There were six of us dining. Four had delicious meals. My fillet did not melt on my mouth, in fact it was chewy. One other person’s prime rib was also chewy. My favorite part was the lemon cream cake. Absolutely divine!

We love this restaurant. Only complaint is the background music which is not up the standards of food excellence and service. Seems like some nice piano music would work much better than 80s pop tunes with a $30 entree

The waitress was a severe minus at first but redeemed herself. Salad bar was horrible. I grew up in SF eager to show off a favorite to be severely disappointed. What happed? Where are the old favorites? And the CS?

My husband and I had not been to Minerva’s since we moved here 10 years ago, so we were excited to try it again! We had a great server “Heather” who did a wonderful job. She took excellent care of us all night. I’m glad to see the prices there are right in line with all other restaurants - nothing outrageously priced. Heather said everything is locally sourced - which is nice. Now, onto the good stuff….THE FOOD….the food in my opinion was outstanding!!!! I had the The Pheasant Risotto! Mushrooms, cheese, rice, pheasant…need I say more. You can’t find risotto anywhere else in this town so I was done!!!! My husband ordered the Duck with lingonberry sauce! Again, where else can you really get duck in this town?!? He said in was delicious! He almost ate all, so I’m assuming it was! Plus he had the cheddar mashed potatoes which I tried and those I could’ve smothered on me….well I’ll stop there! They were delicious as well! We also tried a lot dessert cause obviously we weren’t full enough! Crème brûlée please! To die for!! And let me tell you….I know my crème brûlée…..that crunchy goodness on top….so good! A must try! We will be back, just a little sooner- not 10 years!

Great location at the heart of downtown. Restaurant was very busy and service was a little rushed. Food was very good for the most part. Some dishes needed a little bit extra. For example the French onion soup could have been cooked down more with the onions softer and seasoned better. The Brussel spouts were hard with a little watery balsamic tossed through them, not enjoyable. Steaks were very good as was the coconut shrimp starter. Cocktails were also very good. Would return to try different things including prime rib which was sold out.

We were seated right away as we arrived, which was nice. After waiting anout 15 minutes, we ordered a couple of appetizers. They were pretty good. Our dirty plates, however, sat stacked on the table for a very long time and to top it off, the busser stood behind our table and stood there and stared at us all while our dirty dishes got stacked higher and higher! We were just about to ask the host stand to please find someone to clear our plates when someone finally did it! It was very disappointing to sit with dirty plates at such an establishment that usually has high remarks. The main entrees and salad bar were good. Our night out would have been really nice if it wasn't for the stacked plates!
