Mint Leaf Indian Cuisine
A surprising gem, nice staff, charming decor and a kitchen that purveys bright and innovative dishes.
Delicious and authentic Indian cuisine with great ambiance to match.
It doesn't look like much from the outside, but the inside is really colorful and festive. Food is excellent and the service was very good.
Delicious meal. Great service.
I have a mobility issue. Staff is very helpful. Easy access for seniors with mobility issues. Food and service are excellent. Love coming here with my grand daughters.
Bad, over-priced Indian food. Heard good things about it. Was disappointed. Will not return.
Amazing food, wonderful staff, great ambiance. Love it!
DELICIOUS FOOD SERVED IN A DARK AND ELEGANT ROOM. YUMMMM
Great food and service. Our waiter was attentive but not over bearing. He cared about my daughter’s crazy food allergies and made sure she had everything she needed. Thank you Mint Leaf!
The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. Staff was gracious and very attentive.
Always pleased with the cuisine, ambience, and service. We're thrilled to have exemplary food so close by.
The owner and staff are always very nice and helpful. Along with great food, it’s a winning combination. I’ve been here many times and it is always top quality. Thank you
I took my family out for dinner at Mint Leaf! It was a phenomenal experience from the service and the food! The staff made us feel comfortable and at home and were attentive to our needs! The food smelled great, was presented wonderfully, and tasted delicious! Mint leaf went above and beyond as usual!
Always a positive experience. David, our waiter was excellent. He was friendly and attentive.
Food was awesome! Wonderful staff. Love the feel of a smaller restaurant. Decor is beautiful. We all shared our dishes and each one was delish. Nice sized menu for vegetarians. Found tha restaurant online. If we ever return to Pasadena, we'll easy there again.
Food was so good. Would definitely recommend to anyone that likes Indian food, and especially to those who like spicy food
Off the beaten track location in North East Pasadena but very good quality Indian food in a comfortable setting. We were 4 people and had the chicken vindaloo, shrimp curry and samosas for appetizers. The service is friendly and efficient. A reservation is essential on weekend as this is a busy place.
Nice selection of food, service was great. Looking forward to going back.
Always great food and good service
Love this place but the prices are creeping up as it becomes more popular!
Don’t push away your regulars ..........
Delicious food, surprisingly elegant, quiet atmosphere.
This is one of our favorite Pasadena restaurants. We have eaten many things on the menu and enjoyed them all. We made a reservation on a Thursday night because sometimes there can be a long wait without one, but that day we could have walked in and sat down. We like our food spicier and have over the years had to learn to be assertive that when we ask for a 7, we really do mean that spicy. The servers did a great job of keeping our water glasses full and the cucumber water is a treat in itself.
Some of our most favorite dishes are the baby eggplants in this amazing yellow coconut curry sauce, all of the tandoori, and the Kerala curry fish made with barramundi. It has this complex red curry sauce that still allows you to taste the fish. The portions are quite generous and if we order two entrees, a vegetable, naan, and rice we have enough leftovers for lunch the next day.
our waiter was terrific, we had great service and the food was excellent
We like eating here. Their opportunities to help customers have a more enjoyable experience would be to remove one table from each wall to gain some breathing room between parties. It's a little too close for comfort in my opinion. We'll still go here but we do get frustrated trying to have a conversation and the next table over is ordering, so we need to stop talking to avoid talking over the waiter and guests.
Delicious, authentic Indian food in a really great setting!
I think that MintLeaf has the best Indian food in the whole Sangabrel Valley.
Fresh and flavorful and the staff is very friendly and helpful
Santos is amazing so as the food
Love love Mintleaf!! Food is awesome. Shout out to Santos- best waiter ever.
ordered a v egetarian appetizer, got an all meat appetizer. asked for a booth when the restaurant was all but empty, was told they were all for 6 people or were reserved. When i left, around 7:30, there were several booths with 3 or 4 people only and the rest with 6. Finally, I was charged for the meat appetizer i did not want.
The food was excellent but there was no place to wait so we had to stand for 25 minutes even though we came at the time of our reservation. It was raining outside so an uncomfortable wait.
We’re regulars at the Mint Leaf as the food is consistently delicious and the staff is lovely. We did meet Bernice, for the first time last night, and she made our evening just a bit better than ever. Thanks everyone, you make every evening there memorable.
My sister turned me on to this place a few weeks ago and now is my go to place for Indian food. All others in the area pale in comparison the the excellent food at the Mint Leaf.
Enjoyed a nice dinner at the restaurant. The restaurant is quite busy so reservations are a must. Great food and service. Has an upscale look, but crowded when full. Definitely among the top 5 Indian restaurants in the Southern California area. Methi chicken, chicken tikka masala, and paratas were excellent.
Some of the best Indian food in LA! In a random area of Pasadena but the interior decor is beautiful and the food was outstanding.
Daughter returning from college and buying a new house
If you like good Indian food you won't be disappointed. Excellent service too.
The food was amazing! They were very busy and our waitress had to reminded of a couple of things, which is understandable considering how busy it was. The only negative was table setting and clearing was very noisy. The dishes were dropped into place making a terrible clatter. This will in no way keep me from returning, but I feel that the staff needs to be aware of this.
My husband and I decided to first time try Indian cuisine, and it was very disappointing. Overall I believe it can be a great restaurant, however the service is off, the receptionist was rude, did not even try to smile. The waiter was trying, he was over his head, and kept apologizing for shortage of staff they had. It was a busy night and there were not enough people working. However the food was bad as well, we will not be going back.
The food came cold, and based on the overall experience it's a very pricey restaurant
Food was great. The tables are way too close together. Felt like we were sitting with a group and we couldn’t have a real conversation.
