Each piece of sushi is flame-seared using a blowtorch and binchotan (oak charcoal), resulting in sushi with a smoky aroma and a melt-in-your-mouth texture.

    spent 140$ for 13 pieces of sushi + 6 pieces of beef tataki + 1 small tomato salad + 3 pieces of fried chicken. Much smaller portion compared to few years ago.

    The food was good but not outstanding. The service was friendly and efficient. It was very noisy. We were seated in the back where sound bounced off the hard surfaces. There was a loud table of about eight diners who increased the noise level to quite unpleasant. Perhaps carpeting that area would help dampen the sound? I've dined here many times and with each visit, I am less impressed. don't think I will rush back to this restaurant.

    The manager came to our table to apologize for the delay in our dessert course. Although the server had placed the order, it did not print in the pastry kitchen, hence the half hour delay. The server and manager deducted the amount of the dessert from our final tab. We appreciated the courtesy of the staff at Minami.

    Food was great. It's been over 5 years since I've been to Minami since we live overseas but it did not disappoint. Aburi was amazing

    Beautiful modern restaurant where tables aren't crowded together. All staff were energetic and happy. The Bluefin tuna tartar was incredible as well as the Ebi Fritters which are created with large prawns. We tried so many different sushi and sashimi and all we fantastic. Minami tastes and feels like a Michelin restaurant.
