Absolutely the best meal we had in Charlotte during The Queen’s Feast Restaurant Week. Service was outstanding!
Enjoyed a delicious meal with fantastic service. Our waitress was friendly and attentive and, although we were never in need of anything, the assistant manager on duty was always accessible and quick to offer his service if needed. Would definitely recommend this restaurant and will absolutely visit again!
Very good but apptisers came out long before drinks. Other than that great
It was a great option for date night , could see the water fountains and the food was fantastic.
Gluten free choclate cake? YES SIR!
The waiter was knowledgeable on ingredients but very willing to check and verify. You cant ask for more from the chef or staff.
Being resteraunt week it was a bit loud but not overly so. We will most definitely return again and again!
Always good food and outstanding service, can never go wrong with Mimosa Grill.
Great experience! Superb service and the food was divine. Highly recommend!
We had a spectacular dinner meeting, the BEST bone-in pork chop I have ever eaten. Penny was our server and she was awesome, and funny. I've eaten there before and it's always been good.....this one was the TOPS
The Mimosa Grill's Sunday Brunch buffet was excellent. The food quality, service, and overall value made our experience most enjoyable. My wife and I tried many of the selections and I enjoyed the roast beef, peel and eat shrimp, and poached salmon the best.
Used to be great but has gone way downhill. My fish was extremely undercooked. Underwhelming overall
New Years Eve: we had a quiet table and a diligent server. Ordered the “tasting menu” which was really a prie fixe menu. Salads were zesty. Scallops and filet main courses were perfectly cooked and well seasoned. Really enjoyed them. The Elk Cove Pinot Noir was a good pairing for both mains. Desserts were great too—a chocolate creation and a carrot cake. MG is a longtime favorite of ours and we are always satisfied.
Lovely dinner before the New Year's Eve concert. Wonderful food and excellent service.
Great Sunday brunch options with small plates too!
Great brunch! Made reservations, but due to panther game had to wait for a table in the dining room. Overall fantastic.
We were visiting from New Orleans to watch the Panthers get their butts beat on MNF(which they did) and had dinner here before the game. Drinks and food were great and service was awesome. If ever in town again will be going back. Thanks for a great pregame celebration. 🖤💛
We had a lovely Saturday brunch at Mimosa Grill. A very comfortable restaurant. We started with a bellini and mimosa and enjoyed their buttermilk grits. Service was excellent. A great place in downtown Charlotte.
We went for dinner on a snowy night in Charlotte, so it was not busy. We did have a reservation and they placed us in a beautiful spot where we had a great street view. The staff was friendly and attentive. The food was delicious, and they had some good beers and wines... actually a great wine list by the glass.
I have only one complaint, but it is a significant one. We went for an evening meal to enjoy each others company and have a leisurely meal. We ordered a before dinner drink and an appetizer. When the appetizer arrived, we ordered out main courses. Before we had JUST finished our appetizer and were looking at the wine list to order a bottle of wine with dinner, and the main courses came out. Needless to say, we didn't bother with the bottle of wine. I HATE being rushed for dinner, especially when there were a hundred empty tables. I expect that kind of behavior at a small town, low cost cafe or restaurant. I would have thought Charlotte dining establishments have figured out that when people go out for dinner at 8 pm, they are not looking to rush through it.
Will I go back? Absolutely, because the food really was good, and everything else was great. The prices aren't too bad, so yeah, I'll go back, but I won't be ordering my main course until after I finish the appetizer.
Food was very good and a decent value, but it took forever to get our order and the restaurant was virtually empty on a Friday evening around 8
Mimosa Grill never disappoints!
We have been coming there for almost 20 years and it is always delicious and the service is impeccable. Love the atmosphere, inside and out.
We had a nice evening - food was good, service was good. The menu is rather limited, not a lot of choices. My martini was clearly watered down. There's no need to do this, particularly when one considers how much a mixed drinks cost these days. Disappointing.
We arrived to a beautiful restaurant setting, with a nice city view and water fountain sculptures outside the large wall of windows We ordered 2 glasses of wine, and we were lucky if they had 4 ounces pours in each glass! Usually most restaurants give at least a 6 ounce pour, and we have dined out in many different cities and countries as well. We should have sent them back, but we carried on with ordering since we were going to a show and had to stay on schedule. The portions were on the smaller side for anything we ordered from salads to dinner entrees. However, the price point on everything was very high for what we felt was average food , and not not exceptional to pay more for. The menu selections were very few, and that was also surprising. The service was excellent, but overall a thumbs down.
The Sunday brunch is amazing and never disappoints. Great place to dine before Panthers games. Dinner at Mimosa is also delicious.
We decided to not cook this year and enjoy someone else doing that for us. Well for $44.95 pp, I just knew it was going to be somewhat good. We had to make a reservation but when we get there on time, we still had to wait 30mins just to be seated. Finally seated and I tell my family go first, they come back with Blonde hair in their food! 🤦🏽♀️ Like wth, so we let the waitress know and she did apologize and bought fresh food but by then the appetites were depleting. Everybody wasn’t as enthusiastic about it by then. It was what it was. We left after paying $121.00 and was still hungry 😒😒 I really had high expectations for them since they are downtown.
Overpriced Thanksgiving buffet. Service was exceptional. Food was not nearly as good as past years. Turkey breast tasted like processed meat and the beef was over salted. Mini pumpkin pies were tasteless and pastry was moist. Not a good experience. Highly disappointing.
We went for the Thanksgiving buffet. The restaurant is dated and the food was set up in an outdoor tented area instead of inside. Therefore most of it was cold. The ham was mostly fat & gristle and the buffet line was over 20 minutes long. Our table was near the area that became the end of the line so we dealt w/ people standing around us for the entire meal. This was nowhere near the $45 / head they were charging and we will not be back again.
Attentive staff, warm elegant ambiance. The name ‘grill’ may mislead you- it’s bistro comfort food with a Southern flair. Wine list is not long but has plenty of options. We’ve eaten there before and will go back again
Great experience overall
Two of 3 meals were spot on. The third - flank steak was under cooked. Our fault we were In a hurry to get to the Knight Theater and didn’t say anything... waitress also forgot to bring a glass of wine, remembering only when we were almost finished with dinner....
My full review is in trip advisor, but this night was truly terrible for so many reasons, the main one being they closed early and they made my date and I feel unimportant and rushed through the whole night. So disappointed.
Excellent meal, excellent service. Good timing, not rushed but not drawn out. We will definitely return.
Mimosa Grill is definitely a must try. It has been in business for over 25 years and keeps getting better. Our server was Justin and he made the dining experience even better because he’s tried everything on the menu as well as the entire wine list. Thank you Mimosa Grill and Justi.
Wonderful! One of my favorite lunch spots, when I have a business lunch or friends in town, it's always my lunch go-to. The service and food are always on point.
Mimosa Grill is our go-to for game day brunch. The staff is always attentive and the buffet is fresh, hot and well-stocked. The atmosphere is fun and energetic. Make sure you have reservations on game day.
Food was very good. A little pricey for what you get but typical for uptown restaurants in Charlotte. Service was average at best and inconsistent. For the price would recommend other establishments for better service & overall experience.
Great brunch!! Lots of options. The manager was awesome. Valet sucked! Circled the block 3 times and there were no attendees.
The service and food were fantastic. The buffet was unique and food plentiful
Great ambience and view! Sat by the window so we could watch what was happening outside. Server was exceptional! She was friendly, very knowledgeable and helpful with questions/selections.
Crabcakes were fantastic! So fresh and very tasty!
The food was horrible, which was very disappointing
I was hoping they would have done something special since we talked about our anniversary. Something small or really anything would Have been appreciated
The hush puppies!!!!
