Typical mountain town service, had reservations for 6 showed up and had us down for a reservation of 5 and stuck us at a small table. Server was very awkward and made the dining experience a little uncomfortable. 4 of us ordered the chicken 2 ordered something else. First three dishes came out 1 chicken and other 2 dishes. The other 3 chickens came out 10-15 minutes after the first 3 dishes?? My portin of chicken was half the size of everyone else's. Chicken was good but should be served with everyone else's meal and have consistent portion size!!!

Our waiter was high as a kite but did a decent job. Food was overly complicated without adding interesting tastes. Shockingly, I didn’t even finish my scallops. Would not return.

Excellent food, even my foodie brother from NYC enjoyed the food. Friendly service. I didn’t love peppers in the mussels but otherwise the broth was good as well as the wine selection. We have been coming here for over 10years and will continue!

We appreciate the Asian fusion in the menu, but the ramen was extremely salty. It’s not only the soup, but also the ramen noodle too. My friend could not continue to eat and left more than half unfinished.
Other than that, very satisfied with the drink menu. And other three dishes , two fried chicken and one salmon (surprisingly light salted) could get a four star.

The food was amazing! We started off with the mussels and each ordered the Ramen because it sounded so good, and it delivered! The best ramen I’ve ever had.
I would definitely go back.
Our server was perfect, she had great timing -and was pleasant to talk to.

first time we've been in where we haven't had a great experience. the front desk person was rude and standoffish. they seemed quite inconvenienced that our full party wasn't there yet, even though they were just parking outside. the rest of the meal was great and the rest of our service experience was great. hopefully this doesn't become a recurrent 'inconvenience' when seating guests for the greeter and person seating reservations.

Great meal, Large cut of ribeye and great salads. Extensive drink list with a wine list that will fill your every desire. There is an upstairs that is quiet and offers a private dining experience. Downstairs can get a bit noisy due to the great bar scene.Food is great. Recommend highly!

Excellent! Everything was excellent, from the time we walked in the door for our reservation, we were seated promptly and the service was superb. We started with the mussels, great sauce with just a hint of spice in the jalapeños; very good flavor. My scallops were incredible with a sweet potato crust and lobster udon noodles in a lite cream sauce and plenty of lobster. This was our favorite dish, it was a bit rich, but worth every calorie! My husband enjoyed the duck served on white hominy grits with cherries and almonds to give it great texture and flavor. We selected a 2008 Twomey Merlot and, of course, it was fabulous. We had been here once before but only for cocktails which were excellent as well. They have a “playful” list and the mixologist aka bartender can make anything you want just tell them things you like and let them whip up a signature cocktail just for you!

I was VERY unimpressed with this place, especially for how expensive it is. First off, my friend got the pork chops and asked for them medium rare and they were basically burnt. My other friend and I got the ramen and it was cold. I suggest making a reservation elsewhere and don't waste your money here.

Also, we made a reservation and got seated 30 minutes after our reservation time. They need to get it together.

Service was very good. We were well looked after. Problem with two dishes quickly resolved which was much appreciated.
Food was very good but not outstanding. High marks for the Fried Chicken, Scallops.

We dined here for my birthday dinner. We were seated right away, which was great. We ordered some apps that took a while, requested bread that was automatically brought to surrounding tables. Christian was pleasant however when our main dish arrived, which took over 30 mins after apps were cleared, my boyfriend didn't have a fork. Waiting 5-10 minutes for someone to pass by while our food got cold, I decided to peek into the servers stations where no one was, and grabbed the fork myself. No one checked on us until after we had finished. My boyfriends lamb still had the cap of fat on it and it was very tough. Very disappointed in lack of service and overall quality of food.

First time at Modis in a while since new owner. Thought the atmosphere was fun and lively. Service is good. Food is plenty good and well above average for Breck. I’d say it’s a solid second tier below top 5 in Breck.

We have dined here in the past and it’s always been good . This visit was outstanding with our choice of the lamb chops served with Farro risotto, pine nuts and puréed turnips. My husband and I shared this and it’s very filling . I would go back and order this again. It is a big pricy but worth it .

Stopped in here during a trip to Breck over MLK weekend. Made a reservation the night before for 7:15pm; we were seated promptly but it was apparent that the restaurant was either short-staffed or under-prepared for the holiday traffic. Our dinner for 5 people was 2.5 hours...3 people had soup or salad to start and we intended to have 1 bottle of wine but ordered another just to pass the time. POSITIVES: the food was very tasty-- we loved the coconut curry soup. NEGATIVES: service was *s l o w*...we waited over an hour for just the entrees. The wine we ordered took at least 25 min to come to our table. Two of the entrees, ravioli, were served ice cold. FEEDBACK: the owner stopped by our table and apologized for the mishaps and comped one of the bottles of wine for our table which was much appreciated. The ravioli entrees were redone, served hot, and were delicious. Overall, the food was very good and for that reason we'd be willing to try it again. Hopefully they're better prepared for the crowds.

Food was good, though (understandably) like many similar menus in Colorado mountain towns, very red-meaty. My wife's fried tofu/cauliflower main was the tastiest ting we had, although the broiled hamachi neck start was also very good. Our server was very bad, though, not stopping for nearly 20 minutes after it was clear we were done with the entrees (not even to push drinks!) and we had to get the hostess off her iPhone to get some attention (the place was full but seemed to be well-staffed). Good vibe overall though.

Not all the meals were served together (10 minutes between the first and last) and both the steak and the duck were tough. The restaurant was very busy and noisy. There are better places to eat in Breckenridge.
Won't go back.

The food was delicious but I didn’t care for the hostess. My husband and I got there earlier than our reserved time but our friends were expected to arrive either on time or slightly late. She didn’t seem to want to seat us even though we asked to wait at our table so we can start ordering appetizers. Then when our friends arrived, on time, they couldn’t find my reservation. We had to go get them outside the restaurant. Not happy with that at all. The reason for 3 stars is that the food was delicious. That’s it. Will not go back again.

Absolutely loved Modis! The food was fabulous. We had the cheese plate to start. The waitress said it was generously sized and she wasn't kidding! Would have been plenty for up to 6 people. There was just the 2 of us so they kindly boxed the extra and we had it for a snack after skiing the next day. My fiance had the coconut curry soup. It was absolutely delicious. We were scraping up every last drop. I had the roasted cauliflower meal. Beautiful and delicious. My fiance had the crispy buttermilk fried chicken. He said it was the most tender fried chicken he has ever had. The look of the restaurant is very interesting. Our waitress was fun and a bit offbeat. Overall just a spectacular meal. My only comment would be that it is very noisy.
