Private party facilities
The handsome teppan room magnificently transcends the typical teppanyaki experience with floor-to-ceiling windows framing postcard views of cascading waterfalls and sparkling lagoons. Eight spacious cooking stations are available, accommodating a total of 64 guests. Mizumi's exclusive semi-private dining room offers a more intimate setting in which to savor chef Hashimoto's extraordinary cuisine. The crimson decor theme is enhanced by a fanciful display of hand painted and gilted Japanese fans. A maximum of 14 guests may be accommodated at one rectangular table. Mizumi's signature floating pagoda offers a truly unique al fresco dining experience at the foot of a coursing waterfall.

Unfortunately the dress code here is not well defined on Open Table. Shorts and Tom's are not allowed but hoodies and jeans are. I was dressed after golfing in a polo and was only allowed to be seated at the Sushi bar. If I had jeans and an affliction hoodie, I could've sat at a real table and had a business meeting. My guests and I were very annoyed and I can't say i'd recommend this place as a value or return trip. Servers were excellent and I was offered long black pants - no thank you.

Being three dollar signs on Yelp, I thought to try it since it's right next to Le Reve (which we were going to watch).

Maybe we ordered all the mediocre dishes, but our sprouts were nothing to scream home about. The chicken teriyaki was the worst. It was dryer than the Mohave desert. My local neighborhood could do it better.

The face chocolate dessert cake was awesome. Loved every bite.

The room is lovely and the setting is gorgeous. Our server and sommelier were good. We just ordered sushi and were disappointed with the flavour of the fish. It just wasn’t great it was very ok. We did tell our server and they were gracious and told the chefs our opinion.

The best sushi in Las Vegas! The service was off the charts. We went for our Anniversary and we were so happy we chose to celebrate at Mizumi.

Mizumi was a unique dining experience that i will never forget. They treated me and my wife like royalty and I appreciate it very much. The staff was extremely friendly and went above and beyond with their service. One of the waiters even took a photo for me and my wife by the beautiful waterfall and koi fish pond. I would recommend Mizumi to anyone looking to impress their date or to celebrate. The food was absolutely amazing and we received a delicious green tea macaroon for our anniversary. A truly one of a kind place to eat.

disappointed. very nice feeling restaurant with view of an outdoor pond and waterfall. service was good once they swapped out our first waiter. bottom line is that the food here is very expensive and it’s really just a dumbed down sushi joint that caters to people who have no idea what the sushi experience is all about. 30% of our sushi was great... the other was way below standard and even the wasabi was poor. if you are coming for sushi... pick another place.

My wife and I went there for our anniversary and found the service and food were both amazing. Our waitress Yuko was probably one of the best waitresses we've ever had serve us. The rest of the staff was amazing as well. The view of the water falls was simply beautiful. The food was extremely fresh and the presentation was beautiful. I did feel the it was a little pricey, but considering we were in Vegas, the view and the service, it was somewhat understandable.
I will definitely go there again next time i'm in Vegas.

Service, food, and ambience was amazing! We were celebrating my husband’s birthday. They gave him a birthday card and a green tea macaroon which was so nice. We got the cucumber and seaweed salad as well as the Brussels sprouts. I could eat the Brussels sprouts everyday for the rest of my life they were amazing We did the sushi plate for two and it was far more food than we could finish. We will definitely recommend Mizumi to friends and we will be back again.

The restaurant was fantastic. The food was very good but they made me put pants over my dress shorts while others were in ripped jeans and T Shirts. Made no sense. Also prices where very high but I guess that was what they were going for. For me about 15% to high.

Great meal, terrific service, wonderful setting. We enjoyed those aspects immensely.
The only problem was the unavoidable non-stop loud talker at the adjacent table who,
unfortunately for us, is apparently good friends with a Mizumi server/wine steward who
only encouraged an hour long diatribe of Vegas real estate bravado and other irritatingly useless information.

Perhaps a bit more decorum from the service staff would be appropriate, although the maitre d did come over as I was signing my bill to let me know the neighbor wanted to treat us to our dinner. We declined, signed our bill and left.

A very interesting setting with good ambiance and good food. Everything started well and we enjoyed the experience especially since it was my birthday, but you could see that the service was getting sloppy and rushed as the night was progressing. Dessert was amazing. Would recommend the experience due to the setting and the waterfall. Food was good, but not outstanding.

The design is spectacular and the aesthetic appeal is unlike any place I have ever been. The contemporary American music (which I thought was a bit loud) downplays the authenticity that the decor and food create. I would suggest a more zen atmosphere. As for the food, I found everything to be delicious. The sashimi is of special note as its tenderness is quite impressive. The presentation of the dishes is elegant. All the seafood carries a powerful aura of freshness. Mizumi masters simplicity better than any other restaurant. Even the components of the dishes are scrumptious by themselves. Sometimes I found it better to enjoy the components one at a time rather than the entire dish as a whole. My experience at Mizumi is unforgettable. To summarize, Mizumi is a beautiful place where the food is presented without excessive flair and bursts with all the right flavors.

This was my 3rd trip to Mizumi, and it was extraordinary as always. Sitting indoors, beside the window, the greenery and waterfall lure you into thinking you’re thousands of miles away from a casino and the LV Strip. The service was exemplary. Our waitress made suggestions that made for a memorable dining experience. And the famous dessert, the Mask, was a wonderful surprise for my dining partner. Mizumi rivals the best Japanese/sushi restaurants I’ve ever visited.

The food was wonderful however the front desk manager was rude to us initially and would not seat us without a reservation yet there were over 8 to 10 empty tables that were never used. We had to go make a reservation online for a table a half hour later using OpenTable as my wife still wanted to dine there. The other 6 to 10 tables still remained unused. We were not happy with that. Our waiter was excellent and the sushi was worth waiting for through this bad experience initially upon arrival there.
