Miro's Restaurant Ratings and Reviews
We’ve been before but not for a few years. Pleasantly surprised at the renovation of the restaurant. Beautiful inside and out. We were greeted and seated right away. The bread and hummus were delicious. The wine and beer selections made for perfect pairings with our food. Semir was our waiter for the evening. He knew the menu very well, was attentive and had a good personality along with his deep voice and pleasant accent. The staff were attentive and polite. The ambience served for a nice backdrop to our evening. And the menu had something for everyone’s taste buds. We tried the lamb meatballs for a starter and then moved onto Caesar salads which were tasty and the perfect size. Our two entrees, beef stroganoff and the shrimp & scallop Provençal were excellent in size and flavor. The pricing is consistent for these food selections and all items arrived hot to the table. The restaurant is clean and well adorned and the noise level is moderate to medium in volume. I would definitely return and recommend to others. Thanks, David (RM)
Overall experience was fine, not notable. Food was of a large portion and well cooked but not remarkable. Could not order the Croatian wine by the glass. Service was only notable because the waiter grunted as he leaned completely across the center of our table lengthwise to retrieve extra flatware rather than walking around where he would have an easy reach.
We were very impressed with this restaurant. The food was excellent, super delicious! The atmosphere and music was very pleasant. This has to be one of the best restaurants I've been to. Waiters were very friendly and provided excellent and quick service. Definetly will be coming back here again!
I love this restaurant. But this visit was less than perfect. My wife's sea bass--the most expensive on the menu--was off smelling and over cooked. She should have sent it back and didn't tell me until after we dined. I think that the fish sat around a bit too long. Not typical for this spot which has fabulous seafood. The kitchen needs to be careful to serve only the best and freshest ingredients to maintain their high ranking. I will return but will be vigilant about the freshness.
By the way, I had the cioppino with mussels, clams, shrimp and fish. It was fresh and delicious as expected.
Our second time as patrons in two months with friends. Miro’s is now on our must visit with friends/regular haunt. Meals are carefully prepared and presented. Their taste equals presentation and vice versa.
Wine list includes Emmolo, an excellent Merlot, priced nicely.
You’ll love it!
Miro's lives up to its reputation every time. Our server, Juergen was excellent. Great knowledge of the menu and how dishes were prepared as well as wine choices. We split the Burek appetizer, yum! It was perfect size to split. I had Beef Bourguignon and my husband had the Mediterranean Chicken. Both were very flavorful and delicious! We tried a bottle of Croatian wine, similar to Sauvignon Blanc. I would def recommend!
The owner, Miro and his wife (I'm assuming that) are active with guests and really care that everyone is happy.
We've been coming to palm springs for years but this was our first visit to Miro's. The service was impeccable and the restaurant itself is very pretty inside. The food was excellently prepared. I had two appetizers for my dinner - escargot and shrimp scampi. Both were so delicious. My husband had a special- beef bourguignon. He was very pleased and my little taste of it was thoroughly enjoyable. We also tried a Croatian wine that was quite good.
Had a spectacular romantic dinner on the patio on a Sunday evening. Mr. Miro, the owner, was gracious and provided personal attention. The food and service were perfect as was the ambiance. The service was strictly European professional in character, which we appreciate so much ... the perfect balance between personal and unintrusive. There was an excellent selection of wine by the glass and bottle, including some interesting Croatian selections, which we didn't try, but plan to try in the future. My spouse and I were pleased in every respect and will certainly dine at Miro's next time we are in Palm Springs!
The overall experience was excellent. I requested a table outside and said the meal was to celebrate a birthday.
Both requests were honored. We were seated outside ( heaters are located overhead and blankets are provided), from that moment the dining experience was wonderful.
The waiter and other staff were professional.
We had the mussels and clams appetizer to start. It was simply delicious. The wine and garlic sauce was so delicious we used the bread to soak it up. The main courses of Rack of Lamb and Chilean Sea Bass were delicious. For dessert we were treated to chocolate cake to celebrate the birthday. In summary this was a memorable dining experience and I highly recommend this restaurant.
An absolutely delightful meal. Our waiter was very helpful and just attentive enough. The food was well prepared, creative and very flavorful. My glass of wine was complimentary to my dinner too. We will return. Very interesting menu which will be interesting to explore.
A perfect evening: dining with friends on the covered, toasty warm patio at Miros. Our server was entertaining, knowledgeable, and attentive without becoming hovering. The food at Miros is always excellent and this visit to be exceptional. My go to dish is the whole branzino, a perfectly filleted, spiced, and lightly sauteed sea bass. Served with gnocci, fresh vegetables, and Miros signature cabbage salad, the branzino was excellent. Others at the table raved about the scallops, schnitzel, and salmon. The attention to detail at Miros is noticeable upon entering the restaurant; warm greetings, detail description of specials, and even warm plush throws when dining outside to ensure guests are warm and comfortable.
Our planned meal was disrupted when our friend became ill and we needed to leave. We explained to our waiter, Brian, the situation and asked for our meals to be put into takeout. They immediately put our order to the top of the list and packed it up for us beautifully. They were very kind and understanding and Brian was terrific. We also tried a Croatian wine on his recommendation and it was wonderful. We enjoyed our meals at home and they were all outstanding.
