Mimosa Grill Ratings and Reviews
The food here wasn't bad. I really liked the grilled ceaser salad but the hush puppies and salmon lacked something. Service was the weren't I've encountered in a very long time. Our waiter forgot to bring bread and had to be asked if there were any specials. At the end he charged my credit card for $5 over the amount on the bill and didn't even say anything about it. I won't be back.
I always have an exceptional dining experience at Mimosa Grill. The ambience and very sleek modern decor put it in a class of fine dining at its best.
The Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable especially when you’re indecisive about what to get on the menu. They bring a sense of calmness and confidence that says; “I’ve got your back”.
My recommendation for a starter; don’t leave without trying the Parmesan truffle fries. They’ll take your taste buds to another level and you’ll never look at fries the same way again. I had the salmon and my coworker had the shrimp and grits both well prepared. The presentation was excellent.
I wanted to love this restaurant, but I didn’t. Food was over-priced and extremely small portions. I wanted the lobster Mac-N-Cheese everyone raved about online, but it was no longer on the menu. Overall the food menu was skimp, portions skimp, bill...not skimp.
On a good note, our waiter was very nice....but not nice enough for a repeat patronage.
Great service, awesome food. We dined at dinner , but my wife requested the shrimp and grits from the lunch menu . Not only did they make it , they made it a bountiful dinner portion . Service was great and all the food has been delicious each time we have dined there .
There was 4 of us dining on a Sunday evening and the service and food was outstanding. We had the Trout, Fried Chicken, NY Strip and Pork Chops. We also ordered the Pimento Mac 'n Cheese and Crispy Roasted Brussel Sprouts to share and both were fantastic. Highly recommend!
Very disappointing. This used to be one of my favorite restaurants but seems to have had a big change in the kitchen. Very limited menu. Table ordered 2 orders of the hush puppies. They were unbearablely spicy. Someone doesn’t know the difference in a tablespoon and teaspoon.
We went to Mimosa Grill for Thanksgiving dinner buffet. We were one of the last tables sat for the evening and it wasn't until we were finishing up our food that we noticed we were basically the only ones left. (It was 5:30 pm) There was no longer any refills on desserts and although we had ordered a bottle of wine with our dinner, we felt rushed to finish it and leave as our waitress was clearly waiting on us to go home. I totally understand the balance between having employees enjoy the holidays and being open for business, but I'm not sure this was quite the right mix.
Service was good and food was well-prepared but way overpriced! I paid $62 for a steak, potatoes, shared appetizer, and glass of wine. Crab cake appetizer was outstanding. Steak had some funky seasoning which I was not fond of and only came with a few fingerling potatoes. Thought portions were extremely modest for the price. Salads and sides were ala carte. May try lunch to see if better value but won't be back for dinner unless someone else is paying!
