It’s been awhile since we’ve dined at the Moderne Barn. I forgot how beautiful the restaurant is. The food tonight was excellent. My husband and I shared the rock shrimp and grilled octopus to start, both so delicious. I had the wasabi crusted tuna, cooked perfectly rare. My husband had the pork chop. It was so tender, probably the best pork chop I’ve ever tried. Our server was knowledgeable and courteous, recommending a perfect wine by the glass for both our entrees. It was such a nice evening, long overdue. They’re doing a nice job with tables socially distant, we felt very comfortable. We look forward to returning soon to this neighborhood gem.

My waiter was rude. Service was poor and the tuna was cold.
The pizza tasted frozen.
Spending 250 dollars for 2 people during these hard financial time without good food was so bad and expensive

We went to Moderne Barn for brunch and were both very disappointed with the quality of our food. I had the omelette which tasted like pure grease and oil and frankly upset my stomach. The potatoes that came on the side were undercooked. The food was gross. Neither me nor my boyfriend finished our food and left as soon as possible. The ambiance is very nice and the servers were nice as well. Would not go back

We were out to celebrate being vaccinated and getting back to normal. The food was excellent. Shared friend calamari and grilled octopus. Both done to perfection. Three diners had salads with grilled shrimp. Three had thee burgers. I had the grilled chicken sandwiche which was excellent.

Drinks are good pours, appetizers ar delicious, and the entres keep us coming back.

The dining room was beautiful. The chandeliers are exquisite. We really enjoyed our meal. The food and service was amazing. Our server, Cesar was knowledgeable and very helpful to us when trying to decide which items to choose from the vast menu. There were so many great choices. They are also doing a great job with making us feel safe. All employees wore masks and the table spacing was perfect. We will definitely be back.

As always simply excellent all around. Sat at the bar for a change and really enjoyed it. Vincenzo the bartender was great.

Place was nice. Nice ambience. Good food. Could be better service and what's the point to making a reservation if we are going to wait 20mins for a table.. other than that, not too bad.

The menu is very limited. If you eat there once, you are done. Not a place to repeat.

Beautiful restaurant! We dined at the bar and had some yummy drinks. The bartender was great and the recommendations were on point.. stout short ribs and ravioli- delish. Definitely save room for dessert !!

So nice to be out again. Moderne Barn excelled in all aspects. Food, service and setting was outstanding.

food wasn’t as expected, And definitely overpriced, I like this place, I’ve tried it three times already, I came for Valentine’s Day and they only had a prefix menu which it was disappointing, $170.00 for food for two. Big no no, plus tax, plus gratuity, plus drinks. Definitely not okay.
I think this came from management and they should be more flexible in this type of celebrations. If the food was good I would not complain at all, but unfortunately food seems And felt like it was already prepare and they were just taking it out At the time of ordering.
Only a few entrees on the prefix menu was smart for the restaurant to make money, but very disappointed for us the customers, modern barn took the easy way i guess, my wife did not enjoy her night. No good food, overpriced,

Awful experience. The hostess was unwelcoming and seated us in an awkward table. Took an extraordinary amount of time to at least offer water all while the restaurant was nearly empty. Overall, I was extremely disappointed and uncomfortable and would never suggest this restaurant.

Really good outdoor area during COVID. It's in a tent with heaters and fans, and all tables are several feet away from each other. Service was solid even though it's out of the restaurant and up some stairs. Toward the end of the dinner when we wanted our check it took them a while to come, but really appreciate that they are there in the middle of a pandemic letting us have a night out. Will likely be going back again.

Always a great experience. My wife and I really enjoy the food, ambiance and service. It’s our fourth time at Moderne Barn during a pandemic. Each time we have visited we feel safe and comfortable as the staff completely exercises many COVID-19 safety protocols to keep patrons and staff safe. Tables are spaced far enough and it helps they have high ceilings with good air ventilation.

Nice quiet valentine's dinner perfect time at 6pm very little people until about 7pm when its started getting more crowded. overall good food hanger steak was very soft with good flavor. Wife had the Short Rib which was also very soft and flavorful. Moderne Barn Sundae was an excellent choice to finish dinner

I’ve been to Moderne Barn twice, both times were weekend afternoons and both times were great! The food is really good and the atmosphere makes it a fun time. Servers are super friendly and attentive.

Food was ok - beautiful place but a bit disappointed with the brunch - limited selection and just ok.

Food was excellent, although I think a touch high priced considering the quality and quantity of food. Service was also great, and properly attentive

We ate in the tent, which was very cold. Heaters should have been higher and the back door should have been closed to require people to go in and out through the restaurant and not allow colder air in and whatever heat was being generated out.

The one thing about Modern Barn ways was the noise level. It’s a festive place which is lots of fun. Now because of COVID and space between tables it’s a quieter place, which is also great for family dining. It’s a different and great experience. Please support them and go. They are vigilant about safety.
As always the food was consistent and very good. Additionally, my kids are picky eaters and the kitchen had no issues accommodating small tweaks to their dishes. Well done and good luck.

We celebrated my friend Vicki’s 50th birthday! We loved the warm ambiance and the service was A+++! The drinks were spectacular! We enjoyed Nonna’s meatballs. I loved my chicken Caesar salad! Vicki loved her Arugula salad. The decadent birthday dessert was so delightful and a wonderful surprise! A huge thank you to Bill Livanos who made sure it was so fabulous!

The food is always amazing! The atmosphere was pleasant and staff were very pleasant and attentive. Highly recommend!

Our server seemed to forget a lot of things we had asked for. The food was okay, wouldn’t say it was great. The ravioli truffle pasta was a small portion and pasta seemed to have been hard. The bill can’t be compared to how much food was received or presented. Not in a good way.

Overall nice ambiance and food. Service was a little slow.
