Mizumi - Wynn Las Vegas
What a lovely experience. The food was perfect, the service was perfect and the setting was beautiful. I will absolutely be coming back here the next time I’m in town.
Amazing food and sushi
Took my wife to Mizumi for Birthday and Valentines and it was the best $200.00 I have spent in my life. My wife and I loved the food and the water fall was amazing to sit and watch as we drank and ate. Our waiter was like a Hawk every time we needed something or had a question he was right there. Our food was delicious and came out quick with our drinks. The waiters recommendations were right on. Couldn’t have asked for a better night. I just want to say Thank You Mizumi.
The food was incredible, and the service was extraordinary.
This was my second time to Mizumi in the past six months, and it was every bit as good as my first experience. This is one of my top 3 restaurants anywhere.
Everything was great, except they ran out of oysters
Expensive? Yes. Worth it? Yes. Great atmosphere and service. Ask for table at the windows.
The staff were great to me, especially given it was my bday! Fantastic experience!
Perfect evening at a perfect restaurant. From the first moment you enter you know it will be a special dinner.
Visiting Las Vegas
We asked for a view and were given a choice of table buy the windows or booth. We chose table- but it was far in a corner and I had to turn around to view it. Instead a recommendation would have been helpful.
Jessica’s service was awful.
Her Nametag was upside down upon arrival to our table and it set the tone for the rest of her service.
Her demeanor overall was too casual for a fine dining experience (cute as opposed to professional). She took way too long getting back to us after we said we needed just a moment longer to look at the menu (almost 15minutes) and between each course.
She was going to put our appetizer order in before we ordered our bottle of wine and I had to call her back over and ask her not to.
Took over 30minutes to get miso soup. Then, the waitstaff didn’t know what to do when I asked about it.
I was served an iced tea instead of green tea ice cream.
She didn’t drop the check so we had to ask for it.
We were there 2.75 hours for a meal with appetizers and dessert. So turnover was slow, unprofitable for any restaurant business. 45minutes longer than we expected.
Because I had to have so much communication with staff, it made me look like a “diva” though luckily I have never had this happen during dozens of fine dining experiences with my friend.
Also, some young women arrived next to us and one was wearing a short sleeve belly shirt and tennis shoes so the dress code wasn’t enforced and was uncomfortable experience.
I will not recommend this restaurant even though the food was delicious.
Had an incredible time! Yes the food was delicious, and the sake and wine pairings were incredible, the service was truly wonderful!! Attentive, kind, knowledgable, professional and friendly the staff made this experience one not to forget. Aaron, the sake sommelier in particular is a perfect example :) Thank you for a wonderful night.
This restuarant is beautiful!! Service was impeccable. Food was presented very beautifully. Love this restuarant 😋❤️
The food and the service were flawless!
Simply unparalleled ... AMAZING!
Fantastic sushi with great service and ambiance! The whole experience was great.
Visiting from out of town, we wanted to treat ourselves to a more fancy sushi, and Mizumi did not disappoint. The atmosphere is so nice to begin with, and it really allowed for us to indulge in a special night. My boyfriend and I shared the omakase and added in 2 of the shared plates and we were stunned. Everything in the omakase was delicious, every single course. Our friends ordered 2 signature rolls and the short rib plate and were also equally impressed. While it is a little more of an expensive indulgence, I would absolutely visit again as everything from the food and the service were amazing.
Festejo de cumpleaños !
Outstanding service and wonderful food. A truly gorgeous venue.
Amazing experience. Great service and the food was spectacular.
Our host Yuko was so attentive and friendly... giving us suggestions during our meal and telling us about our food and drink. We also appreciated her care in making sure my wife’s food did not come in contact with egg... she has a significant egg allergy and this put her mind at ease and allowed her to enjoy her night! The sushi was absolutely amazing and the fish was high quality! We will definitely be back next time we come back to Vegas!
Beautiful location. Great service and Japanese style food. Sake sommelier very knowledgeable. A bit expensive, even at Vegas’s standards. We had a beautiful dinner for my wife’s birthday.
Excellent service, expensive & below average food & food appearance. Food is everything so I would never recommend.
Amazing food, you won’t be disappointed!
First just want to say - I have mixed feelings about my experience here. Positive - food, wait staff, and ambiance were amazing. Negative - host/GM was rude, condescending, and overall unpleasant.
AMBIENCE. We requested to sit out on the patio by the waterfall, and that really made the experience incredible. Tbh I don’t think the indoors is nice at all.
FOOD. Fish was outstanding, would definitely recommend ordering sashimi over rolls as you can taste the quality of the fish when it’s not muddled by other flavors. The Mizumi mask dessert is fun to break as well.
SERVICE. Sommelier was wonderful, knowledgeable and helpful. Wait staff was attentive, came outside to check up on us just often enough, and were super patient with taking photos of us. HOWEVER our one negative experience was the gentleman who seated us. Wasn’t sure if he was a host or GM, but continuously throughout the night he made rude comments, made stupid excuses to not seat us at an outdoor table (like saying that someone booked the entire outdoor patio, then after he somehow became convinced that we could pay the minimum, said that all of a sudden the other res was moved back an hour. We were outside for 3 hours total btw - not a single other party joined us). Quite honestly he made the experience awkward and unpleasant for us. Thank god for the wonderful wait staff that we didn’t have to see him after the first 30 minutes.
Overall, definitely request an outdoor table - makes the experience worth it. Expect outstanding service sans the host/GM. Don’t be shy to take photos either!
This place was not significantly different from a normal sushi restaurant. We got the Omakase menu and it was average at best. Nothing bad, but nothing beyond the ordinary. All of this would be fine except it is marketed and priced as fine dining, which it is not. It is very expensive for what it is.
I took my boyfriend here for his birthday and everything was amazing! The service and food was impeccable and the decor is so unique! They even valued my special request to sit at a table near the window so we had a beautiful view of the waterfall.
It’s a bit loud to have good private conversation, but the seat next to waterfall view was great. Good food but pricey!
Todo delicioso, el servicio muy atento. Muuy recomendado
Our meal was fantastic!! Danny was our server and he Exceeded our expectations!
Excelente comida, muy bien preparados y presentados los alimentos, ambiente inmejorable. Las entradas de col de Bruselas altamente recomendable
Went there with my boyfriend. The sushi roll there are amazing delicious!! We both love Japanese, and have tried a lot good Japanese restaurant. But the sushi roll here still surprised us.
The rest are also nice to try.
BTW, Very nice view besides the window.
A must try! The Sushi is amazing very fresh and creative rolls. The Kobe beef was good It was little over priced for a couple of ounces but worth trying. The signature hand crafted cocktails really was unique and
definitely left a flavor of Japan that you wont find anywhere else.
We would go back!
Such a beautiful restaurant with great food. We’ve been before and returned for the king crab roll. The chef is also extremely accommodating in how they prepared my food due to my seaweed allergy. Much appreciated!!
Very good restaurant. All the dishes were very good. The freshness and quality of the fish, superb. The Robatayaki was very tasty, the noodles were perfectly done. I would say that the specialty rolls were the only no outstanding dish. The sake selection is very broad. For non-connoisseurs I think it would be good to have a more detailed explanation of the different types. No the less, we had a great meal and was worth the cost
Surrounding environment was very nice. Food was okay-nothing special, and the plates were very small. Service from Tina was excellent, but we had friends who drove 3 hours to come eat with us, so we talked for a while-I guess too long because we were asked to leave by another staff member. If I’m paying over $400 for 4 people to eat small meals that were not great tasting, I don’t expect to be rushed out the environment. Anyway, we left and had to go to another restaurant to get more food AND dessert because the plates at Mizumi were that small. Overall it was made okay experience, but I wouldn’t go back.
Hidden gem!! Totally impressed and will be back. Great food and service and ombience was to match.
I can’t fault this place. That’s all I need to say. My husband and I just loved it 😀
