Food is delicious! Absolutely amazing.
We had terrible service!! Our waitress could not have cared less and it took 1/2 hour to get drinks! Food is just okay. Don’t bother with this place. There are way too many good places. There’s a reason you can get in here at the last minute.
When we get in was pack, we sat down , service was ok i had to ask when our food was coming, thats how long the food took to get to us. Few items where cold. We did enjoy our dinner when we got it.
Love this place! Always stop in darn m in town.
Food and drinks were great, the staff took a while to order and get our drinks but after that everything went well.
We went to Mixto expecting good fresh Latin inspired food. Instead the food was not fresh, a lot of the items were not good in taste, and clearly packaged frozen. The bartender would not properly accommodate a request to bring the level of artificial lime juice down and doused very good cachaca to a disgustingly sweet mess.
Good food and a nice place on a Busy Saturday night. Not a great space for parties over 5. Just a tight fit
My husband & I had an enjoyable dinner at Mixto before a Philadelphia Orchestra concert. The restaurant is a short walk from the Kimmel Center. The atmosphere is fun & casual- a cute neighborhood place. The food seemed authentic, as evidenced by the presence of other Spanish-speaking patrons. Cocktails good, but the bar a little slow. Service attentive otherwise. Will return!
The service was excellent! Food and margaritas were tasty, nice size portions and served while still warm! The NOISE level however put us on sensory overload! The bar in the muddle of the room was filled with very LOUD drinkers! Def NOT for a quiet meal!
The food, ambiance & service were excellent!! Authentic food and delicious cocktails were enjoyed by all of us. =)
I will never dine here again. This is too bad, because the food was okay, as was the service. But the noise level was more than energetic; it was ear splitting, making conversation impossible and rendering the meal totally unappetizing. Other tables were complaining too, but the management did nothing after several requests. This was for a reservation that began at 6 PM, so we were not there late in the evening. The staff allowed what seemed to be some rowdy bar patrons to disrupt the whole restaurant . It was a horrible experience, And we had to pay for it! Deplorable ambiance and bad management!
Foos came faster than at Mixto’s sister restaurant Tierra Colombiana. Nice ambiance, excellent food.
Went for Easter brunch; tostada rancherias and tortilla enchilada were amazing! Not to mention a great margarita!
The food is fine (expected), but the service is terrible. I asked for a cortado, I got a cubanito. I ask for tequila solo... I have to actually go to the bar and explain that I’d like a tequila neat. No ice, no lime- just tequila. They look at you as if were from another planet.
Good cocktails and appetizers at the bar while catching up with a friend. This is a nice place for casual dining.
I believe our servers name was Rich, he was the perfect amount of attentive, left us alone long enough to enjoy and converse but came to us just when we where ready to clear some stuff up. Great service, and very nice!
We always have a great experience. Love it!
Every time I come to Philly for work, a trip to Mixto is a must. Excellent food and drinks.
As always great, it’s better on weekdays. Weekends are loud
Vincente was amazing, food was incredible and drinks were delicious
Great Service and Food
Always a winner. Creative Mexican food
Great experience! Gracias Santiago!!
Birthday dinner with friends. Many coconut mojitos and delicious food made for a great eve.
Great food as always! Tables were too close to sit down comfortably but even more our waitress was terrible. Could hardly be bothered to take our order or bring us our check!
Great experience -- we apprecaited the time given during our meal (didn't feel rushed), although the service could have been slighty faster -- we will be coming back
We were looking for a moderately priced place with good food and good atmosphere for a dinner with friends. Mixto was an excellent choice. We were lucky enough to be seated on the first floor near the window, so we had a close-up view of the street scene. The food and atmosphere were great. Our waiter could have been slightly more attentive, but at least we didn't feel rushed. We would definitely return!
We went to an early dinner Mixto before going to a show at the Academy of Music, we were genuinely surprised at how crowed it was so early on a Saturday night. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The food was fabulous, we had Maduro Rellenoan as an appetizer that we shared which was a sweet plantain with Cuban beef covered in mozzarella cheese. It was so good! For entrees we had the Borrego, lamb chops and the Churrasco Argentino, skirt steak both were wonderful. We finished with Flan so yummy. We will definitely be back!
Really enjoyed Mixto. Warm yet casual atmosphere, accommodating staff. Although not a "foodie" I do appreciate a well prepared and presented dish. I shall return!
Nice place, good service. The margarita was excellent. The food was very good, but the portions are large, so don't order too much.
Excellent place, food was great, enjoyed the latin flavors.
Little bit slow in bringing the food, but overall good service!!!
I had great service! Food was AMAZING!! I’m DEFINITELY going back!!
Great food. They brought the check before asking if we wanted more drinks.
Food is amazing!!!!! The only downside is the service is slow, especially when busy! But the food is worth it.
Good overall. Had the Mixed Plate appetizer - only thing I didn't like was a spare rib that was too dry. Scallops were delicious, as was the Shrimp.
I waited 2 hours and 15 minutes for an omelet I could have made at home... not to mention I could have made it 10000x better.
Place was awesome!!!!! They accomedated my food allergies
We definitely had an awesome time we will be back
