Miro's Restaurant Ratings and Reviews
Absolutely, delish! Miro's is a fine dining restaurant that you want to take your time to eat, enjoy the ambiance and your company. We sat outside and were given cozy blankets as we ate. The tapas plate was great, however by the time we ate the appies we were almost too full to eat dinner. I would definitely recommend for date night or getting together with your favorite friend(s).
Didn't realize Miro's was a cross between German and Croatian food, but that was great. Everything before the main course was great (caesar salad, cabbage salad, roasted red peppers stuffed with feta was to die for). Dinners were just OK. Salmon with crabcake was a little bland, and the short rib was half-dry. Waiter was top-notch though. Overall a good experience that didn't break the bank.
I was taken in by the beautiful website listing all its good recommendations when I made this reservation. I agree that the service was excellent, but the dinners themselves were only mediocre. The bread that was served was surprisingly tasteless, my chicken noodle soup was mostly noodles, and I didn't care for the strong garlicky taste of my beef bourguignon nor for the fact that my husband had to order an extra glass of wine since each time the glass was filled to only about 1/3 the usual amount. We didn't complain or anything. We just skipped desert, paid our bill of $128.00 (including tip) and left. CB
My two friends and I were in town for a conference and wanted a special meal together. Milo's was recommended and did not disappoint. We are all gluten free and the waiter brought us hummus and veggies instead of bread, to munch on with our drinks. Service was impeccable without being fussy and we felt so welcomed. The food was tasty and delightful
Beautiful setting, both inside and out. We started outside in November, wife felt a little chilly, and they graciously moved us inside. Very European ambiance and feel. Very personal attention and service. Meatballs truly outstanding. Schnitzel about the best in the world. If you like great northern European food, not always that great, this is for you.
interesting, changing menu
lovely terrace for outdoor dining, especially festive at night
heat lamps and blankets available if needed
combination mediterranean/eastern european menu
moroccan stew chicken or beef delicious
Also excellent black cod.
Waiter Brian very professional, and has an excellent sense of humor!
Some of the food -- our appetizers -- were extremely good (the cabbage rolls and burek)... but the entrees were just passable, nothing great (the osso bucco and the schnitzel). The real snag in the evening was our waiter. It was like having a waiter who was stressed, easily irritated, and in a bad mood. In addition, he seldom came to our table to check on water and drinks. He had no idea what the soup was, telling us it was one thing and then 5 minutes later telling the table next to us it was something else. We were rather disappointed in the experience here and won't be returning.
We took friends for their first visit and, like us, they loved it. It was a beautiful Palm Springs evening to dine outside. As always, the food and service was outstanding. Still my favorite dining experience in Palm Springs. Looking forward to the next visit.
We use to live in Rancho Mirage and Miro's was our favorite dining destination.
So every time we come back for a visit we make it a must, to go there. They had a fire this past summer and has rebuilt, better than ever. But the menu and food remained the same.
It is not a tourist destination but most local that appreciate great food and service know and have made it a favorite, as well.
This was our first visit, been meaning to try it for a long time; we were absolutely delighted with the menu, the service, and the food. The whole fish dish was superb, and the shrimp and scallop combo was great. The server was really excellent, and made the experience memorable. We will definitely add this to our list of local favorites and go back many times.
Our waiter, Brian, was wonderful. The food was absolutely delicious. We started with old fashioneds and a burek. Both delicious. I had the branzino which could not have been better. My husband got the stroganoff with spaetzle. Very good - on the rich side. We finished with blood orange sorbet. Cooling, fresh and not too sweet. I will come back again!
Absolutely outstanding meal with outstanding service. I had the citrus infused halibut absolutely wonderful. Great hummus. Great gelato. When I first arrived the owner checked with me that I got his text regarding my reservation. Everyone welcomed. Great specials.
Read good reviews about Miro's and decided to try it when my wife and I visited Palm Springs for our combined "October birthdays". We were not disappointed. All the food was good but the Cabbage Rolls were something I had never had before. We ordered them as appetizers and they were amazing. So full of flavor. Loved it.
We would DEFINITELY eat here again.
What a terrific find at the very end of Palm Canyon Drive, away from the noise and madness -- and tourist further up the street. There is a limited menu with an Eastern European flavor. The two entrees that we ordered were terrific. Great ambiance as we sat outside under the palm trees and stars. The tables are well spaced so you don't feel cramped -- and have some privacy. The service is attentive, but not overbearing. If I have to drive from Indian Wells to the west end of the valley, this is now my go to place.
So glad to have our favorite restaurant open after the fire! Neighborhood gem. Miro and his wife Mirella are always welcoming and ensure everything is as it should be. We just visited Croatia this summer so we were delighted to have a selection of Croatian wines to choose from while dining.
Love the variety of food offered Here. Something delicious for everyone’s taste
