Highest quality available. Wonderful setting
Pretty pricy for an evening out, but completely worth it! The decor is beautiful--in a Japanese garden--and the dining area opens right out onto a huge waterfall. The food is absolutely delicious--we got the scallops in a variety of configurations, as rolls or as a sashimi appetizer they were all delicious. The sushi was very beautifully presented, with a little pink radish flower tucked in among the ginger and wasabi. Dessert was a real standout, we got the kabuki mask, which managed the twin feats of being both Instagrammable and delicious!
The setting for this restaurant is gorgeous. Waterfall and koi pond provide a beautiful backdrop. Creates a little extra noise, but it’s worth it. Unfortunately, NOTHING else about this place matches up to the fabulous scenery. This only makes the disappointment more jarring.
First, we were told that we could sit by the waterfall if we agreed to a minimum of $125/person. No problem, we planned to spend that anyway. So we are seated and enjoying the view when the hostess comes back out to say that she is sorry, but that table has actually been reserved by another party. At which point we are perp- walked off the very public patio to another table. Not her fault, but also not a great start to the evening. (Also, note to manager - maybe don’t make the hostess be the one to deliver that news.)
Our server acted like she could not care less whether we enjoyed ourselves. The one saving grace in terms of service was the sommelier, who was gracious, funny and personable throughout. The wine was a bright spot in an otherwise totally forgettable culinary experience. I gave three stars for service strictly because of this person, as well as the hostess, who did a really nice job delivering crappy news. Without them it would have been zero.
The food here is extremely average. Below average is probably more fair. We have had (much) better Japanese food in a strip mall. Bottom line - if you want Japanese in Vegas, save your money and don’t come here.
(Unless you only want wine. In that case, Mizumi is a real winner.)
Stacey was our server, and she created so much excitement over the food. Her recommendations did not disappoint! Yum!
Very nice space try to get the pagoda next to the waterfall
Awesome scene. The menu is really super good and the service was great the food is awesome and the desert was very good overall worth a visit and I love the variety
Wow! Surf and turf roll was killer. Absolutely great flavors. I felt very safe during this indoor dining experience and loved the face mask place mat. Can’t wait to dine again next time I’m in Vegas.
Amazing service, thankful for the lovely dinner
We flew to Las Vegas from San Diego just for the night for my wife’s birthday with the primary purpose to have dinner at Mizumi.
The restaurant and ambience is fantastic. The staff were impeccable.
We had a bottle of delicious Russian river Pinot.
Appetizers were brussel sprouts, truffle mushrooms and wagyu takaki. The brussel sprouts and mushrooms were not good. No flavor. The wagyu was amazing but the serving size was incredibly small, 6 postage stamp sized pieces of meat.
We had the Mizumi roll, a scallop roll and salmon nigiri. All three amazing.
We ordered three deserts. A pineapple trio which honestly tasted like it came from a deli. The macaroon with sorbet and fruit. The fruit was the only good part. Lastly we ordered the rice pudding. Not very tasty either. I ate some m&ms back at the room for desert. Dinner for 2 was $400.
To sum it up I would recommend this restaurant to a friend with the caveat that it is beautiful with tremendous staff. Stay with the wagyu, nigeri, sushi and go somewhere else for desert. My wife and I agreed that it was far from being the top restaurant we’ve ever eaten at unfortunately. I really do wish I could say otherwise.
Great Japan Sea Urchin
We celebrated our anniversary on
Amazing! One of the absolute best restaurants we have been to!
Loved this place! We sat outside and it was so nice! The sashimi plate was delicious! Will definitely go back.
One of the best restaurants in Las Vegas. I recommend sitting next to the water.
It was little too pricy for us but the food quality was super!
Loved every minute!
My group had a fantastic time. Everything was on point from the tasting menu, the sushi, and the service. We even enjoyed a brief analysis of region and rice polishing based on the sake bottles we tried. Mizumi is on my short list of best restaurants ever and I hope the current slow season passes quickly for them as it is a real treat to eat here.
cañidad y el servicios
Sat for 10 minutes before greeted. Sushi was puréed fish, not chunks and didn’t taste fresh. We received our first course which was good, although tough to mess up Brussel sprouts and edamame, and 3 out of the 5 rolls we ordered and than waited for ~30 minutes for our other two rolls to be brought out. Wait staff made it seem like a chore to check up on our table. Not what was to be expected for the price.
Great food, great service and ambiance.
Great service and great food! Thank you!!!
We enjoy Mizumi every time we go to Vegas. It has everything you would want in dining, atmosphere, service, and whatever else there is to acknowledge!
We truly enjoyed our dining experience here! All our food choices were delicious. We had the jalapeño tataki, short ribs and a variety of rolls. Can’t wait to come back! The setting and ambiance was very nice. Our server was very helpful and great order recommendations which we took and were happy with.
The view is DYNAMIC. Looking out the paneled glass wall makes you think your nestled in the forests of Japan. The food doesn't fall behind, featuring fresh ingredients with the source cited on menu. It can be a bit pricey but you pay for that kind of quality.
Excellent food and service. Recommend the Robatayaki - good way to try different things. The tuna sushi was so tender - YUM!
Every time we go to Vegas Mizumi is a must. Not only is it beautiful and romantic the food and service are amazing. Thank you for not allowing children under the age of 5. That would kill the ambiance. 5 star experience every time.
Food excellent. Would recommend highly
Anthony was brilliant , knowledgeable.professional and funny. GREAT JOB TONY. the food is spectacular and we had the best seat in the house for my wife lisas birthday
Everything was amazing
The Wine connoisseur was rude and told us what we asked for didn’t exist. He could have just said “sorry we don’t have that”. But preferred to insult us.
The sea bass skewers were the best !!!
Beautiful place, great atmosphere, amazing food !
Absolutely fantastic. Great service. Food was superb, we will definitely be back.
The experience from the moment we sat down to the very last bite was perfect. The wait staff was so attentive and paid such close attention to our needs without hovering. I’d recommend Mizumi to anyone who wants an evening to remember.
Great food and atmosphere
The ordered specialty rolls, sushi, pork belly, and robatayaki platter were all excellent. Even the desserts were creative and yummy, yummy. The dishes were pricey but they were worth it! What a dining experience it was.
This was our last dinner before heading back eastward. Mizumi is an amazing hidden gem in the Wynn.
