Great experience overall
My full review is in trip advisor, but this night was truly terrible for so many reasons, the main one being they closed early and they made my date and I feel unimportant and rushed through the whole night. So disappointed.
Excellent meal, excellent service. Good timing, not rushed but not drawn out. We will definitely return.
Mimosa Grill is definitely a must try. It has been in business for over 25 years and keeps getting better. Our server was Justin and he made the dining experience even better because he’s tried everything on the menu as well as the entire wine list. Thank you Mimosa Grill and Justi.
Wonderful! One of my favorite lunch spots, when I have a business lunch or friends in town, it's always my lunch go-to. The service and food are always on point.
Mimosa Grill is our go-to for game day brunch. The staff is always attentive and the buffet is fresh, hot and well-stocked. The atmosphere is fun and energetic. Make sure you have reservations on game day.
Food was very good. A little pricey for what you get but typical for uptown restaurants in Charlotte. Service was average at best and inconsistent. For the price would recommend other establishments for better service & overall experience.
Great brunch!! Lots of options. The manager was awesome. Valet sucked! Circled the block 3 times and there were no attendees.
The service and food were fantastic. The buffet was unique and food plentiful
Great ambience and view! Sat by the window so we could watch what was happening outside. Server was exceptional! She was friendly, very knowledgeable and helpful with questions/selections.
Crabcakes were fantastic! So fresh and very tasty!
The food was horrible, which was very disappointing
I was hoping they would have done something special since we talked about our anniversary. Something small or really anything would Have been appreciated
The hush puppies!!!!
High prices for average food.
Decided to have lunch and what a great decision!! Started with the Mimosa tea, which was so delicious and refreshing. It was non-alcoholic and just added greatness to the email. Lunch consisted of Deviled Eggs, Low Country Shrimp n' Grits and their Iron Skillet Scottish Salmon. Talk about DELICIOUS!!! I cant wait to go back and indulge in the dinner menu. Thanks for a great lunch!!
A friend and I went to Mimosa Grill before a Panthers game. I highly recommend making a reservation beforehand. They feature a $24 buffet that was excellent. Several proteins to choose from including shirmp, eggs, prime rib, and salmon (smoked and oven roasted). I loved the shrimp and grits and the eggs were definitely fresh, not boxed. They also featured $3 Mimosas which were excellent and not at all watered down completely with orange juice. Our waitress was attentive and kept our glasses full all morning. Mimosa Grill is a short walk to the North and East gates of Bank of America Stadium. Overall, it was the best way to start the day!
I wanted a nice brunch before boarding my flight back home and gave this place a try due to their high ratings. Overall dining experience was great. I sat at the bar and while there was nothing that my server failed to do, he was more focused on providing prompt service throughout and did not bother introducing himself at any point. Had their crabs eggs bene dish and while it was pretty tasty overall, the crab cake mix was a bit too heavy for me. Apparently, it is a Charlotte staple that has been in operation for over 25 years and I plan to return to try their other dishes.
Great brunch before the Panthers game. You will not leave hungry.
Amazing. Everything was delicious and my server was on point. I really enjoyed my first time here and will definitely go again.
I had the charcuterie plate and it was gross! the cheese and meat were tasteless. I had mussels for my entrée and didn't eat all of them. they were not very good. overall, the service was ok but the food was not worth the price. I would not go back.
We went for brunch the food was amazing. Much better than we expected. The grits and shrimp tasted the best, the walnut encrusted french toast was to die for. The variety of food was outstanding. The quality of the buffet food was unbelievable. I almost couldn’t believe I was eating off a buffet. Only an omelet station and flavored mimosa would have made this a better experience.
Our food was cold. There was hair in the food, the glasses were dirty. It was just an overall terrible experience. Management was nice and so was our waitress. The buffet is just not up to par.
Service was amazingly slow. Took almost two hours to eat brunch. Our entrees didn't arrive until we had been there for over an hour. Food was ok, nothing special.
Loved the food... great ambience....
Excellent outdoor seating availability. Appetizers were excellent.
Always great food. The pecan encrusted chicken salad is as perennial favorite.
Service was impeccable but my salad, a Mimosa Grill staple, tasted like the chicken was cooked the day before and left uncovered in the fridge. The server remived it from thebill without me asking.
Best lunch venue uptown in my experience. Great for business meeting also.
We are new to the area and wanted to take 2 of our sons into the city to see it and have a great meal and drinks. Mission accomplished!! All of our food was fabulous...as were the cocktails! Justin was out waiter and we couldn't have asked for a more genuine and perfect server! A++++
Great southern food, but out of sweet tea at noon on a Wednesday. Really. Service was nice, and meal served quickly. Just odd that they had no sweet tea.
Enjoyed our time. Celebrating a birthday. Good food. Good vibes. Good service
The farro was a nice alternative to the standard veggie/vegan options.
Went for Queen Feast..it was a great choice Friendly staff...manager on hand for any conerns. Food and drinks were really good
Phenomenal! I dined at this restaurant with my family and we all selected something different to eat and each dish was amazing and full of flavor. Can’t wait to go back
I have been to Mimosa Grill in the past for the brunch, which is amazing. But this time we decided to go here during restaurant week for a date night. I had a salmon dish that was perfectly cooked and delicious. For our starters I had the pimento cheese dip with hushpuppies, which was a great southern dish, I loved that the pimento cheese was served in a small mason jar for a little bit more of that southern touch. My boyfriend had the meatballs appetizer and those were very flavorful with amazing sauce and crusty bread. The deserts left a little to be desired. The peach cobbler was mostly peach with very little cobbler, which was pretty disappointing. I had the pecan pie with ameretto ice cream, which was good but nothing to write home about. Overall we had a very nice experience. The restaurant has very attentive staff, nice temperature, good lighting, and excellent ambiance. I will definitely return.
We attended during restaurant week and was pleasantly surprised with the menu, many of the items were available with a minimal uncharge.
My mom and I went for restaurant week, great experience and excellent food
We had a time that we needed to leave for a show and our food and drinks did not arrive in time even though we were told that we would be out of there in time. To be fair we lost track of time too. Also, it was the Queen's feast. My salad which was watermelon and feta was good, and my husband got tomato bisque which was fine but not great. I got chicken which was fried and overcooked and dry. It was gigantic served on a piece of white bread spread with honey. My dessert which was pecan pie was served round and was kind of like a hockey puck. I am not sure if because we had to get it to go, part of the dessert was maybe missing. I think it may have been served with ice cream if we got it there. However, the pie part really wasn't good. One thing that was really spectacular was the biscuits. They brought them to the table with some kind of honey butter and I couldn't stop eating them. My husband said his tuna was fine. I rarely go out to eat, so it is disappointing when the food isn't good. I actually never write reviews. I think restaurants can have bad nights but I would think that uptown you would find restaurants of better quality. The server seemed frazzled, so maybe something was going on in the kitchen. You never really know where the breakdown is. I wonder if the Queens Feast made it busier than expected.
We had Charity as a server and she was excellent. The food was good and bellini’s were amazing!
