Thanksgiving dinner at Maryville was delightful. The turkey and short rib was delicious. So delicious, my finicky daughters finished their plates. Chris was also great and attentive.

So great. Everything on the menu except for one item can be made gluten free. Lobster bisque and lamb were the standouts. Don’t pass on dessert. Excellent kid menu and the sticky sticks kept out 5 year old quiet (better than most of the adult patrons) for our entire two hour dining experience.

Dover sole was quite good, though appetizer soup was just so-so, while the other house specialty, loin of elk, was served cold and medium-to-well done versus a medium rare request, the tasting menu appetizers and salad also okay, but certainly not great, as Mirabelle had once been. The deserts, however, proved excellent and helped mitigate the disappointments.

When Mirabelle is good, it is very good. But either they were short staff or service is truly going down. This is he second time that I had to call the attention of service as we were forgotten for a long time in a corner.

It was our first time here, although our guest had been there many times. Fabulous food, service, wine list and atmosphere. Each meal was perfectly prepared, served with exquisite timing. The atmosphere is lively and friendly but quiet enough to hear each other. Must try. Really wonderful.

The good: The restaurant is very nice and it has a warm feel to it. The dishes are creative and are beautifully presented.

The bad: Terrible service and our waiter did not appear to be trained in fine dining. Our waiter talked a good game and talked us out of our bottle order in lieu of a tasting prepared by him. His selections were decent but he failed to serve the 1st tasting with our 1st course (he delivered it between course 1 & 2). There were other various snafus after including the wrong check.

Overall: The food is good but not special and the service is correctable with better training and supervision.

Pretty, romantic country French cottage very easy to get to, lovely setting, and outstanding food preparation. Our party of 4 ranged all over the menu and not one disappointment. Foie gras to kill for.

Mirabelle is a beautiful restaurant with an elegant atmosphere. The cuisine was classic, yet innovative, and we enjoyed the food very much. Our waiter, however, really put a damper on the evening. Out of the three servers taking care of the dining room, he was by far the least professional. As a Francophile, I did not appreciate his cheesy French accent and misuse/abuse of the French language. The more it continued, the more of a turn-off it became. Throughout the evening, there were several occasions when we needed something (more water, etc.) and looked for him for quite some time before he was around to flag down. A really nice restaurant like this should select servers that can complement, not detract from the dining experience!

I'd been to mirabelle before & thought it was good but this time was outstanding. Every course was thoughtfully done. They had a good wine list with many options at varying price ranges. I would highly recommend a special meal here.

Absolutely the best! We were greeted at the door and led to the bar while we waited for our friends. Pete the Bartender took our order and made the best drinks we have had in along time. Our guess come and we went to our table. The service was excellent and the food was
even better. We had a great experience and you will to.!

Tried the tasting menu and was blown away by the quality and unique dishes presented. Asked for a wine pairing even though it wasn't listed and had a perfect pairing with each dish. Minor complaint was that dessert was with coffee not the option of a port or dessert wine but the pours with the other pairings were generous enough that I definitely didn't need it. Also minor complaint, a bear passed near the creek behind me without me noticing and the staff was more excited than scared for my life which I thought they would be!! I guess that's the difference between a Texan and Coloradan. Don't pass up a lovely night at this restaurant, you will be pleased (and possibly see a bear).

The intimate setting, impeccable service, and outstanding meals makes Mirabelle a true gem of Beavercreek. Whether you are looking for a romantic setting, a small or larger group they can accommodate you. The warmth of the cottage and decor are warm and inviting. One can see that the owners are passionate about excellent service and delicious food. They are a wonderful husband and wife team.

We come to Beaver Creek every year for two weeks and always eat at Mirabel. In fact this was our second trip in the two weeks we were there. Unfortunately this was our first not great experience. Thr entrees were served not hot and were sent back. After they returned it was ok. Then the waiter brought the desert tray Nd asked if wanted coffee. Three of us ordered cofee. The deserts were brought and finished before he brought the coffee and that was after we asked. It did not to seem to be very, but for some reason our service was not up to par.

This was our third experience at this restaurant with a lovely setting at base of Beaver Creek. Although our waiter was friendly and knowledgeable about the food and wine, he was late getting us started with wine and disappeared at the end when time to offer dessert. Possibly the restaurant was understaffed that night. The table beside us ordered a soufflé which we would have liked, but by the time waiter returned it would have taken another 25 min to cook. We were asked to wait in bar for ten minutes upon arriving even though restaurant was not busy at 6:45. Another couple had to wait also so we thought maybe they want you to have a cocktail first. Finally, the food was delicious but frankly the halibut was better this time than their signature Dover sole. We will return but hope service is better next time.

Birthday dinner for ten guests. No acknowledgement of celebration was made, food was of very marginal and waiter was also very poor! At one point one of the guest that had ordered Elk was served beef tenderloin, when made aware of the mistake his remark was, "no you didn't order Elk you ordered tenderloin!" Two of the guests the replayed that Elk was ordered, only then did the waiter reluctantly served the Elk. He was also rude in removing plates from the table interrupting conversations and actually pushing arms aside to remove the plates without excusing himself. We've enjoyed many fine meals and experiences at Mirabelle and were most embarrassed and sorry we invited our other guests to join us in our birthday celebration and be totally disappointed, and sadly will never return to a restaurant we always so looked forward to enjoying!

Very well thought out and executed cuisine. They have a clear vision of what they are making, and the taste, texture and presentation of each dish was excellent. I had the four course menu, an excellent option. In particular, the elk and the dessert were quite exceptional. My wife and son had the Dover Sole, which generated some minor disagreement--she felt it was too strongly spiced but I thought the treatment was seamless. When you have these sorts of discussions, it indicates a thoughtful chef.

Mirabelle is a chef-owned and operated restaurant with fine dining is a "french" or perhaps Belgian setting. During the summer season they offer dining on a beautiful secluded patio with a small stream bubbling along the side. The food is carefully chosen, beautifully presented and skillfully served. The wine list is top notch and recognized by wine publications. We both chose the grass fed beef tenderloin complemented by a glorious French St. Emillion wine. This is one of those "worth the" price places that earns the right to its fairly high prices. Since it is located in the heart of Colorado skiing, it draws a good crowd to its fairly small room. We save up to do Mirabelle once a year.

We came back today for lunch on the patio shaded with ancient trees. The setting is such a respite from the pace of other restaurants in Beaver Creek. Mirabelle is an old world, European setting for quiet conversations and the making of memories. My husband had the roasted free range chicken breast which he described as "the best chicken I've ever had." Chef was willing to prepare the sole for me, and I was so pleased. The presentation was beautiful, fresh herbs and vegetables, the sauce light and paired beautifully with the fish. We will be back in a few weeks and will bring friends!

Open Table messed up and there was no record of the reservation. When we got home we were
asked why we were a "no show"! I hope this has been addressed. Fortunately Mirabelle could still seat us.
Food was generally good...home cooked quality...comfort bistro food not high end.
Ambiance is familiar...could use an update but I like it.
My first course of mussels was so-so...over-cooked and small but they do have good snails in garlic butter. The roast duck with small plums was great...one friend liked her monkfish and the other person liked his calf liver.
One of the waitresses or owner was in fine form...an in-house Edith Piaf-type voice...she sang to each table...fun!
We skipped desserts.

As always Mirabelle did not disappoint, the entire evening was amazing. The table next to the creek made for a special and memorable evening. The service Chris provided was top notch, from the wine selection advice to the adding of extra lamb chops to the meal since that is how he likes that dish to picking out 3 different desserts for us. He was on it and has a passion for what he does. The food is always amazing, always.

Food and atmosphere were good. One of our party ordered a beginning course that they said for $15 more make it an entree. Another at our table ordered the beginning course as their main course. Both were the same size. So don't spend the money to upsize. But otherwise the food was excellent.

We hadn't dined here for many years, and went back to see if we liked it better. The restaurant is lovely, the service was very good, and the food was good. But, for some reason, it just didn't click with us. There are many really good restaurants in the Vail area that we enjoy. Mirabelle just isn't one of them.
