Mizumi - Wynn Las Vegas Ratings and Reviews
Since I tasted Misumi for the first time, it has become my benchmark for sushi. Their sushi and sashimi platter is a wonder for the eyes - and for the mouth as well. Food is simply delicious, the restaurant is elegant and the service is classy. I travel to Vegas very often for work, Misumi is one of the reasons I'm happy for that.
If I was staying at the hotel again I would recommend it, but overall experience did not match up to the price and the reviews. The service we received at other restaurants was impeccable and for such high prices for sushi I would expect the same service. Also, sushi chefs were not that friendly and nothing really stood out, however the atmosphere was beautiful and the hostesses were great. I enjoyed the Robata.
We asked for a table right at the window in front of the waterfall... still, they tried to seat us one row behind when I reminded them I made reservations early and wanted to be by the glass. They accommodated us after I requested again. If you are a couple, ask for table 22 (24, 26 are on the window too) - That is where we sat - right in front of the waterfall. Our waitress was very enthusiastic and very knowledgeable about the menu, which is extensive. Definitely get the shrimp and scallop sushi as an appetizer. Out of this world.
We met our whole family in Las Vegas for Christmas. My bride and I were there a day or so early and dined at Mizumi. It was so good that when the rest of the family arrived on Saturday -- we we dined at Mizumi gain. Yes, two nights in a row for us.
Cutting to the chase: it was excellent in every way. There were six of us and we ordered something from every part of the large menu. The sushi and sashimi were pronounced outstanding as well as the shrimp and veggie Tempura. A surprise was the foie gras; I didn't expect such an wonderful dish in what is essentially a Japanese restaurant. It was fantastic (but you know by now that I'm a sucker for foie gras!) Our server, Tom, was great.
The restaurant is beautiful with a huge waterfall; just lovely.
Dinner for six was expensive but worth it!
One of the most beautiful dining rooms anywhere. Add the well-prepared Japanese cuisine and the engaged service team and you have a winning combination. Don’t expect any bargains — especially on the wine/sake list — but enjoy the elegance and forget about the check.
I loved the restaurant and the ambiance however the sushi was almost the worst i have ever been served, dry and definitely not fresh. I did notify the waiter and the sushi was removed from my bill. This was my wife’s birthday so a very disappointing dinner. Service was very good.
Thank you for such a wonderful dining experience. My family and I cannot afford fine dining very often and this was money well spent. The decor and ambiance was superior. The staff was very friendly and warm. The food was amazing!!!! The plating and presentation was incredible. I will definitely come back!!
This place was absolutely amazing! My wife and I really enjoyed this place. We had the Kobe beef sliced with the hot stone. It just melted in your mouth! The sushi and sashimi were extremely fresh! This place is at the Wynn as well. What more would you want. The wine list was great and the recommendations were on point for our entire meal.
This is a “must” for anyone that loves Japanese food! There are meals and then there are what I refer to as “food experiences” and, this was an experience I will remember forever!! The sashimi had the consistency of butter, oysters were delicious and the Kobe beef was amazing however, for me, the black cod was out of this world!! Oh, and my cucumber martini, wow! Honestly, I’m over 50 years old and I’ve eaten in many good restaurants but this is one of less than five that I will always remember.
The service was also impeccable!!
Yes, it’s quite expensive but, absolutely worth it. Do not pass up an opportunity to dine here!!!
As always a mainstay for us when we visit Vegas which we do at least a couple times of years. Always initially graciously greeted. When changing our reservations, care was taken so that all our needs were met. The service is outstanding and discreet. The knowledge that each server and sommelier offered was appreciated and our Sashimi well portioned, well presented and extremely fresh. I like that it is more upscale, relatively quiet with nice soothing music and far away from a casino. I like that the staff, unlike Nobu, don't belong in a Budweiser commercial but are complimentary to the setting.
Beautiful restaurant. Service was all over the place. They didn’t clear dishes when they brought the next course. We were just a party for two. We order salads (horrible), sashimi (yummy), 4 order of the Snow Wagyu and the Kobe Wagyu (fun to try), foie gras (not the best) and two great desserts. I think for the amount we paid, the setting, and obviously enough staff - the service should of been up to par and there was no excuse for bad salads.
Noise, bar selection and bland cocktails prevented this one from coming to the front of the line. They made an extra effort for us as it was a special occasion and our server was outstanding. We wanted to stay longer but had to move on to another bar. The food was great; get the lobster soup!!
