Service was absolutely amazing and it was very nice and quiet
Service was very attentive. Food was good but portions are small, typical of most Japanese restaurants. Ambiance was great.
Michele is outstanding, so personal and professional, we think she should receive a big pay raise.
My birthday dinner
We celebrate our daughters birthday. At that time the staffs prepared special birthday cakes for them. Thank you very much. The place is best traditional Japanese restaurant. We love to go there again.
Very good Japanae Restaurant in Honolulu.I realy want to go to Miyako again.
Solid place for authentic sushi. Very good price for the quality of food. Nothing too special however.
Very slow service and good dessert.
One of the best experiences we have had while dining. The staff was patient and explained about the "Hot pot" process and helped us in every way needed. They were attentive and pleasant. Great meal.
Were very flexible with reservation and staff was friendly. However service was a little slow and on the high end for price.
Food was fine. Nothing special.
I useally used special occasion this restaurant.
At this time little disappointed.
Meal missing something.
But I still favor this restaurant .
This is our go to place for Japanese food. Steak don is tops on my list.
Outstanding venue, service, and Japanese cuisine. Wait Help are very gracious and pleasant. Wonderful ambience especially for out-of-town clients. Parking is very convenient.
We reserved the "Cabana" which are private, individual spaces separated by canvas/thatched screens. It is a gorgeous, romantic view while dining overlooking the ocean at sunset. It is really incomparable. It was a bit of a rainy, windy day/evening, but the cabanas were sheltered and cozy.
The service was fast and efficient, but lacked warmth or sincerity.
Best kaiseki in Honolulu with friendly service and best view of Waikiki and Friday fireworks.
The food was delicious. The kaiseki menu was to include Uku (Hawaiian) fish name, however they were out and replaced it with salmon. We had been looking foward to Uku since it had been in the restaurants on line menu (all be it a small portion of the menu) so were a bit dissapointed.
The flavors created were delicious.
The room was neat in appearance, however the more time you spend the more things you notice.
The biggest surprise was the amount of guests. We entered at 6:50pm and left at 9:00pm. Throughout the entire evening there was but one other couple being served. Wow!! Super special service by waitress. We wanted for nothing the entire evening.
Not bad, but there are probably better options in this area.
Never fails to impress. The monthly Kaiseki (pre-fixe chef's tasting) is a bargain at $58, especially good with the sake pairing at $20. Great view of Waikiki and sunsets.
Outstanding food and service, but was disappointed in not being able to see the fireworks because people were lined up outside on the lana to see the fireworksi, blocking our view.
The essential sushi is not tasty.
It was expected too much because it was a dining in a hotel of Japanese descent.
Wonderful authentic kaiseki dinner. Went perfectly with cold sake. Service was great. Friday. Ugh this is a best for watching Hilton fireworks.
Good food & service! Beautiful sunset over the ocean!
It was my first travel to Hawaii for celebrating 20th wedding anniversary and my wife's birthday.
The food was really great with taste, decorating...
And manager served with detailed introduction of each menu.
I hope to visit Miyako again and would recommend to people who visit Honolulu.
As usual, Miyako did not disappoint. We choose the Kaiseki course (changes monthly) and made the reservation to time with the Fireworks at the Hilton on Friday Night. Perfect!
Food was delicious! Just enough to fill you, not over stuff!
Excellent view, service and food.
As wonderful as usual. Has never failed to satisfy me for he past 30 years plus. Am glad Pearl is still there, and the food and the extra special, Rocky and Kaimana to see.
Excellent food and excellent service. Beautiful sunset views over the ocean.
Nice atmosphere at beach front.
Sea lions on the beach.
Good foods in the calm place.
Might be 40 years ago that I dined here...awesome view, service fantastic, butterfish was awesome, sashimi fresh and tempura good...definite returning to eat here again.
enjoyable experience. Got a fantastic table location on the Lanai overlooking the ocean to watch the fireworks !
Great food and service. Only problem was they raised the blinds before sunset so there was glaring afternoon sun in our eyes. Beautiful ocean view.
We had a very nice dinner. The view is spectacular. Go early before sunset would be best. The Japanese fish and sushi dinners very good. The lobster and steak are not so good. Sashimi platter was excellent.
We took our mother for dinner on Mother's Day. We all had holiday menu A and agedashi tofu, Miso butterfish, sashimi, sushi, tempura, everything was so tasty. The ocean view was great too. If you don't want to fail to eat Japanese authentic food, this is the place for you!
We really enjoyed ourselves! The food was top notch and service was great. We've been here a number of times and have not been disappointed!
Been looking for a quality Japanese Resturant since Kyoya closed years ago. I've found it!
Miyako's has it all...ambiance, staff, authentic cusine, and overall experience.
We would have preferred more menu and some cheaper menu choices. Other than that it was an interesting experience.
