   The tuna entree was de,I ious but for the nearly inedible peas served with it. My husband had to use his teeth to separate the thick pod ends in order to access the tiny peas. My pasta dish appeared to have had precooked pasta under the delicious sauce.

   We have not been here in a few years and we’re looking for some place to spend our anniversary. When we made the reservation it asked if you were celebrating something. We’ve seen this in the past and it amounted to nothing . But , here we were so pleasantly surprised that not only did they acknowledge it right away , they have us 2 glasses of champagne and a wonderful chocolate happy anniversary sign and candle on our dessert! It really made the evening special . On top of that, the food was terrific and the service was outstanding! Our waiter Edwin , could not have been nicer and more attentive! We won’t be waiting a few years to return ! Very very enjoyable meal and experience

   We enjoyed the food we had the Berkshire pork chop and the halibut. We also had a spicy shrimp appetizer and the Buratta toast with fig jam, and arugula. Everything was delicious. We had the best server we’ve ever had anywhere who goes by the name of Pita. Pita was professional, friendly, and most importantly accurate When it came to our order.

   I ordered the Diver Scallops which were very good and prepared with a nice grilling. However, the white asparagus and other sides had too strong a taste.

   I celebrated my friend Rita’s birthday at Moderne Barn. We shared a Margherita pizza together which we loved! The Tuna Tartar was so delicious-thank you! I loved the delicious soup. My friend loved her healthy salad. The waiter came out with some birthday’s sorbet with a chocolate happy Birthday sign. The atmosphere is warm & relaxed. The staff is amazing! The architecture design of the restaurant is so spectacular.

   First visit on Easter Sunday, 5:00pm. Was pleasantly surprised: Loved the equestrian themed decor. Capacity is larger than it appears: seating is also on an upper level via sizable staircase (something to know if mobility is an issue). Generally good experience — food, beverage, ambiance. They only missed the mark on service. Server took an extraordinarily long time before taking our drink order, and then drinks took quite a while to arrive. Appetizer and entrees followed more on schedule. We were nearly finished with our meal when server finally came back to ask if everything was okay with our meal. Perhaps they weren’t staffed up for the holiday? Not sure. All went well except for service. We liked restaurant enough to give it another go…..

   We enjoyed sea scallops, duck breast, glazed pork chop and creme brulee w/meringue topping. Pork chop and accompanying sauce was one of the best I have ever had. Service was excellent. Wine selection was very good, albeit pricey. Ambience and decor are very comfortable. I've been here many times. Standards are consistently top notch. My only recommendation is that management improve the espresso, which was just OK (too weak), certainly not excellent. Overall a great pleasure to dine at Moderne Barn.

   First time back for lunch after several years and it’s better than ever. Prompt attention and no rushing us. We both had salad + protein. Friend had Bibb salad + salmon which was moist and delicious. I had mesclun salad + hangar steak which was perfectly rare. Ideal spot for lunch. All items we saw looked wonderful.

    My husband and I had a wonderful time at Moderne Barn. The ambiance, staff and food were wonderful! We enjoyed the Restaurant Week menu and were not disappointed! The choices were lovely, the food was delicious and the drink and wine service was lovely as well. We look forward to coming back!
