   Been here many times and maybe they just had an off night. Had cold apps so hard to screw that up. My table had surf & turf, filet & sushi roll. All of them were bad. Steaks were terrible. I’d think twice about going back

   Wonderful service and everyone(including Mitch) was very personable which is something I feel is hit or miss since COVID and really sets apart a fine dining experience for me. We had the shishito peppers and crispy rice appetizer(unique and delish!). Everything on their menu sounded great but we ordered a few of their specialty sushi rolls and were not disappointed. The ambiance was unique for a sushi restaurant but the other traditional seafood entrees make it a good choice for dining with others that may not enjoy sushi.

   Mitch's has great service and good drinks. Seated quickly and food/drinks flowed rapidly. Sadly, the food was generally lacking in flavor and very pricey. Our Filet was very tender but had almost zero seasoning, as did the accompanying mashed potatoes. This was the least seasoned steaks I have ever had. Ahi salad had great presentation, but once again, the flavor was not there. Flourless desert cake was dry and disappointing and needed to be served ala-mode (one of those things just not worth the calories). We believe there are better alternatives in Palm Desert.

   My friend and I just celebrated our birthdays there. It was her first time and she loved it. Mitch’s never fails to deliver great food in a beautiful setting. The service is first rate and one of the owners always checks in with your table.

    6 of us ladies went for lunch and celebrated a friends birthday. They provided a complimentary piece of chocolate torte. A nice patio area and good service but once in awhile there was an odd smell. I'd like to eat inside next time or another area of the patio The decor is very nice out and in. Live music.

    We had an issue with our bill. Being honest we told them our bar bill had not been added to the bill. It took 30 minutes to get this resolved - and they were not too gracious about it - and we were doing the good deed. That being said - the food was delicious.

    Wow! This was mt first time at Mitch’s and it did not disappoint! The patio is beautiful, the service was incredible and the food was absolutely delicious! The owner Mitch came around to our table to see how everything turned out. He was warm and so friendly. Such a great experience and can’t wait to go back!

    Mitch’s is one of our favorite restaurants in Palm Desert. Great environment, and everything they serve is amazing. If you like sushi, this is definitely the place to go. It is a mandatory for us on every visit to the area.

    Every time we come to Palm Springs my husband and I plan to enjoy a meal at Mitch's. We always leave smiling as this restaurant is fabulous and always a lovely experience. The chef is incredibly able and we have enjoyed many of this person's capabilities. We are so grateful and look forward to many more times when we can go.

    We first found Mitch’s rated one of the top restaurants in the Palm Springs Life magazine in February 2023. It did not disappoint!! I got the 808 roll and was one of the best rolls i’ve ever had. My sister got the shrimp & scallops and she loved it. Amazing restaurant and would for sure recommend!!!

    The sushi and calamari were excellent. The Rib eye had way too much sauce, Sea Bass excellent and shrimp and scallops ok. The waitress Mallory was great and fun. We loved the outside booths and noise wa not a problem. Overall it was good not great.

    Great vibe, delicious food, excellent service! Loved the protein sushi roll with no rice! Then my husband had the jumbo shrimp and scallops and I had the cioppino , both excellent! Highly recommend!
