A perfect evening. Attention to details, excellent food, always enjoyable!
Everything was great. Nice place! Short ribs and Haddock dinners were the best!
Blue cheese stuffed dates, lobster cones to start. Beet salad with goat cheese for me. We had small plates of Rigatoni with bolognese and homemade ravioli. Topped off with a trio of sorbet. Everything was perfect, always is. Our favorite local eatery. ❤️
MK Kitchen is the best farm-to-table restaurant in the greater Portland area! It’s our #1 go to!!!
Our server Patty was fantastic and made our whole dining experience beyond our expectations. We will be back!
As always, wonderful meal, drinks, and service!
MK Kitchen is one of our favorites. Excellent service; We always go with the lobster cones-such a treat. Sorry scallops are not on the menu anymore , but the panko coated haddock was good. Love the lemon risotto. Husband loved the gazpacho offering and was happy with the beef short rib.
Excellent service and food! Enjoyable evening, including the special dessert! Thanks to the MK team!
We had a wonderful time! The food, service, and ambiance exceeded our expectations. We will definitely visit again!
This pace is wonderful! Ambience, food portions are great! Service was outstanding! Good size wine pour! Overall Great Dining Experience! Will definitely revisit!
The good: Fast, attentive service, romantic ambience, nice menu options. Patty was our server and she was a delight - so funny!
The bad: When we were seated; I quickly discovered that my silverware and appetizer plate had old crusty food stuck to it. I ordered the filet mignon - medium. It arrived well done. My husband’s scallops were also over cooked. Overall, we enjoyed our visit to MK Kitchen and we will most likely visit them again.
MK Kitchen is excellent with food that equals any of the Portland restaurants. The haddock was outstanding. Now back at full capacity, it is loud. Service is always good.
Food was excellent, service was great and the venue was welcoming. Can’t wait to go back.
Stellar food and service. Reasonable priced. Already planning our next visit
Hands down one of the best dinning experiences I have had in a while. The wait staff had impeccable timing, while the food left nothing to be desired. Such a treat of a place! Thank you!
Haddock was delicious
Always a fantastic meal at MK Kitchen. Our favorite server is Patty. She’s fun and so knowledgeable about the menu. Going twice this week!
Consistently fantastic food! Great service. Drinks were very good. Busy and fun vibe.
Great place for special occasions. The quality of the food and serving size is better than the high end restaurants in Portland. At the high end places in Portland, one would pay double for similar food and service.
We celebrate every single special occasion at MKs - they NEVER disappoint! The grilled salads (MK Wedge and Ceasar) are so very special and tasty! My husband loves the lobster cones appetizer too. Service and atmosphere is top rated!
First visit.. felt like I was in the old port... great food, fantastic waitress and 30 minutes from home..awesome.
The food was fantastic. We had duck confit (special) and salmon. Both were perfect. Bartender is adorable and pours an excellent drink. Flourless chocolate cake was worth the splurge. One of my favorite restaurants in the Portland, Me. area.
We had lobster cones, haddock, short rib, ravioli, max and cheese gnocchi and sorbet. All fab, but short rib wasn’t impressive. Service and atmosphere were great. The pasta dishes were 10a!
Good food, casual dining, reasonable prices.
This was our second visit to MK kitchen. The panko crusted haddock was cooked just right. It was not too dry. The gnocchi primavera was very good as well. The vegetables with the dinners (carrots, broccoli, green bean medley) were not over cooked. Our waitress continuously filled the water glasses and was very attentive. We dined on a Friday night and the restaurant was busy. The wood floors and tin ceiling made the noise level very high. The noise level would not be good for a romantic evening, but the food and service was outstanding.
I always recommend MK as a good place for fine dining in a casual atmosphere. The service is always great from the time you walk in and the owner greets you to when the server brings the check after the last spoonful of creme brûlée.
Had a great dinner, excellent service with friendly staff. Will certainly frequent the MK again.
Such a wonderful place. They take extra steps that you wouldn’t expect, like writing a personalized birthday card. Just a great time.
We enjoyed a very nice dinner the food was delicious service great however the noise level is very loud.
very good italian dishes. the rigeitoni is great.
Food was amazing! My husband is very picky and almost a personal food critic, and he agreed that everything was perfect from the appetizer to desert. Will definitely be returning soon just for an adult outing.
Easily our favorite restaurant for both celebrations and taking friends out to dinner. The menu offers enough variety so that your filet mignon father in law and pesto gnocchi aunt can agree on this destination.
Desserts are lovely. Cocktails and wine list equally well thought out. There are always a couple of really nice specials, and the wait staff is super.
What more could you want, aside from a place to make reservations like civilized diners? Oh, yeah... they have that, too.
My boyfriend and I started dating in September and haven’t had many opportunities to go out, so this felt really special for us. Things almost felt normal for an hour or so. The service is always great and I’ve never had a bad meal at MK.
One of our favorite places! The food is amazing and staff are great. Can’t wait to go back.
Always a special time...time to dine enjoying a bottle of wine and good food.
The food was excellent our only issue was how loud it was.
Good food, great service, and a real gem right here in Gorham, Maine.
I brought my friend who was visiting, and she was very pleased with the food. I know we will be back, and she will bring her husband the next time they visit. I have been here many times, I have always been happy with my meals.
First class food and service.
Always a wonderful experience! Our favorite place to eat.
