Food and service was really good as always !
It was my first time there & it definitely won’t be my last!! Everything was spot on, from the quick seating to the impeccable service and lastly the food and drinks was to die for!!!
Well laid out restaurant with quality décor. Food was above reproach as was the service. Truly a neighborhood gem.
From service to the food was not good! If you're starving I wouldn't go there.
The food was very good, as always. And they upgraded their appearance; in addition to the recent renovations, they now use tablecloths.
It was OK. The restaurant is beautiful and the staff was helpful. The problem is that the sushi is not good enough for their prices. The sushi was on par with most of the 1/2 sushi restaurants and not one of the top sushi restaurants on the island.
The food is great. They serve very fresh seafood. Kudos to the sushi chef. The staff was very friendly. As a matter of fact my server Andy was A1 with a touch of class. I appreciate and will remember whom to request the next go round. We arrived a little early from our scheduled Valentine's Day reservation, we were promptly seated. The place hadn't yet filled up so there was plenty of options as far as seating. We were given a table in the front of the restaurant. At the suggestion of my wife, I asked the hostess if it were possible to take a booth. We were denied. Politely but nonetheless. Not even 3 minutes later another couple whom had just arrived and we're seated at a table asked to be seated in a booth. They were given the courtesy without hesitation. I would say that would be my only complaint. To anyone reading this review don't make my last statement dissuade you from enjoying this establishment. It's great. However know this. Anytime you ask a restaurant to accommodate a simple request, remember that they are not required to say yes. But if it is important them to benefit and collect some of your time and energy, i.e. money. Any reasonable request should be given with praise and humility.
Greeted well at the door, food fresh, delicious, appealing presentation.
Looked for a last minute dinner the morning of new years eve and MoCA had room for us. Did not know what to expect and turned out to be one of our best dinners. Ever! The menu is interesting and varied. Presentation was creative. Service was pleasant and helpful. Food was outstanding!! Everything was fresh, seasoned perfectly and a sensory experience. We will be back. Often.
Great panasian spot. Good drinks, great rolls and duck. lots of great small plates /appetizers and in the best Spot for restaurants in Forest Hills.
Been here many times, highly recommended.
Very friendly and accommodating staff. Highly recommend (and the drinks are great!).
Moca is a beautiful restaurant with wonderful food. I have not had anything that I haven't enjoyed and everyone I've taken here loves it.
The only negative is the noise level but I go early so I don't have to deal with that
Given there aren't many good Asian restaurants in the area. Moca is good, now if you compared it to of the good Asian places in Manhattan it would be just ok/good. Their food is consistent, the ambiance is nice. My dish there is the Pan Seared Tuna
Greeting from hostess was not good. Mentioned that reservation was made through open table and was greeted with cold silence as if she was annoyed. Other than that meal was great service was attentive. Atmosphere is great...the wife and I frequent the establishment.
SLIGHTLY OFF THE BEATEN TRACK, THIS RESTAURANT IS WORTH THE TRIP. PRICED WELL AND SUPERBLY PREPARED, SUSHI,SASHIMI AND THE BENTO BOX WE ATE WERE A FOODIE DELIGHT.
