We eat here once a month and it is always great. No matter which server we have the service is good and the food is consistently wonderful. And it is a great value.
I go to Atlanta alot, so glad I found this place, I will be a regular going forward.
We loved eating at Mirko Pasta. We felt the ambiance was a little odd; the place is small but it looked like they had repurposed a different chain restaurant building as their own, so it didn't feel like a super authentic Italian place in terms of dining atmosphere, but that didn't matter so much. The food was incredible. Everything tasted so delicious! We loved getting to create our own unique pasta dishes. They were full of flavor and tasted so fresh. Even the bread we were served was some of the best sourdough we have had. They also had a lovely variety of wines to pair with our meals. Our waiter was kind and gave great service. I felt their meals rivaled some of the fancier Italian restaurants we have been to around the city. This place is our new number 1 spot for Italiano. We will definitely be back!
I was very disappointed in Mirko. We have eaten there three or four times over the last few years. Always enjoyed it. This was a special occasion in that this week we are celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary. Here is why we gave such a low rating: out entrées arrived before we finished our appetizers. My husband ordered a veal chop entrée which was nearly raw. Our server even said, “This is disgusting.“ (Not her fault.). I ordered the ravioli appetizer as an entrée. While I like my pasta al dente, this pasta was clearly under-cooked. Out server was very nice, and I guess the management decided to give us free desserts. We live in Birmingham, and I doubt we will come back to Mirko.
Dinner out with my parents and I chose Mirko. We all enjoyed the lasagne and the Caesar salad. Unfortunately the place was very loud so it was difficult to carry on a conversation. Also it really needs a renovation. The tables were rustic but the finish over the top was chipping off and the booth was falling apart. Just tacky. Server was very inattentive. I went without a water refill for probably 20-30 min. For such a small restaurant, that is unacceptable. The food would bring me back but not often.
Great location for a birthday dinner - great service - absolutely fantastic food
Mirko is one of my favs and never disappoints. The food is consistently excellent. I’ve tried multiple dishes and liked them all. This place is all-occasions : dates, family, friends.
The atmosphere is very pleasant and intimate. The acoustics are a plus. You can carry on a conversation with others at your table in a normal voice and not be interrupted by loud music or other patrons in the restaurant.
The food, menu selections and service are exceptional.
I look forward to returning.
The food is always consistently good!
Great food. Great service.
This seems like a good family neighborhood place, but it was noisy and the service felt rushed. The food was mediocre...my seafood ravioli was overpowered with red pepper. The Caesar salad a bit mayonnaise-y. My husband's pasta was overcooked.
Food is really good. We made a reservation and were seated promptly. I would have liked a little more time between my salad and pasta courses. I was still eating my salad when the pasta was brought out. I’m looking forward to returning and enjoying an entree dish !
Meal was excellent, very small drink glasses however.
Consistently great pasta and very good entrees; wine list could use some work for better wines by glass.
Great food and good service!!! We had a family dinner and everyone enjoyed it!!!
Evrything aboutMirko is all right. Nothing more or less.
More than simply pasta. I think the grouper and salmon are really good. I had the trout on this visit and although the sauce was a little sweet for my taste it was really good. My son and daughter love the pasta dishes.
Mirko is a special place, like sunday was at your Mom if your are Italian and you all filled up on great Italian pasta, rolls and dessert. Our server Joe was very attentive to needs of 3 adults and 2 grand daughters, 8 and 6.
Love the steak and lobster special! Keep it on the menu.
I started with the creamy tomato soup which was very tasty! Entree was the Ravioli with ricotta cheese and spinach & the San Remo sauce.
Finished with a yummy raspberry cheesecake. Eryn, our server was wonderful.
Great food & spot-on service made this a wonderful night out with friends. Ambiance is so-so & it got pretty loud at one point but didn’t detract from the experience. Parking however is an issue so plan accordingly.
We really like this place. I love their salmon dinner. Wild caught Alaskan! With great sides of great scalloped potato and asparagus. Although asparagus a little too cooked. Pastas are wonderful and you can have it anyway you like it. Sauces are terrific.
Everything was perfect. The evening started with the hostess informing us service was going to be a little longer than normal due to the kitchen being backed up. Wanted us to decide if we wanted to stay or not. We obviously choose to stay and we’re extremely happy we did. Service was actually perfect thanks to Kalla T. Who had a smile on her face throughout the service. The chef also stopped by to express his concern about service. Honestly though service time was excellent as it was a relaxing and enjoyable evening without any rush. The food was also amazing. Food was fresh and hot. Excellent place, will definitely do it again and is a must do in the buckhead area.
The service and food on this occasion was mediocre. The server pressed too hard for food to be ordered and when the food was delivered one of the orders was missing. It was delivered after others had completed their meals but to the server's credit she comped the dish. The fish, while ordered to be cooked to medium, was plainly on the raw side when served. In short, a disappointing outing.
The pasta was ok, but the server didn’t seem to have a clue about the food or wine menu. We asked a question about a particular wine and he’s answer was “I don’t know, I don’t drink”. He also couldn’t answer any questions about the different pastas and sauces. It was a disappointing experience.
Never got a real server just a guy who claimed to be helping out. Couldn’t order anything after the first visit where we laced our order. But food was good.
I loved it. It was nice in the inside. The food was great, and I just love the overall dining experience
The absolutely best meal I have ever had . The Lasagna was to die for and the Spinach Salad was really good . Service was awesome . All around wonderful dining experience.
Good, hot, fresh pasta! Great service. My waiter Joseph was great!!! He definitely took care of us.
The pasta in this place is amazing, freshly made and great tasting. The staff is very friendly. We loved this place
The perfect place to before enjoying a night of music at Chastain! We looked for a nice place to dine near Chadtain before going to a concert and trusting in the reviews, gave this place a try and were delighted! For starters, I really enjoyed the spinach salad. For entrees, we had the eggplant parmesan and lasagna. Both were prepared perfectly. Quality ingredients, excellent tomato sauce, and served with a few perfect small crispy edges to the mozzarella. We don't live close but will be returning!
Though our food was exceptional the customer service provided by Alfredo could benefit from a great deal of coaching. The restaurant was more than half way empty and he only came to check on us once (after our meal was completed). I ordered cocktails at the beginning of our dining and didn’t receive them until after our meal was served. The steamed broccoli was a joke.. sent it back and refused to pay. Overall the experience was Ok and given a pass because I’ve been there before as well as the overall entree tasting very good.
Overall a nice experience. Not a particularly special atmosphere but the service and food was good. Excellent white bean dip to start!
Easter Sunday Dinner with the family...Excellent food and service ...Bravo!!
Have never been here and not had a great meal. Worth trying out if you have never tried.
Loved the food
Outstanding pasta; the mushroom ravioli with mushroom cream sauce was superb. The lasagna was the best; almost as good as my wife’s. Bolognese and pomodoro sauces and meatballs were nicely done. Prices were appropriate and overall value is excellent. Location is a converted IHOP, so the ambience is just ok, but as my Dad used to say, “you can’t eat the atmosphere!” Service was fine and attentive especially for a busy Saturday night.
The food and people were great. That’s all there is to it
Food has gotten better. Carlos, the manager, is doing a great job.
For the first time ever Mirko really disappointed. Service was bad and the food was bad for all of us . Pasta was not as ordered , sauce was cold and our guest had the potatoes left off her dish completely. She won’t be going again. I’ll give it one more chance
