We met up with a friend who was staying at a nearby hotel. It was a real treat as we had forgotten just how good it is. When we first moved to Orlando 20+ years ago this was the only good Chinese restaurant. We now have plenty of local good Chinese restaurants so we hadn't been there in a while. We will put this back in our lists of restaurants and be back soon.

We have eaten here three times this year and absolutely love it. The food is excellent and service very attentive This past visit we were seatrd in a lovely glassed in area overlooking a pond with fish swimming around. Very romantic.
My husband ordered a complete meal that included soup, spring rolls, and dessert. Main course was crispy pork, rice and fresh broccoli. I ordered scallops that came in a flaming wok with seven vegetables in a sauce. Included a bowl of rice. I ordered Tiramisu for dessert. It is the best I have ever eaten.
Definitely will go back and highly recommend it. Enjoy!!

Chinese food was good, the sushi was only fair. Would probably only recommend for Chinese food.

Finding good dim sum on Hong Kong, NY, or LA isn't too difficult. Finding it in Florida is a while different challenge. We ran a half marathon this weekend and my girlfriend wanted to celebrate with dim sum. I took her to Ming Court and she was very happy. The ambience is nice, we were seated by the pond, but it looked like most every table had a nice view. The service was more like what one expects in China than here in the States, but our waitress was very good once I figured that out. The food was fast and very good. A little pricey but it could have been much worse on I-Drive with the captive tourist audience. We started with pork buns, then shrimp and chive dumplings, a seaweed and peanut salad that was served cold, Chinese broccoli, and roast duck. We finished with sesame seed balls which were a little different than we are used to, but still tasty. Overall we were very happy with our meal and I'm sure we'll be back for dim sum again soon!

The server didn't advertise that one of the plates ordered was extremely spicy! I complain about that and she didn't like it!
I called the manager and explained the situation for him!
I'm tourist from Brazil and when I'm in Orlando I go there for dinner!
The food is great but this time I didn't have luck with the server!

While the service was fast, fast is not always what you want in a restaurant of this type. Food was servered fast and hot but had too much sauce. The cocktail I ordered was good but after I finished it the empty glass set on the table with no offer of a 2nd. After the server took away the still full plates we were never asked why we left so much, if we wanted to take it to go or if we wanted dessert. I assure you our displeasure was an poo an in our tip.

We ate here for Valentines Day and as usual they did not disappoint. The service is always great and the food is well prepared. Nobody does chicken chow mein or lemon tangereen chicken like they do. The shrimp wonton soup is outstanding.

My girlfriend and I had dinner here. The food was pretty good...we had sushi/sashimi...since we were in FL, I was expecting much better quality fish than what we get in our land-locked state..this did not happen.
Ambience was a bit better...they had people playing traditional instruments...there were a bunch of loud New York/New Jersey type people throughout the restaurant that had a negative impact on the mood but its not the restaurants fault.
Our waiter was a bit pushy...like he was in a hurry to get us out so they could get the next round of "cattle" through...there was also a bit of a language barrier.
It was nice that there was free parking at the restaurant but keep in mind that it's on a busy road.
I would suggest this place for lunch...not so much for dinner. It was also a bit overpriced(like most things in the area)...just taking their part of the tourist's dollars. Can't blame them for that.

Very impressive building for a Chinese restaurant. Food was about on par with what you would expect with this type of restaurant. Being on the I Drive section of Orlando, it has a theatrical appearance in terms of the building

We had to take the $50 menu. The food was OK, but with drinks and taxes we ended up over $80 each. There are much better offers in town.

Hubby is Chinese and we have dined here for over 10 years, kids now grown, always compare dim sums to Ming Court's! DD and hubby dined today on the way to the airport home for dd. She, dd had to go to her fave dim sum restaurant b4 leaving! As always food was wonderful, filling and well flavored!

The food was okay. The tone and service was not inviting. We actually felt uncomfortable. It was New Years Day and we were looking to have an engaging and enjoyable experience. Not the case! Also wanted to order desert. We were given the check immediately after our entree and not asked if we wanted desert. So paid the bill, left and went elsewhere for desert!!

Food was great, well prepared and delicious. Service was horrible as best. Felt like we were a burden to the staff. 20 minutes to get a drink. Never offered a wine list (big mistake). Have been there for lunch many times and always had a good experience. Will probably never visit for dinner again

A favourite spot for many years we confidently pre booked for our entire vacation (a number of visits were planned).

This year however the quality of food we previously valued had disappeared. Old favourites on the Dim Sum menu were barely a shadow of their former selves and the preparation of the food was a major issue.

The setting and service remained as remembered but business seemed very light and as the reason to make the journey (the fine food) had disappeared we decided to drop the restaurant totally from our itinerary.

Sad loss

The food was ready within minutes of ordering. It was not very tasty and presented very sloppy.
The waitress rushed us through everything. The food came to our table and she never came back to see if we needed anything else. I was very disappointed. I stopped going to Ming court because the food was not so good but I taught I give it a try they might have changed chef.

Ming Court was a nice Chinese restaurant surprise on I-Drive in Orlando. Booked reservations through Open Table. Arrived through the front entrance with Koi pond, nice plants and several statues. Friendly greeting right away upon entering, 2 people playing music in the bar area, our table was ready at desired reservation time, sat near a window overlooking Koi pond. Server was really nice, wonderful Chinese lady that loved her job and everything on the menu. Menu has lots of pictures of the meals on it. We started out with a Volcano Roll sushi and some Pot Stickers. The pot stickers were pretty much like anywhere else. They were hot with just the right amount of crisp. The Volcano Roll was large, tasted fresh, but just way too much sauce on it. Would order again, but say light on the sauce. Entrees were a lightly breaded fish medley with vegetables and white rice and a wok creation in brown sauce that had chicken, vegetables and fried rice. Both dishes were hot, fresh, presented nicely and large enough to take some home in a small to-go box. I would definitely go to Ming Court again if I was on I-Drive and was craving some Chinese food. Tasty food, nice decor, friendly staff. Great job all around by the Ming Court.

Our waitress was very attentive even though she was serving several large tables around us. The food was prepared in quite a timely fashion (It felt like our appetizers arrived within a few minutes of our order followed shortly by our entree). The menu had a ton of variety and our food was delicious. The ambience is also perfect for both large groups and romantic dates.

This is our first experience with open table.
We had previously visited Ming Court and knew where we wanted to sit.We asked for a quiet table with plenty of light.
It was perfect!
As to the food,no mention was made that the shrimp wonton soup was made with fried wonton..a no no for us.And the fact that they have only white rice not brown was a bit off putting, but paled given the ambiance. We each ordered separate dishes, and felt that the food was ok,but expected more in quality-the sauces were heavy and too much for the food....order them on the side. And for dessert,a forune cookie could easily be accompanied by an orange slice ...nothing over the top here.Nonetheless, from the Koi fish greet you and are the last thing you see on your way out,and if you take a moment to enjoy them, the experience leaves you wanting to return.
