was still mostly empty. We got seated outside in a corner, and so we rarely saw our server. We did not get our food until 11:00am. So, we had to eat it fast to make opening pitch. 5 sandwiches should not take an hour. And the food is average at best-- nothing spectacular for $160. Great location. Great facility. Crazy expensive "airport food".

    We could only get an 8:30 reservation after the Reds/Yankees game. We went to the front and checked in and to our surprise our table was ready! They were telling walk ins 2 hours. Great service and food.

    Waiters didn’t seem to know what she was doing? Slow service, food didn’t taste good! Had gush sandwich snd tasted like nothing? Beer can chicken tasted plain. Only 1 IPA to serve??? Got two of the same IPA and they looked very different??? Could not hear anyone talking as it was so loud in the restaurant?

    Great service for a busy day before the ballgame. My husband and I enjoyed sitting on the deck on this beautiful day. And of course the food is amazing. The Moerburger is delicious 😋

    Loved Moerlein Lager House! Had a beer flight and the short rib grilled cheese. Highly recommend! Hubby had the brat. He loved it! Will definitely come back when in town.

    We dined here on Mother's Day at 5:00. We had reservations. Although the place was relatively empty, they said that the table they had reserved for us was currently being used. They put us at another table and added a chair to the end. Two of us wanted to order a flight of beers. However, they were out of MANY of the beers. Another one of us ordered a diet Pepsi. The first diet pepsi came in a to-go cup because the other cups were being washed. (?) After the second cup, I had to request a refill. When the drink came, it was NOT diet. I was then informed that they were out of Diet Pepsi as well. Food was good. Onion rings were too bready. Overall ok experience, just frustrating that they were out of so many drinks.

    If I could have given no stars, I would have. We made reservations 10 days in advance and arrived 2 minutes before our reserved time. Table was not ready, it had to be cleaned off. I had to ask the hostess 3 times if it was ready before we were finally seated. Once we got to the upper level, there were plenty of empty tables, however we were relegated to the table next to the kitchen(5 stars for noise level, but not for it being energetic!). When we left, still a few empty tables. After we sat down, server said she'd be right back, which was an eternity. Knowing we'd have slow service, we decided to order our food with our drinks. We were halfway through our meal, before my sister received her meal. Server never returned to ask how our meals were after we had them. When she did finally come around after we had finished up, she asked if I'd like a box for mine. I said no, it was far from the description on the menu and was not good. She blamed to kitchen for that. She offered another meal, but by this time it was too late. Fortunately the meal was taken off our bill. They don't seem to maintain beer supplies very well. Every beer we tried to order, they were out of. Another party was sat next to us and they too disapproved of the of service(lack of service) and walked out. Needless to say, we'll not be returning.

    We went for Mother's Day brunch. Very attentive service, including the house manager who made sure we were being taken care of. Good food. Sat outside, which was a little warm without shade, but we were warned ahead of time. Nice view and just a pleasant day.

    Moerlien was able to accomodate our party of 8 on a busy Sunday morning. Our server was fantastic. Someone checked on us multiple times. The menu AND the food were great - plenty of options. Everything was so perfect. They did an excellent job. We would definitely go back.

    Ordered a medium well filet and the middle was not cooked was cold. The appetizer didn’t come out before dinner the waitress said she’d take off the bill and she didn’t. Service was poor this trip … will try again

    Had a fun time on the covered semi-outdoor area. We were a small group celebrating a Boomer birthday. Bone-In Pork and Fish & Chips were both delicious. Pretzel appetizer is yummy, but needs more alternatives to dip it in that aren't cheesy or spicy. Seats in our area were somewhat uncomfortable, at least for one ample butt. A fan or two might have helped air circulation. Servers were great. Beer flight (4 samples) was great. Can't see river on the first floor, at least where we were, because of the lovely trees in Smale park in between. Maybe the second floor allows a river view for some? Thanks!

    The menu has a great variety, rhe view is BEAUTIFUL, and Happy Hour pretty good, too. Little loud, but that was on me for not checking the Reds home schedule. Super fun place!

    The Philly cheesesteak had no flavor. The Moer burger came out and was hardly even room temperature. The garlic creole shrimp was good. Our waitress(Suzanne) was awkward and lacked personality. It seemed as if she was trying to get us in and out as quickly as she could despite it not being very busy at the time.

    Friendly staff. Great service. It was very easy to make reservations on line and also easy to change the reservation. My table reserved was ready at the appointed time. The atmosphere for the morning of the flying pig was light hearted and friendly. Looking forward to next visit.
