CTA 'L' Blue - Clark & Lake
Great breakfast! Had the Blues playing, and just had a great diner feeling.
Great place to meet for breakfast or lunch
Food was over priced. The burgers were too bland.
The service was quick and our food was delicious, I loved everything about our dining experience.
Love the breakfast menu. Staff was very good & accomidating. Avocado toast is just amazing.
Very hip spot for breakfast attached to Virgin Hotel
Absolutely loved the vibe and decor! Funky, colorful and comfy! Excellent service! Food was delicious... I had avo toast w egg and my husband had protein bowl w steak. Only complaint is that the espresso machine was not available.
We sat inside and they have tv monitors w retro movies playing.
Outside tables were available as well including a table w swings for seats! Will definitely return!
So much fun! Love this place. Outdoor dining has a table that has swings for seats. The food is delicious and drinks are great. Atmosphere is lively and outgoing.
Everyone in my group loved the food. I had the Dish Monte Cristo and wanted another one it was so good! The service was attentive yet not overwhelming our dining.
Miss Ricky’s was a fun brunch spot for a friends get together. We got to sit at the table with swings which was super fun! Good food, good service and awesome atmosphere!
Great Food. Great Service. Clean. Open Kitchen. Great experience.
The worst meal in Chicago
Great seating options, the swings are fun, cool environment on the inside.
I have been to Miss Ricky's several times but my last visit left a lot to be desired. Our server was extremely inattentive and we had to ask multiple times for coffee refills and more water. Additionally, we seemed to have a different person help us on the few occasions someone came by the table. We also had to ask for the check twice.
I will come back to Miss Ricky's because I haven't had a problem before this, but it was disappointing to bring someone who'd never been before and have this be the experience.
Elle was awesome! We we're a huge group and felt well taken care of - thank you for the great service! Milkshakes were top notch, will definitely be back to try each one.
loved everything about Miss Ricky's - yes, it is a bit pricey, but the food was great, fun atmosphere and perfect service....
If I could give it a zero I would, overpriced, raw chicken, crappy service. I hope the chef can step up his game!
It took more than 40 minutes for our breakfast to come out and half of it was cold. It wasn’t crowded and there was no need for such a rush. It was very expensive for poir quality and service.
Mother’s Day brunch was great and the chicken and waffle bowl to die for.
The wait for the food was unusually long. Our order came out and two of the three meals were missing key ingredients ex; waffles with fresh berries came without the berries and crab cake Benedict without the crab cakes. Our waitress was nowhere to be found so we didn’t even have a chance to ask for the missing items. She finally came to check on us but by that time we were finished. We told her about the mistakes and she comp’d the waffle and didn’t charge for the crab cakes (they were an additional charge) but we still would have liked our meals how we ordered them! Wouldn’t go back.
Amazing food! Avocado toast was sooo good and fresh. I couldn't get enough of the pancakes with fresh berries on top!
Food was pretty awful and the service completely inattentive--had to ask for things multiple times. I will not go back to this lousy place.
Surprisingly below average for the cool hotel it's connected to; seriously poor quality espresso, eggs in the Benedict bowl overdone with hard yolks, shredded English muffin pieces hard. Fun, funky vibe, nice staff.
I had no idea what a cute little place this would be. The lounge upstairs was full of old-school games like Rock em sock em robots and don't break the ice. I loved that they take reservations, which is so rare for brunch places in the loop. Delicious donut holes come to your table when you sit down.
The food was not very good, which is very annoying when paying $19 for chicken and waffles. Spent about $35 per person with no booze. Will not be going back.
Service was very slow and our waiter was less than enthusiastic and not very attentive. I would say the restaurant was moderately busy, but not slammed, and we waited about 45 minutes for our meals. Once it came, the food was good quality and portion sizes were generous. Glad we allowed plenty of time to eat before our Sunday matinee show.
The service was poor. Waiter not engaged. Had to ask for napkin and cutlery after food delivered. Husband's medium rare steak was charred on the outside and cold in the middle. Sent it back. I was asked by 2 staff members if they could take my plate away when I was pretty obviously still eating. Yay for impossible burger and yay for Halal guys for the make-up meal
Great service. We had the cheese curds which were solid. The fried chicken sandwich was small and uneventful. Same with the bloodys - uneventful. A decent restaurant, but way overhyped considering the value.
The place was cute, right downtown, and the food was great, but for brunch I found it a little pricey.
Great place. Service was fantastic, food was great. We had a round of bloodies that we’re awesome.
Great ambiance! Fantastic location. We will be back! ( especially when rooftop opens)
If you get the chance then head upstairs to the bar Common Club? Great atmosphere too!
Great breakfast with friendly staff. Nice to go somewhere where staff cares so much about their customers.
Overpriced and really loud. Took a long time to get our food.
Nice and upbeat atmosphere with awesome service. I ordered the chicken and waffles with a side of fried egg. The gee and waffle was fantastic! The chick had an odd batter and crustiness that wasn't my style, but when I peeled it off and requested some ranch dressing to dip it in, it all went down fine. :-)
Homestead with the colorful hair was very nice and friendly!
Loved the vibe of this place. Disappointed they were out of the first two items I ordered, but enjoyed the monte cristo. Definitely not a diet friendly spot, but a innovative menu that was delish.
Great food in a fun atmosphere
Service was abysmal and food was not worth the money at all. For the same price you could get a delicious brunch + drinks. A side of fruit is $9. The decor is nice, but doesn't fit the price range. We only saw our waiter twice and he was not attentive at all. Tip was automatically included for our party of 6, which was stated nowhere on the menu. If it were up to us, we would not have tipped at all. I decided to ignore the bad reviews I heard from friends and trust the good reviews here on Open Table, and I really regret it! I never write bad reviews, but this was one of the most disappointing restaurants I've been too yet.
Very fun unique restaurant. Very focused on breakfast. Save up your calories there is nothing light on the menu
The Monte Cristo deep dish breakfast item was a bit too cooked around the edges, but it had excellent presentation and the interior was delicious.
The salsa and tortilla chip breakfast item (can't remember the name) was good, but felt a bit over priced and lacked uniqueness.
Staff was excellent, service was great. Pricey, but expected for the area.
Good food, diner style! Coffee not so good, but the waffles were the best my daughter had!
Wonderful place for brunch. The chicken and waffles plate was very good. Fast, friendly service.
