Mirai Sushi - Wicker Park
One of the all time bests for sushi in the city. Wilson and the whole team are the a delight.
It was spectacular as always! It’s our family’s favorite place!
Another great evening at Mirai! Delicious food and hospitality as always.
Excellent Service - Food was amazing ! Drink options where all wonderful!! I will highly recommend Mirai Sushi to my entire team!! Thank you
I was celebrating my birthday with my family, and Mirai made it so special! It’s always such a great to eat at Mirai. The food and service are amazing g. It is by far the best sushi in Chicago!
Food was mediocre, and the price was definitely not reasonable, portions were as expected, but the staff was friendly. They also completely forgot to make something I ordered until I was ready to leave and we waited about another 20 minutes for it to come to us that was definitely not worth waiting for. It was a disappointment.
The food is good
Just the price is a bit over priced for the portion served
Best Sushi Ever! The Togarashi dishes are a MUST. Try everything. Favorite roll is the "summer roll".
Staff is attentive and kind. So few restaurants out there still care... this one does!
Fantastic as always!!!
This restaurant is by far the best sushi restaurant in the city. The owner is always on site and it is so clear that she truly cares about making sure that everything is perfect and that everyone has a good time.
Top all of that off with the fact that the food is outstanding.! Top quality fish! If you haven’t tried sushi at this restaurant, you are missing one of the best experiences around town. Finally, definitely try the togaroshi dishes for a change of pace-But beware, you may get addicted!
Simply outstanding. I've been coming here for years and the food and service is always superb. The Tuna Tuna Salmon is always melt-in-your-mouth delicious and, this time I also tried the House Salad and Gyoza Ravioli (shrimp dumplings), which were fantastic.
Great food. Outside seating was great on a perfect evening.
Good, but pricey. Least expensive glass of wine is just as much as a martini.... Basic rolls are miniature in size compared to their specialty rolls. Seven spice sauce is really good, though!
Mirai always has the best sushi - hands down! They have been my favorite for over 10 years. Their sushi is consistently high quality.
The food was really good. Ingredients were quality and the servers and bus staff were very friend. However, the amount of food for the money you spend is horrible. We spent over $120 and had to eat again after we left the restaurant.
I get sushi is expensive and generally you need a lot to feel full but this was far beyond most places I have eaten.
We dined early due to 2 children in the party. The owner could not have been nicer or more welcoming. She also had child-friendly food prepared for our picky child though the youngest tried many of Mirai’s special dishes. It was a great family evening that made the birthday even more special.
Perfect spot for a romantic date. We were celebrating our anniversary and they treated us very well. The customer is clearly valued here!
very special place with excellent food. very accomadating to special requests. very worth a visit.
Quality sushi is hard to find but this restaurant never disappoints me!
Food was truly fantastic. We had the lychee martini and the Red one - both were awesome drinks. The scallop appetizer is highly recommended and so were all 4 Chef's rolls. We also had the kani nigiri on the staff's recommendation. It was delectable. Definitely In the top echelon of restaurant recommendations for sushi
We have been customers since they opened. The atmosphere and service have diminished. The sushi was still awesome!
Great food, very slow service
It was my first time trying sushi and I was pleasantly surprised, the set up was relaxing and inviting. My waiter made sure my water glass was always filled. Overall it was a great experience.
After a very nice visit last summer (sitting outside on the patio), we tried Mirai recently for dinner inside. It was disappointing. Some of the food was OK (the nigiri was good), but most was not (sushi rolls falling apart and over-cooked-and-dried-out chicken teriyaki). Our server was delightful and truly tried to be there for us, but was overloaded with customers. We don't recommend Mirai.
The food was delicious, the service was EXTREMELY slow.
Excellent quality sushi. Highlights are the shishito peppers and makiMono.
The toro wa also geeat
Food was okay! Recommend the potstickers and rolls.
Mirai is one of the best sushi places in the Chicagoland area with fresh fish, innovative menu and dependable, personal service. Since it opened in 1999 Mirai has been consistently great.
Very authentic and very fresh sushi. Every meal melts in your mouth and highly recommend this place to everyone.
Mirai is always a great dinner out!
The sushi is very good, fresh and delicious. Specialty rolls are fantastic!
The food is consistently high quality. Mirai has been my favorite sushi restaurant for over 15 years. They never disappoint.
Great food. Willie is a great waiter!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Good fish- I had the otoro and the yukke toro which were both delicate and tasty, and we tried their chicken togarashi which was also quite good. It's expensive but that's expected with good sushi. Service is also good.
Salmon zuke was not right. Either not marinated enough or we got the wrong order on our plate.
The food is always amazing at Mirai, and as usual we were not disappointed! This is our favorite sushi place in the city.
It is great here! We have been coming since I was a kid! Most recently, we went with three kids under the age of 9 and a dog. The server was super accommodating and everybody had a wonderful time eating outside. The food is so creative and still some of the best sushi in the city!
A friend recommended the place and said the sushi was amazing. In my opinion, the sushi was OKAY. Nothing to boast about. The ambiance was great! Drinks were really good (I had a Tokyo mule). I ordered the spicy tuna and eel maki and they were both okay. As far as going back there, I’m not sure. Maybe for a date night because it’s so pretty.
A bit pricey for the items that came out sizewise compared to sushi places with similar items, that being said it was all very well made and delicious
