Second time visiting. Just a nice quiet place to have dinner. Very elegant
From arrival to departure, from drinks and appetizers to dessert, our experience was extraordinary! Mirabelle is the crown jewel of fine dining in the Vail valley and Colorado.
The food and service is always amazing at Mirabelle!
It was a fantastic dining experience. The food and service were fabulous. Definitely the place in the Vail valley for an intimate dinner. We will definitely be returning.
Love love Mirabelle, always an amazing experience!!
Food was terrible- soup had no depth of flavor and salad was over-dressed and highly vinegary. Maybe we caught them on an off-day- but definitely will not go back.
Writing comments about ambience in the COVID era isn't really possible, but overall this is an excellent restaurant. The food, service, and value are outstanding. I'm glad they are finding a way to survive during these trying times....
Such a wonderful evening. Food was great. Service was great. Ambience great.
Always lovely and wonderful food, high end!
Great place with the feel of a place not in a condo building. Loved it.
The food was perfect and had nice small plate servings, and had we been able to sit outside I think I would’ve loved the ambiance a little bit more.
Pricey, but if it’s special occasion then I say go all in and enjoy!
We went for a special anniversary. They sat us by the noisy kitchen in a small room with an 8 top. Had I known how lovely the patio was, I would have asked to be moved.
Overall, both food and service were amazing! The location is precious. My wife and I really enjoyed the Elk and Lamb main course dishes. The chocolate desert was spectacular as well.
(The only thing we didn’t care for were the Crackers that the Sweet Breads were served on... they were way too hard (like broken tooth hard) and thick. Really couldn’t taste the Sweet Breads.)
Wonderful evening at Mirabelle, as usual. This is a very special place, introduced to us by friends earlier this year, and we had to come back. Atmosphere is wonderful and elegant without pomp or overdone “trendy” style that makes one place indistinguishable from another. Mirabelle is always classy and refined but very comfortable. The food is exquisite and the service impeccable. Could not rate it higher.
Awesome all the way around.
Mirabelle is a hidden gem outside of the Beaver Creek Resort gate—perfect location if you’re staying at the Park Hyatt Resort. Food was delectable, good variety despite COVID restrictions. Ambience was fantastic for special event; we are on our honeymoon. Wine selection was fabulous. What a wonderful old home for a special dinner night out.
Another beautiful quiet, adult dining experience at Mirabelle where the setting felt very safe (unlike many other restaurants), the service was attentive but unobtrusive, and the food was exceptional. The butternut squash soup was rich and thick without cream calories, the little gem salad a joyful presentation of sweet and savory bites, the elk perfectly prepared and the sole, crisp and brown around the edges. A wonderful, warmly executed European evening to remember!
Outstanding venue, food was great, service was attentive, quiet setting, nicely decorated old house. highly recommend Mirabelle for anyone in the Beaver Creek/Vail area.
Well, all I can say is that my entree was cold - not even lukewarm.
We have eaten at Mirabelle three times in the past two weeks while I was in the Vail area for surgery. The setting is lovely and inviting, the staff welcoming and the food varied and absolutely delicious! We are from Houston where excellent restaurants abound, and find Mirabelle to be one of our top five restaurants anywhere! It will always be on our go-to list!
The staff at Mirabelle took great care of us for my birthday! Very special French gourmet dining experience!
A quaint atmosphere in a stand alone house just inside the entrance to Beaver Creek . Charming. Charming bar area also. An exquisite foodie experience with unique chef interpretations on fine dining standards. There were only adults dining there when we visited and I would think this would be the appropriate situation, but others may disagree. Some might think the menu is pricy, but I would disagree. In fact, the same bottle of Pinot Noir we ordered was 40$ less at Mirabelle than when we ordered it at a comparable restaurant in Dallas.
We loved it!
Our last night in Beaver Creek was made special with a two top table by the doorway to the patio. We had all the benefits of in/ out seating on a beautiful evening. Steak and seafood were superb. A can’t miss spot!
Dover sole was delicious . We had a beautiful table outside by the small creek, so lovely! Service was good.
Dining at Mirabelle was a fabulous experience! The atmosphere, the service, the quality of the food... absolutely everything was impeccable!! We had such a great date night with my wife. Chef Daniel Joly made that night so memorable. We definitely recommend dining at Mirabelle and would come back without a doubt.
Amazing restaurant!!! We visit this place every time we came to Vail.
Wonderful food and service. We went two nights in a row.
We had a great time and the food was wonderful. It was a special day for us and we decided to spend our evening with you.
Tried the gourmand tasting menu with the wine pairing. Every course was excellent. I’ve been disappointed with the wine pairings at other restaurants from time to time, but this one was actually quite good.
My family and I have always enjoyed dining at Mirabelles, such a wonderful restaurant!!
Unfortunately, we cannot rate Mirabelle as high as we would have liked. We were very much looking forward to coming here based on word-of-mouth reservation information. However, our experience from the beginning was not good. My old-fashioned cocktail was not even made even close to correctly. The lobster bisque had unidentifiable lumps and was lukewarm. The pricing for everything was $45 and higher for each entrée and the portion sizes were small. My daughters duck was cold. My measly 4 ounces of elk was lukewarm and was embarrassingly small for the price paid. The vegetables were also not cooked correctly. We paid $14 for Frites and $14 for brussels sprouts. Those brussel sprouts were supposed to be crispy but they were soggy and cold. We had a grand total of 24 french fries for the entire table. Finally the manager seemed to be tied up with another table across the restaurant for the entire meal. I’m not sure who they were but she obviously felt they were more important than everybody else. By the time she came over and heard our concerns, it was frankly too late. We are here on vacation and offering us some sort of discount at the next time we come was not acceptable. I’m sorry but we will not be back. Northside restaurant is a much much better choice. I very rarely write negative reviews on venues such as Yelp or TripAdvisor, etc., because I know that people in the restaurant industry are hard-working and have been hit very hard by the epidemic. Nevertheless, this place just wasn’t up to par.
Great, knowledgeable staff, and we will go mikes out of our way to return!!
Complete package fine dining experience; ambience, staff performance, food, wine list.....everything. The only reason for a four star ranking for food, is the difficulty of the category, where a five star ranking is reserved for a "blown away" experience. We fully intend to return.
Lovely setting good variety wonderful service
We have eaten at a number of restaurants that a certain tire company has given one, two or even three stars. Mirabelle is deserving of stars (plural) if said tire company ever rolls into Colorado.
We had the prix fixe: lobster salad gets an A, dover sole A+ (extremely creative preparation, not the normal bland standard version), duck/foie gras A+, pommes frites A, dessert assortment A.
Constructive criticism: The Pride Viognier 2017 375ml was oxidized and should be taken off the list. We don't mind this flavor so fine for us, but not what it was meant to be. The Ch. Pedesclaux 2016 was quite good and should be even better in a few years.
We will be back and look forward to trying that Girardin Volnay that Peter recommended. (BTW, Peter agreed with our assessment of the Pride Viognier).
Your place is a gem. Thanks for caring so much and executing at such a high level.
Great evening! Food and Service was excellent. We lived in Belgium for six year. The evening felt like being back in Europe.
We came here with our three kids and so glad we did! The food was amazing! And I am very grateful that they had a children's menu. Many higher end restaurants don't and they had a really great one! The dover sole was so so good and the chicken was amazing! The chocolate cake with pistachio ice cream was so good too! Next time we are in Vail we will definitely come back to this restaurant and would highly recommend when you are visiting Vail.
When making reservation, option were indoor or outdoor. Expected outdoor on the porch or back deck.
Instead got a table on the front lawn- noisy with nearby traffic and rained towards end of meal.
Meal for 2 was about $300. If I’m going to be seated on a lawn, exposed to traffic, rain, would like to know. If I’d known I would have cancelled.
Meal itself had some good components and some bad ones (terrible $14 side of mashed potatoes which would have been better from instant mix out of a box).
I understand COVID issues. I’ve been coming to this restaurant since early 1990s...
Cannot recomend at this time til they get their act together.
Food and ambiance was great! Portions we’re a little small and it’s pricey! But great for special occasions.
