The service could not have been any better. So attentive and answered questions and so accommodating. The food was great but more for adults. The kids didn’t like all the seasoning on the eggs and potatoes. We had the burger and steak and eggs and both were excellent.
Social distancing/drafts along with overhead heaters/a long fireplace… in the “outdoor” patio area made for a safe and comfortable dining experience. All servers wore masks and were extremely accommodating. Not to mention the food was excellent!
Prices are high for portion size it food was good and service was excellent

The food was delicious and the staff friendly and courteous. Unfortunately, the place was filled with a dense smoke from the kitchen leaving an unpleasant order. Fortunately the door opening and closing from patrons helped the smoke and odor disappear. Overall, we had a very enjoying lunch.
Both orders of French toast came with burnt pieces. We sent one order back and the gave us a new one. It was tasty! The service was really slow. The fried chicken was very good. The patio area no longer has an open door so it really isn't outside.
Perfect location for a special birthday dinner. Delicious food, particularly recommend the mackerel.

The initial reception at the front by the waitress though timely was curt. The hostess was not there. The person who waited at our table was great. The waiter was warm, welcoming, attentive and made the whole experience wonderful.

The food and service were great. Highly recommend the burrata and Szechuan wings. I had the pork schnitzel and my husband had the whole bass both were delicious. It was a little cold in the restaurant but the maitre’d closed the side door when I mentioned it. Recommend.

A very disappointing lunch at Mistral as none of the food we had liked for dinner are not available for lunch.
The croque Madame had to much to creamy sauce, a bland egg . At least the ham was good.
The salad with duck confit was also pretty tasteless.
At least the mussels in escabeche were very good!
Delicious brunch, good service. We will be back. The “outdoor” seating is more like an enclosed three-season room with overhead heat lamps and some windows cracked for ventilation.
Delicious oysters! Amazing ricotta gnocchi with mushrooms and squash. Full of flavor and perfectly prepared! Cocktails are creative and never disappoint!
Excellent food and ambience. Actually I will accept that the food was absolutely brilliant. The service was as one would expect. The only glitch to me personally was the door at the back being opened every 2 minutes and the cold air hitting the table as a unbearable cold draft cooling your food fast and giving you constant chills. They should take more care to let the customer have a comfortable dinner, especially during winter. I did not let them know as they were very busy on a Friday night.
Parking was a bit rough. The vibe of the place is awesome and the food is incredible. The cocktails are spot on as well!

Staff are the best
After reading the reviews I had very high expectations. The pork belly appetizer was good, but nothing to write home about. The steak entree was mediocre. The steak was prepared perfectly and was tasty after adding so salt, but the side was very, very bland. The gnocchi were good, but again nothing to write home about. The squash in the gnocchi dish was delish! I will not be running back here any time soon!
This was a return visit and once again, we were not disappointed. The Pork Belly and The Blueberry Pie were stand out dishes but everything was delicious and beautifully presented. The patio was comfortably warm and felt cozy. The service was very good, too. If there's one tiny negative....it was loud making conversation sometimes difficult.
4 scallops for 30$ and $30 for four pieces of small steak is insane when it wasn’t that good. Highly don’t recommend

The food was good, which is a big step back from what it used to be. Most of the dishes were one note, with the same wilted greens garnishing several of them. Seems like the new chef's goals involve less labor-intensive plating and more attention to the big plates than the small plates on which this restaurant made it's name when it opened.
Delicious and creative menu. Tried the burrata, good. Pork belly, outstanding! Fish spread, lovely but too mild. Crispy whole fish, outstanding! Service was super attentive and not invasive. Great restaurant!!
All was great but it’s like 100000000 degrees in outside area. Between the fire and overhead heaters I thought I was melting.
The food was fresh, prompt and the service was excellent
We had the mussels and the ceviche for appetizers. Mussels were out of the shell and mixed with salsa avocado and white beans. Served with pita chips which we heaped on the mixture and it was outstanding. The ceviche was equally delicious and we used the pita chips with this as well. Main dishes were the roasted chicken and the ricotta gnocchi. Chicken was tender and juicy and full of flavor. The gnocchi were incredible. Cooked to perfection, tender and delicious.
One complaint is that the wine list is weak. They were very accommodating and let us order off of elements wine list, which had more choices.

The tempura shishito peppers (snack) and tandoori makerel (main) were simply phenomenal! The creativity and flavors achieved at Mistral throughout the menu make each meal memorable.
We were at the Covid outdoor seating, otherwise ambiance would be a 5 star as well. The outdoor seating is a 5 for outdoor Covid seating.
