I’ve gone there many times for brunch and have always enjoyed the food and service. I wanted to try dinner, and unfortunately was extremely disappointed. The food was mediocre, and something you would expect from a low end restaurant. Meat was over cooked, the vegetables was soggy. The soup came luke warm and tasted like baby food. The service was horrible SLOW!!! It seemed like the kitchen was disorganized and we waited way too long between courses, not to mention the fact that they brought the wrong dishes to our table.
Highly disappointed. I’ll stick to the brunch and won’t be going back for dinner anytime soon.
This was another San Francisco disappointment. I had no problem with the Valentines's Day menu or price. The appetizer salad was good. The scallops on the second course were very small. I order the prime rib which was mostly fat and gristle. The cheesecake was very good. Unfortunately, they were understaffed. The waiter did not come by again after the appetizer was served except to give us the check. We had finished the bottle of champagne that we ordered before our dessert was served. We asked the person helping out the waiter if there was a dessert wine and he told us to ask our server. Then we sat there for about 15 minutes with empty plates and water just waiting for the check. The host had to tell our waiter to clear our table since there were people waiting. I live very close and we try new restaurants (other than the ones we frequent) and keep getting disappointed. I do not mind paying $300 for dinner if the food and service are good. They weren't.
Love it! Food was delicious! Crab Benedict 👌 bacon😋😋😋 service was great. The spaghetti surprisingly good!!
I'm not a guy who leaves bad reviews. But something seriously weird was going on in the kitchen that day. I went with a friend, they ordered dropped eggs I ordered the hash. The hash was more of a stew - it was incredibly over-salty and had some extremely off flavors in it. The dropped eggs was more of a tomato sauce soup. Nothing appeared as advertised. The lattes were incredibly over frothed - more like bad cappuccinos.
On the bright side, the server was very friendly. When he asked I mentioned that the hash wasn't what I expected, so he very kindly removed it from the bill. Regardless, I wouldn't go back for the food.
Great breakfast spot and menu is amazing. You absolutely must get a benedict. The “huge” mimosas are literally the best and really are huge. I think they use 1 bottle of champagne for 2 mimosas!
Just stumbled upon the place . . . very pleasantly surprised! The small plates were generous and delicious. Wonderful baked goods (baked on the premises) - and quiet enough to talk! Such a pleasure!!
The food was good. Eggs cooked to perfection. The "huge" mimosa was fantastic (I chose grapefruit and pomegranate). French toast was nice. Overall a nice brunch date- I wouldn't go out of my way for it again and the wait/line can be crazy so I wouldn't wait.

items on the menu and you'll be glad you did.
Just had their short rib pot pie, likely the closest to heaven I'll ever get!
Great food - truly terrible service; I don't mind slow at all, but this was slow and completely negligent. I actually observed another couple storm out because it had been so long since anyone had checked-in with them. The waiter apologized a lot (perhaps something was happening behind the scenes), but made no change in his service. I assumed we might get a free dessert or small comp on the check for what was clearly a situation that needed to be addressed. But no - just the waiter saying, "Oh you want to get out of here probably," when we waved him down for the check 30 minutes after asking about dessert (which we planned to order and he never came back to follow-up on). Yikes.

The place started to look tired, tables need to be refinished. Not very organized. Two of the dishes had identical sides, flavors could be made more distinct.
It has been years since I have been here. It has changed moderately but still very good, there were interesting and tasty things on the menu. I selected well, my husband was a bit disappointed in his choice, he discovered he did not like Jack Fruit as much as he thought. but it tasted good. I had a really interesting beer, Saison Dolores, much fruitier than any beer I ever had, not that big a beer drinker though. the service was really good, he seemed to be alone for quite a number of tables and managed well. I have moved this back to be remembered an go to place.
Fantastic breakfast/brunch. Coffee was incredible and paired well with he maple glazed bacon. A must when in San Francisco
It was terrible. I've eaten here for years but this time was the final time. Not only was the restaurant empty but there was one server named Rodney who didn't clean tables, kinda loosely asked if we needed anything, and then proceed to take his break and eat at the table across from us.
I used to love this spot, but it's becoming pretty run down and unfortunately that's reflected in both the food and the furniture. The wait staff was not very attentive or friendly, for some reason they are not willing to re-cover their chairs (they are completely torn up), and the food was mediocre: the lobster ravioli was under cooked and came out cold and the mushroom salad was totally uninspired, but I have no complaints about the flat bread. It feels like Mission Beach has gone through a bad breakup and lost the benefit of a woman's touch.
The seating is in terrible shape and really needs to be reupholstered, especially at this price point.
We visited on Saturday for a quiet dinner on our first date. We chose a quiet table in the back corner so we could talk, ordered the lobster ravioli and the halibut and shared both dinners. Excellent. The staff was very cordial and the service was great. Highly recommend.
The flatbread and rabbit pot pies are musts. Nice choice of wines my the glass carafe and bottle. Love coming here
