Love this restaurant. They redesigned - Have many more booths that are very private. Food is so delicious. Either eating sushi or cooked everything was yummy.

Overall the experience was very good the only thing I find unappealing is that I left a exceptionally good tip and she didn’t even think Gus that bothers me we go to restaurants a lot and I consider myself to be a very very good tipper and that’s out of turn me off a little

Fantastic meal! Amazing ambience, love the private booths for a party of 5. Relaxing music great cocktails. All the food - appetizers and entrees - were delicious, piping hot with amazing presentation. Tried a little of everything - sushi, soup, gyoza and entrees with shrimp, sea bass and more. Not cheap but worth it. We'll return.

For being located in a shopping mall area, this place transforms you into nyc downtown area once you enter the restaurant. Huge ceilings, beautiful decorations, and very nice host greeting you as you enter. Food was great, didn’t have to wait long at all for the food to come out. Just wish we had a better waitress. I wanted to order more drinks but unfortunately she only came to our table once and that was to drop of our sushi. So we only got to order one drink wish kinda killed the mood a little bit.

Where in the past I have given 5 stars - today not so much. The tuna tataki usually fantastic - today looked and tasted (no flavor) like leftovers. It was drenched in ponzu sauce to cover it up, The lobster tacos previously the best - today tasteless, like it just came out of the refrigerator. We will go back again and see if this time it was a fluke and definitely tell our server to mention the short comings.

The food was very good but the portions were small. Although MoCA is very pretty, the noise level is awful. The waiters were dragging chairs on the floor from one space to another adding to the general din. I enjoy sushi and eat it frequently. However, I will not return to MoCA because of the price of their sushi. The price is way too high and the portions way too small.

The experience at MoCA was decent, but is not the same it once was. Service was not very attentive, with emptied water glasses going unfilled for the remainder of our dining, and wait staff generally taking a while to return to the table despite a number of staff working at off-peak. The food was ok, but one of the appetizers was bland, and while the sushi was presented well, some of the sashimi pieces easily fell apart when picked up gently. Unless one's goal is to take a date to a place with a nice ambiance and impress them with the capability to overspend on a meal just because, I would choose a different restaurant. If your core focus is sushi, there are better places around at a more reasonable price.

A step above everyday sushi restaurants. Yes the have the regular sushi (that is very good) like all other sushi places, but they also have outstanding creative dishes. Be adventurous - you won't be disappointed.

Our first time there so menu was a little overwhelming. Beautiful surroundings. Food good to very good & waitress was lovely, although not always around. My Bangkok basil dish had 8 large shrimp! Liked it enough to come back.

Food was excellent and the decor and ambiance were perfect. Service was the problem. We sat for 45 minutes before our drinks arrived. They were out of Sapporo on tap and ran out of a few liquors for their martinis. When they finally got a new tap of beer, they served it warm- twice. Did not offer to substitute and it was on the check even though we told them it was warm. Other than that, the food is excellent.

The food is always delicious however my friends and I have noticed that over the last 12 months, prices have gone way up and most portions have gone way down. It’s reached a point where we all feel that we are paying dinner prices for appetizers. Something is wrong. We all feel that the size of a dinner portion is now at the rip-off stage. We might not be back for awhile. Hope management realizes what they are doing.

Went to MoCA for a birthday celebration on a Wednesday evening. Everything was wonderful. The food was outstanding as was the service. At the end of dinner, wait staff brought out candles so we can sing happy birthday! Definitely will go back.
