We sat at the bar overlooking the kitchen and thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience. The food and service were both excellent!

I have been to Mistral many times and would go back again. This said the valentine fixed price menu was good not great. My halibut and egg in a hole were delicious. The the burrata was ready but I did not enjoy the 'lardon' sauce and my dessert was uninspired.

My biggest reservation about the evening was the price - I found it off putting and having been to Mistrals many times it seemed that they simply raised their prices for the valentine special.

So yes I would go back but it will likely be less frequently given what would appear to be a marked increase in price. I have had so many good meals here I do not ding them too hard for what I perceived as some misses on valentines day.

PS_ I sat in the outside dining area. I prefer the main dining area.

Three appetizers and four main dish for four. Every dish shared. Too salty. Cannot remember whether there were even one tasty dish. Pork shoulder was the worst. Foie Gras aweful. Halibut was OK but too salty. 4 tiny Scallops for 20 dollar, Wagyu was not impressing.

It’s a unique place with an open kitchen and a terrific outside patio that is heated in the winter. The food isn’t cheap but it’s always enjoyable to try what they offer. Happy hour is also a great time. I recommend the Ramen.

I’ve been here twice. Once for dinner and this Last time for lunch. The food was amazing on both occasions, for sure one of my favorites in the area. Cocktails are really good. It is a little pricy, but worth every penny. The service is excellent, with energetic people really making an effort to serve you well. It was my birthday and our waiter brought an unexpected fine dessert as a courtesy. I totally recommend this place.

I have been to Mistral many times and am never disappointed, however I found this particular menu to be exceptional. There were some really savory options, including the biscuits and beignets. The halibut and Ice cream soup option sounded crazy, but did not disappoint. Our sever and bartenders provided exceptional service, making the experience even better. This is money well spent!

Loud! Could hardly hear my husband across the table talking to me. Was surprised parking was not provided or validated. I know it's Princeton, but problematic parking is a deterrent from coming back.

My Sunday afternoon post-concert dinner was great. The food, drink and service were up to the always high I standards that I've come to enjoy for the past 4 1/2 years, here.

Delicious! They have increased the size of their large plates (and their prices) so we over-ordered. Every single thing was delicious. They were late seating us (we enjoyed the bar), but they were slow to serve when we were seated. Waiter was only so-so. At a place like this the waiters really need to be comfortable and knowledgeable discussing the menu.
