Miro's Restaurant Ratings and Reviews
The overall experience was excellent. I requested a table outside and said the meal was to celebrate a birthday.
Both requests were honored. We were seated outside ( heaters are located overhead and blankets are provided), from that moment the dining experience was wonderful.
The waiter and other staff were professional.
We had the mussels and clams appetizer to start. It was simply delicious. The wine and garlic sauce was so delicious we used the bread to soak it up. The main courses of Rack of Lamb and Chilean Sea Bass were delicious. For dessert we were treated to chocolate cake to celebrate the birthday. In summary this was a memorable dining experience and I highly recommend this restaurant.
Our planned meal was disrupted when our friend became ill and we needed to leave. We explained to our waiter, Brian, the situation and asked for our meals to be put into takeout. They immediately put our order to the top of the list and packed it up for us beautifully. They were very kind and understanding and Brian was terrific. We also tried a Croatian wine on his recommendation and it was wonderful. We enjoyed our meals at home and they were all outstanding.
This was our second visit to Miros and it was, as expected, terrific in every way. The friendly (but not obtrusive or obsequious) service, the appetizers, the main courses and the wines: all superb. I had the shrimp and scallops provencial, my wife had the combo of stroganov, chicken paprikash and cabbage rolls. The best. Highly recomment Miros!
We spent New |Year's Eve 2017 at Miros. The stuffed red peppers were likely the highlight of
the meal ! And that says alot as everything was outstanding. We had the rack of lamb, good portion size and good perfect and the special of the night, Alaskan Black Cod, it was outstanding. Also the bottle of Pinot Grigio was excellent! It was called Borgo Conventi, 2015, excellent!
MY GF CAME VISITING, SO AT THE LAST MOMENT I NEEDED A GOOD RESTAURANT CLOSE TO HER LODGINGS-THE SAGUARO HOTEL. IT WAS MORE CASUAL THAN I EXPECTED FROM THE REVIEWS AND THE PATIO WAS MUCH SMALLER THAN INDICATED. HOWEVER, THE SERVICE, FOOD AND ATLAS PEAK CAB OUTSTANDING. IT HAS THE FEEL OF A NEIGHBORHOOD PLACE IN SF SO I WLD DEFINITELY COME AGAIN.
Easily the best meal we had while in Palm Springs. Service was at just the right level of attentiveness and very knowledgeable about the menu. I had the Butter Fish which was melt in your mouth delicious and my wife had the Beef Stroganoff which she loved. Quick Uber away from out Hotel.
I love Miro's and eat there whenever I get to town. It is somewhat old fashion in a great way. White table clothes, very professional wait staff and the owner acts as the hostess and keeps her eye on everything happening in the open kitchen. (As you walk in the front door the open kitchen is right in front of you. Unfortunately you can't see the kitchen from the dinning room. On this last visit I had the Burek which is a filo-wrapped ground meat dish. I had the Beef Stroganoff which was luscious. It made for great leftovers for lunch the next day. My husband had the Crispy Duckling which he said was wonderful. He had not one speck left over
We have lived in Palm Springs for over a year and I was searching for a "special" restaurant for us to celebrate our 47th wedding anniversary. Through Open Table, I found it! What a surprise! It is a classy and atmospheric restaurant. Immediately, at the door, we noticed the efficiency and friendliness of the staff. Our fish dinner was excellent in every way.
My husband and son-in-law had the osso buco and my daughter and I both had the Chilean sea bass. they put us back in a booth because we had a four-month-old and we were able to spread out and have a little bit of room. They were very accommodating and very warm and welcoming. The service and the food were excellent.
The service and the ambiance were what really stood out to me here. The food was fantastic as well, but the service was flawless - knew when to come over, and when to leave us alone, great timing between apps/salad/entree. Really had a great evening there - there are dishes on the menu I still want to try - we will be back!
