We were looking forward to Ming II based on the great reviews. I was not impressed, mostly by the food. Ambiance and service were quite good. But without the food being a draw, it's not worthwhile considering the other options in the area.

The food is delicious and great quality. The ambience is nice and the cocktails are amazing! This place never disappoints! And the service is fantastic too!

Our go to place for great food and outstanding service! Ming is one of my favorite restaurants. Lots of vegetarian options and they have great options for drinks and food as well.love the service and ambience a lot! They go out of the way to make you feel comfortable. Good for dates and kids equally. They have nice soups,appetizers and entree’s. The crispy lotus stem and chili garlic fried rice are my favorites!! They even arranged a chocolate cake for our birthday celebrations. They also have complimentary parking. Totally recommended for any occasion or even a casual lunch or dinner date! Clean restaurant and very kids friendly as well! Recommended dishes include spicy coriander soup, veg sweet corn soup, lotus stem, baby corn, Hakka noodles, veg Manchurian and chili garlic rice. Prompt service and servers are always on their toes!

Excellent food, wine and service as always. This is our favorite restaurant in the Morristown area.

Great food , good service, creative dishes

The noise level was higher than normal thanks to several children whose parents couldn't cope. Otherwise, it was a good experience, though things have slipped from several years ago when I rated them higher. The food was good but had been excellent in the past.

The food was not the best, the drink was really bad and our server kind he disappeared for long period of time. Was my first time in this restaurant and honestly I don’t know if I would go back to give a second change. The decorations was the outstanding. Love it. But I don’t eat decoration.

We love Ming II. The food is always outstanding (though a bit pricey) and there are lots of vegetarian options. We love Henry - he's a fantastic server. Our only real complaint is that it can be quite loud in there - something about the acoustics don't absorb sound. We had a large party next to us and felt like we had to yell to hear each other across the table.

The food and service were excellent. My partner and I are both vegetarians and there were lots of choices for us. We enjoyed the unique and delicious cocktails. It’s a little hard to find but we are glad we found it and would definitely eat here often if we lived here.

We enjoy our time each and every time we decide to make the 45 min commute! Absolutely delicious! Excellent service! Ambiance that caters to all occasions!

I really like this place. Service is good, food is good and most importantly they customize the food if you have some preferences. I highly recommend this place as one of the best fine dining places in New Jersey.

Might be too overpriced for asian cuisine. Dishes were ok- nothing stood out. Service was impeccable, same as their sister restaurant, Mendhi. I will still recommend to friends- their taste might be different from mine.

The food is good but way too expensive for what it was. Honestly, do you really need to charge for rice when you charge $23 for curry?

Loved everything!! From the martini to the shrimp green curry soup.

When we got there at 5:30 we were the only people there so it was nice and quiet and remained that way the whole time. We have been there previous times when it was full though and it gets very loud. It is also pretty dark for my taste. The staff was great and the food was great as well. The vegetarian pad thai noodles are amazing. We will definitely go back.

Amazing! Beautiful restaurant serving delicious Asian cuisine (Thai, Malaysian, Chinese) paired with courteous/fast service and hand crafted seasonal cocktails! Notable wines selection and non alcoholic drinks selection is worth mentioning!
Food was flavorful and very well presented.
They validate parking for the underneath parking garage. It’ll be our regular dinner spot before movies at the best AMC in the area!

I have visited Ming couple of years back. I really liked the food. How ever this was experience was really bad. The methanis put a good show, good ambience decor. Etc. sadly the food was something they should do better
1. Pls remove the dumplings from ur menu. It’s just bad. Also I was first served cold dumplings . Dumplings are steamed , which means they are usually piping hot. So I think I got stale dumplings, it was readily replaced with warm dumplings though it did little for its taste
2. We were told Chikki chicken was ur most popular dish. Horrible chewy chicken and again did not feel fresh.
I would say that The Thai rice and Hakka noodles were good.
You servers should taste ur food and should be in a position to recommend good Food

The best Indian Chinese near Morristown. The service is impeccable and food is awesome.

Very good Chinese food for northern N.J. would have given 5 stars, but charging for white or brown rice is unlike any other Chinese restaurant where I have dined. Good wine list and prompt helpful service makes this is great choice in Morristown area, plus free parking.

Always a quality meal. I wish it was a bit more economical. I'd go more often.
