This was a perfect place for brunch with the ladies. The food, service and ambiance was great!
Business lunch reservation was for 11:30 am- party of 5. Food took over an hour. Had to ask the server a couple of times to check. Think he probably forgot to put the order in. When he realized we were put off, he just stopped paying attention to our table (empty glasses). Had to rush thru lunch then he was nowhere to be found when we needed to pay and rush out. Didn’t comp anything or even apologize for the wait. Food was fine, but don’t think I’ll be bringing clients back anytime in the future.
Great good, great customer service!
I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a special meal. The hush puppies (made with rock shrimp, crayfish, and leeks) were a great choice for appetizer, partnered with the charcuterie board. The Beef Tenderloin Filet served with grilled fingerlings and roasted mushrooms was over-the-top delicious and the cocktail menu knocked the meal out of the park. One of the top ten dining experiences of my life. Great service, a comfortable setting, and WONDERFUL food. Please visit if you are able.
Sunday brunch was alright. I wish they had a little more variety. The french toast was the highlight of the meal.
We arrived early for our Father's Day celebration and the staff was most accommodating in seating us after a very short wait. The service was more than outstanding as our waitress frequently returned to our table to ascertain our needs, if any, and always with a pleasant smile. The menu was a buffet suitable for vegetarian's, seafood lovers, and those who required a more substantial southern cuisine such as shrimp and grits (to die for), mac and cheese, bacon, and/or biscuits with gravy. My party loved the variety of sweetbreads, pastries, fresh fruit, fresh cooked vegetables, tossed salad, shrimp on ice, smoked salmon with toppings of your choice on the side, and more. There was an array of small deserts including cobbler, pecan tarts, and chocolate covered strawberries. We have dined at Mimosa for more than fifteen years and the food has been consistently amazing. Your chef outdid himself with this creative menu that looked like a beautiful display for a culinary magazine.
Had the “Father’s Day brunch” for a friends birthday. We were so amazed at all the choices and the quality of food, being as it was buffet style. We were only in charlotte for the weekend but Will definitely visit again if ever in the area! Servers were very polite and attentive.
The stuffed hush puppies were hot and tasty. The rest of our food was awful. Onion rings were cold and tasteless and pizza was room temperature (might have been good if hot). Our waiter really did not seem interested in or to care if the food was bad. Have not been there in years and thought it would be a good anniversary dinner. Very disappointing and likely will not go back.
We enjoyed our dinner, especially the shrimp filled hush puppies! We had a beautiful table by the front window overlooking the courtyard. Restaurant was very busy at 5:30 on a Monday, with several large parties, which contributed to the high noise level. Not so bad to spoil our time, but not a place for private conversation or intimacy. The pork chop was moist and delicious. The steak, ordered medium, came out medium rare, so we sent it back. It was moist and delicious, also. Portion size for the sides were generous, so definitely meant to share. A lovely place for a nice meal in Uptown. Walking distance to Belk Theatre.
Love the Sunday Brunch. The French toast are our favorites. Thanks again for a great meal.
Have eaten here for lunch but didn't realize they had a Sunday brunch. Wonderful selection of hot dishes, as well as, salad, smoked salmon and steamed shrimp. Great food for very reasonable price. Good spot for gathering with friends or celebrating special occasions. Highly recommend!
Dining at Mimosa Grill was a pleasant experience. I had not been there in probably a year and was quite surprised to see that the restaurant hadn't skipped a beat. All of the food and cocktails were great. Looking forward to our next visit.
Food and service was outstanding! The flatbread pizza appetizer was fantastic! Will definitely be back!
Delicious! I’d leave 6 stars if possible. The Sunday brunch buffet was delicious.
The food is amazing! Pricing is a bit high, but worth saving for.
Parts of my meal were very good. But my main course was disappointing
Food was good. Service was terrific.
Tasty food, excellent staff / server service and quick service.
Excellent service and tasty food choices. Entire party enjoyed the buffet selections.
Thank you for taking care of a group of Prom kids - they loved Mimosa Grill !
This was my first experience, and I assure you it will not be my last! This wonderful experience began with a pleasant Hostess who was very friendly and had a beautiful smile. The food was fabulous and our server was awesome. I highly recommend
Great meal . . . . . .my wife and I both ordered the salmon which was wonderful. Had the chocolate dessert which was just enough when we split it two ways. Convenient to the Knight Theatre for our 7:30 pm show!
We have been to mimosas many times before and had a good experience. Things have changed. Menu is limited and veey over priced for quality and quantity. Fried chicken was dark brown and looked liken it was run over. Salmon was good but very small portion for $28. Seems like they want the expenses account crowd. We went before a show.
Had a business lunch. Ambiance by the windows was very nice on a sunny afternoon and the outside seating looked very nice. I had scottish pan seared on succotash.... Delicious. Good size portions, fresh food. I would highly recommend.
Excellent service, baked oysters and Ahi tuna on black rice. Both excellent.
It was good. The waitress i think was very business due to prom but i enjoyed it. She took long to bring our bread and the bill. She was pleasant as well but I’m sure the prom made it a bit difficult to cater us. I’d definitely return.
Food was average and expensive. Limited menu. They seem to cater to large groups. Service was good, but wouldn’t return.
The food was well prepared. It was exactly as we ordered it.
Our server was amazing! Food is always consistent.
Expensive for what you get. Food quality was just so so. Service was mediocre at best.
Very good business lunch
Great lunch. Will definitely return there again.
2 time for brunch it was great
Food was excellent, steaks cooked to perfection.
Excellent in all areas! My wife thinks it may be a best ever dinner experience!
Love this place! The food is always good and the atmosphere is nice.
Fav brunch spot on sundays
The tapas arrived cold. The buffet looked awful. The waitress forgot our mimosas....it’s the name for God sakes!! Then we left! We went across the street to the Famous Toastery. The only thing good about it was the vallet parking.
Not worth it.. Wouldn't do the brunch thing here again.
