Dining room lights are too bright. Low light recommended
Outstanding food, service and ambiance. Cabbage rolls the best! Duck was moist and crisp. Can’t wait to return!
We always have a good experience at Miro's. Highlights this time were:
a) flexibility about rescheduling our seating to one more appropriate to our business needs.
b) the waiter/sommelier, Jurgen, persuading us to try their special wine offering, a Malbec from Caymus winery - it was terrific!
Miro's was up to its usual good standard. I had double helping of their signature central European cabbage coleslaw plus the the roast duck with its trimmings. All very good. very happy with the Malbec red wine. The waiter, Spencer, looked after us knowledgeably and attentively even though we are finicky Bond-Paleo eaters.
This is consistently on of Palm Springs’ best restaurant experiences. Hands down the best service anywhere, though everything else is excellent. Definitely on the repeat list.
My husband and I were celebrating our 37th Anniversary this past Sunday with old friends visiting from out of state. Although we’ve lived in the area for almost 6 years, this was our first visit to Miro’s. What a wonderful evening. Service, food, ambiance, value- impeccable. We had such a tough time deciding upon entrees because the whole menu is delectable! Our party experienced the wonderful Beef Stroganoff and the Pork Schnitzel dinners. Our server helped me decide upon a bottle of the Atlas Peak Cabernet- excellent. And the Lemon Tart for dessert was perfect. We can foresee many, many dinners at Miro’s in our future. And the owners, Miro and Mirela, are very warm and gracious hosts. You won’t be disappointed. Miro’s is excellent!
We love Miro’s. It is always a special place with wonderful food and great staff
Excellent restaurant with a Hungarian flair. It is a bit expensive but worth it. Many eat outside but we like inside better which has been re-done. Very eclectic menu but you will find something special to eat.
Fabulous food, the room was light and beautiful, just a pleasure to eat there’.
We are delighted to return after Miro's remodeled a while back. It continues with its charm and now is connected to patio dining, a welcome addition. We are always warmly greeted and our server was attentive to each of us. My wife and I loved the delicious cold slaw salad and fresh halibut. It is a great spot for conversation and a well prepared dinner.
A most perfect ambience where he food is consistently good...ask for Rick he is an exceptional server who makes the evening extra special
We absolutely loved our experience at Miro’s, the food quality is outstanding. Seems to be a very nicely run family restaurant, great service, delicious dishes and drinks. They have a few wines from Croatia (my wife and I spend some time in Croatia and we loved having the opportunity to drink some in PS).
Must order the Burek (meat pastry), it’s very yummy.
I had the branzino, one of the best fish dishes I had in a while; my wife had the special, veal schnitzel and was also delicious. Finished off with baklava and apple pie.
We’d go back to try more today (Monday) but unfortunately they at closed on Mondays and we’re leaving PS tomorrow.
Forgot the name of our server, he was really nice and really looked after us, he’s from former Yugoslavia just like the owners of the restaurant.
We’ll be back to PS and for sure we’ll be booking Miro’s again.
Great quality food fairly priced and great service.
We were impressed with Miro’s. Upon arrival for our 7:30 PM reservation, we were seated immediately at arguably the best table in the restaurant. We enjoyed excellent food and Croatian wine, along with outstanding service throughout the meal. The atmosphere was lively in a packed house on Saturday night, but still very pleasant. I’d recommend Miro’s to anyone who enjoys a fine meal in upscale surroundings.
Service was as expected, my invited guest’s entree a fish dish ( an evening special) contained bones. The server offered a replacement along with a desert on the house.
Surprising improvement on a few years ago.
Food and service were great. Place was packed. Met Miro which was cool.
First time visiting your restaurant in many years & because of friends recommendations, I came for dinner again & will be a steady customer.
We enjoyed our entire experience at Miro and will return soon...
Absolutely stellar service. Food was just mediocre. As it was our anniversary, we were hoping for outstanding food as well but it was just okay. My pesto gnocchi had a very strange taste - odd enough that I could not eat it. I love basil so not sure what that was. Husband’s pork was rather dry and the gravy just tasteless. My branzino was VERY dry. Menu was all over the place as though the chef could not quite figure out what he wanted it to be. Sorry, but we won’t return.
Fine dining at its best! We went on a recommendation from a friend and Miro's didn't disappoint. Excellent food, good drink selection, patio was nice and warm (even during a chilly evening) and service was kind and helpful. I recommend!
Fabulous in every way.
My husband and I have been coming to dine at Miro's Restaurant since we began vacationing in Palm Springs in the winter of 2000. The food is so good now, as it was back then, when the menu included more of the Eastern and Central European dishes. Selections now focus more on the Continental. No goulash on the menu, or cabbage rolls. However, a salad offering of chopped cabbage in a very nice vinaigrette is offered as an alternative to a green salad.
Service is excellent, even when the restaurant is humming and every table is occupied. Miro, and his wife, always make a point of greeting us when we arrive, and seem genuinely pleased to have us there.
ABSOLUTELY amazing meal. I had the Branzino and it was absolutely delicious.
Great service, excellent food - highly recommended!
Our meal was fabulous; big portions and cooked to perfection. The ambiance was great except for the close sitting and the drunk customer next to us at the end of the meal.
Miro's never disappoints. We usually get out to Palm Springs once a year and we always make sure to visit Miro's when we are in town. It was a little cooler this year so we sat inside the restaurant. The food was spectacular as usual. The Budapest Schnitzel is always a huge hit. The waiter was fantastic - nothing but rave reviews from our party of 4.
This was a great find. They were very accommodating with us as we had to change the time of our reservation. Food ambiance and service was superb.
I took my daughter to Miro's for her 20th birthday. We were in Palm Springs for a few days during her reading week (she is a student at the University of British Columbia, and we live in Vancouver). It was an exceptionally wonderful dinner. The service was superb, as was the food. I would recommend it to anyone wanting a special dining experience.
Excellent authentic Eastern European food, professional service, nice linens and candles. Lovely!
Proposed to my fiancé here and Miro and the employees were so helpful in the process. Perfect ambiance. We sat outside while it was cold and still perfect as they have heat lamps and warm blankets for every seat.
We’ve been before but not for a few years. Pleasantly surprised at the renovation of the restaurant. Beautiful inside and out. We were greeted and seated right away. The bread and hummus were delicious. The wine and beer selections made for perfect pairings with our food. Semir was our waiter for the evening. He knew the menu very well, was attentive and had a good personality along with his deep voice and pleasant accent. The staff were attentive and polite. The ambience served for a nice backdrop to our evening. And the menu had something for everyone’s taste buds. We tried the lamb meatballs for a starter and then moved onto Caesar salads which were tasty and the perfect size. Our two entrees, beef stroganoff and the shrimp & scallop Provençal were excellent in size and flavor. The pricing is consistent for these food selections and all items arrived hot to the table. The restaurant is clean and well adorned and the noise level is moderate to medium in volume. I would definitely return and recommend to others. Thanks, David (RM)
Overall experience was fine, not notable. Food was of a large portion and well cooked but not remarkable. Could not order the Croatian wine by the glass. Service was only notable because the waiter grunted as he leaned completely across the center of our table lengthwise to retrieve extra flatware rather than walking around where he would have an easy reach.
We have visited Miro’s several times over the past several years and have been impressed with the food, service and atmosphere each time. One of our favorites when we visit Palm Springs.
This restaurant has a beautiful ambiance indoors and outside on the patio. The food was good with a European touch and the service was great. They are also very consistent in every aspect of a restaurant. I will be back soon.
This was a treat to find after years of eating all over the valley. The service, food and ambience were all exceptional. The sea bass was delicious, as was the stroganoff.
Brian was an awesome guide through our gustatory experience on an early Valentines dinner. His knowledgeable review of Croatian wines suggested a perfect pairing of a Teran varietal with our meals. The Burek appetizer delivered a wonderful start to the meal. The tasty first course salad and soup choices satiated most of our hunger. That left us both with significantly tasty main courses (duck and stroganoff) to taste and pack for home, and lunch the next day.
Highly recommend Miro. Even recommended to strangers at the pool/spa at my resort later that week.
We were very impressed with this restaurant. The food was excellent, super delicious! The atmosphere and music was very pleasant. This has to be one of the best restaurants I've been to. Waiters were very friendly and provided excellent and quick service. Definetly will be coming back here again!
I love this restaurant. But this visit was less than perfect. My wife's sea bass--the most expensive on the menu--was off smelling and over cooked. She should have sent it back and didn't tell me until after we dined. I think that the fish sat around a bit too long. Not typical for this spot which has fabulous seafood. The kitchen needs to be careful to serve only the best and freshest ingredients to maintain their high ranking. I will return but will be vigilant about the freshness.
By the way, I had the cioppino with mussels, clams, shrimp and fish. It was fresh and delicious as expected.
Such good cabbage soup.
Fantastic food and atmosphere. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a special place to go for a special occasion.
