Very friendly service. Our server was also very efficient.
The Mission Inn is always an amazing dining experience we loved it and had a great time!
It is an amazing place to time travel and pretend that you are in Europe for a moment. It is worth the price tag just to sit in the courtyard and enjoy. The service was perfect at dinner and everything prepared well. The food is not why you go, but it was decent. I don’t think the steak is worth the money, but the other dishes were fine.
Drinks are strong and they were giving almost 2 for 1 on Cinco de Mayo, so that made everything seem more special. I would come
back to stay in the rooms and enjoy the breakfast there.
great enviorment for a nice upscale lunch good food good service
Daughters graduation from CBU lunch... Very enjoyable !
The Spanish Patio is always lovely and the service was, as usual, excellent. Two of us had salmon tacos rated excellent, 1 had chicken quesadilla which was good, and one had excellent fried chicken - also excellent. We were disappointed in the bread pudding, a standard excellent dessert, but not up to par, though the sauce was. Always a bit pricey, but the patio makes it worth while.
Beautiful setting they seated us 10 minutes early which was appreciated .Food was very good. We felt very comfortable. Thank-you Mission Inn!
We had a wonderful experience! A beautiful venue and it was wonderful to hear the bells. Food and service was amazing!!!
2pm High tea $32pp
I brought a friend to celebrate her birthday. I was embarrassed! The tea was not up to the standard of a true high tea & we were disappointed.
The tea was weak, poor selection of black teas. No small teaspoon to stir the tea.
The tiny sandwiches were like door stoppers! Thick slices, instead of super thin & the bread was already dried out.
I expected more from a fancy place & for the price. The staff were all friendly & helpful, just the tea itself wasn't good.
The scones & lemon butter were nice & the cakes were fine & pretty.
Birthday celebration was memorable with the white sangria. Enchiladas were good. The hotel itself is stunning! Historical artifacts were fun to find as we explored the gardens.
Food was not impressive. Of course the venue is stunning but we were unimpressed with inattentive service and food that was unseasoned.
The location of Mission Inn's patio for lunch is quite close to heaven. The ambiance, service, and exceptional food quality are indeed a treat. I'm delighted again.
Service was poor and not as expected for this establishment. Two of four lunches (beef dip) were not edible. Waiter did not have any information and after food order, he was nowhere to be found.
Lovely setting, excellent cuisine and moderately priced.
Great customer service, food was delicious. Would definitely recommend.
Staff was extremely nice in all areas. Used Valet- very quick and efficient. Hostess was sweet and seated us at a small table in the shade. Waiter was funny and gave great recommendations. Bussing service was quite and fast with picking up of dishes. All in all a great experience.
Food was very bland service was good but food was not great
We we were excited about the Mission Inn getting open. We stayed 4/24 to celebrate a birthday. We went to the Mission Inn Restaurant for breakfast. The service was not good. It took 15 minutes to get our coffee. Our food took along time to get and they forgot some food we ordered. We had to ask for our server who disappeared for quite a while to get more coffee. I don't know what their excuse was but they are not up to par like in the past.
The Spanish Courtyard is stunning , especially at night with the lights from the surrounding wings. The ambiance is very continental European. We bring any out of town guests to The Patio or Duane’s.
Our server was attentive and helpful.
Would have liked more seafood selections, another whitefish and or shellfish. The Roberts Reserve Pinot Noir is lovely.
It was a wonderful experience celebrating my husbands birthday with family and friends!
Nice saturday nite. Good wine, steak, fish. Courtyard was fantastic. Very Barcelona feel.
Table wasn't ready even though we were on time. Placed us inside instead of the outside patio, their printer went down and it took an hour to get our order. Was a bit of a mess, but the waitress was great, the food delicious (when it finally came). Very over-crowded, apparently the only game in town.
Service was wonderful, very attentive.
Food was delicious, came out fairly quickly and was hot.
Everything was perfect the huevos rancheros and the steak and eggs was super delicious definitely recommend! The ambiance and the service was awesome!!
Service was great, lovely location unfortunately my fish was very under cooked and I left most of it on the plate.
The overall feel of the Inn is very dark. It was a bit cool, so our guests opted to be seated inside. Outside would have been better light, so I would recommend that versus inside. Food and service are very good, except the portions are quite large. The salmon fish tacos are excellent.
I called to let them know it was my sisters birthday. Indicated on Open Table too. It was just ignored. The ambiance outside was lovely. Our server was very nice and lunch was good but expensive. Good spot for a special occasion but it would be nice if that occasion was recognized.
MISSION INN TAKES YOU AROUND THE WORLD IN DECOR - THE BEST STAFF AND THE MOST ELEGANCE YOU CAN ASK FOR.
Great parking was n it w well marked or understood. No metered and got a ticket.
Lunch menu had a wide selection, which was helpful and all four ladies enjoyed their food.
After we ordered, our waitress basically disappeared with no follow up at our table.
The turkey club sandwich was excellent but the fajitas plate was poor. The chicken was flavorless with very few peppers and onions. The tortillas were basically inedible, hard and dry. The beans and rice weren’t very good either.
The ambiance was nice, but overall disappointing compared with other times we’ve been here.
Service was excellent, ambiance is spot on, food was delicious. My only suggestion is regarding how the steak was cooked. My husband and I asked for medium rare filets and it was cooked more on the medium side. Our guests had salmon and a medium cooked filet which they said was delicious. One other suggestion, please sharpen or replace the steak knives. We had to saw our food instead of slice it; I think the butter knives would have been sharper commented our guest. Of course we will be back, it is an iconic experience eating on the patio at the Mission Inn!
Sunday brunch was amazing thank you
Was looking for Sunday brunch, but that doesn’t start until 11:00. Service was extremely slow. We did not receive refills on water or coffee. Food was just ok for price.
We brought our family here to celebrate a birthday. The food and service was outstanding! It's pricey, but we'll be back for sure!
Our server, Luke, was excellent. It was our first time eating out in over one year!
The day was gorgeous. The wine and food, impeccable despite my friend being an hour late. Oh well, she travels from Brentwood. I ordered the mussels with french fries and it was fantastic. Initially, I hesitated in ordering the mussels but I wanted something lighter and I am so glad I chose correctly. My friend had the french dip sandwich with a side salad and we ate everything (a few french fries came home with me - never leave them at the table). I also ordered 2 spicy sausage pasta dishes to go (my husband's fav) and had that for dinner. Always excellent service, food, ambiance. This visit there were a few unruly children running around screaming (playing) placing their hands in the fountains; I have no idea where their mother was but kids will be kids. I go to the Mission Inn for lunch as often as I am able and always have a wonderful time.
What a wonderful place to celebrate an occasion or just enjoy lunch with a friend! We love the ambiance, the food and the service!!
This was very disappointing. We ended up leaving after our appetizer because after an hour of waiting for our drinks and food we got no updates other than “it’s on its way” then finally we were told the wine had to be brought up from the back, which if we knew earlier we would have ordered another type... since it shouldn’t take 45 minutes to bring you wine. We were able to get our spinach artichoke dip, which is more like a cheese soup... with 2 spinach leaves... we searched for artichokes and couldn’t find any... the quality of food and the service wasn’t worth it, so we asked for our check after 1 hour, we had to ask 3 times.
Amazing! We loved the food and our server. It was very relaxing and beautiful.
