Food and our sever Jim were great. Made for a nice evening.
I can't say enough about the experience... The food, service, atmosphere, the entire experience was a delight. I sincerely believe that Valentine's Day at the Milwaukee ChopHouse will become a tradition for my girlfriend and I. Candidly, I can't imagine how the night could have gone any better... Thank you for exceeding my expectations, we had a wonderful time... Looking forward to coming back.

My group had a diverse portion of the menu--steaks, seared tuna salad, crab-stuffed prawns, au gratin potatoes and brussel sprouts. All diners loved their meals and the sides. Our server was attentive, helpful and knowledgeable. Wine is priced at 2.5 times retail, which isn't unusual, but we found a reasonably priced Malbec that was delicious. Cocktails were creative and tasty.
We enjoyed the Valentines dinner for two. The food was exceptional and the service from Kaitlyn was even better.
Young and inexperienced, the Server should have been able to explain the Valentine Menu better.
The service is truly great and the bone in ribeye is very tender and flavorful. Steaks were cooked perfectly.
When you're paying the prices you do for the steak you would expect it to be perfect. While cooked properly very dry and was just okay. Was hoping for so much more.
Classy setting, great menu choices, and Lelani our server was knowledgeable, funny, friendly, and super helpful.
Great steakhouse with nice seafood options. Our go to steak house in Milwaukee.
It was amazing I proposed at my favorite restaurant. The place I went to when I graduated. Awesome experience everytime.
Great service, delicious food and elegant atmosphere!
The service was everything you should expect at a fine dining restaurant and then some. Terri was absolutely phenomenal, professional, yet personable. The food was prepared exactly the way it was requested. We look forward to returning to the Chop House in the future as this establishment holds a specials place in our hearts as my wife and I got engaged here back in 2011. Mr. Shariff is the type of management personnel every restaurant should strive to acquire. The Chop House is HIGHLY recommended for an impeccable steak dining experience for any occasion.
Server did everything she could to help, but entree's took significantly too long. Quality of food was very underwhelming for the prices.
We made reservations and was seated right away. Waitress was nice, food was good. I have no complaints. Overall we had a very nice experience.
While this visit was not up to what we have been used to, at least as far as food rating, we will continue to visit and recommend to friends. In this case, the prime rib was very inferior, overly fatty and virtually raw. Very disappointed. Our waitress Caitlin was superior!
We have eaten here about nine or ten times. Have never been disappointed. Service, food, and ambience have never been less than a ten.
The waitress we had was the bomb, very nice and respectful. Food was amazing.
My daughter and I tried the Chophouse for the first time. We had a relatively early (600pm) reservation on a Saturday night. I had asked for a side table in a quieter part of the restaurant not knowing how it is laid out or noise levels. We were given a nice booth that while not tucked away was perfect for conversation. In fact the restaurant does very well for noise levels. Not so quiet that you feel like you are in church but also not bar level crazy.
Our server Terri was wonderful as were her associates. As others have written quietly attentive. Terri explained all of the specials and answered a few questions about our choices and was spot in in her recommendations. Very professional.
My daughter had the filet which she loved. Cooked perfectly to medium rare the 10oz is normally too much for her but she ate almost the whole thing it tasted so good to her. She started with the calamari which she really liked but it did not come with any sauce for dipping. Terri brought a beurre blank that was fine.
I had the beet salad and a bone in ribeye. It was closer to medium than medium rare which I requested but nevertheless was quite tasty. Along with the steaks we ordered a three-side option choosing the Brussel sprouts a potatoes gratin and polenta. This worked out well as usually there is too much to eat and the servings were just right for the two of us.
For dessert my daughter and I both had the creme brûlée. Done perfectly. A nice cap to a great evening.
There are lots of steak choices in Milwaukee and many are quite good. This one ranks up there with the best in the city. The atmosphere and spacing of tables allows you to have a nice private conversation without feeling like you are in top of each other. The restaurant clearly cares about the food and the service making this a very nice place to entertain for business or for fun. Highly recommended.
Great place, great food, great staff!
Excellent steak. One of the better ones I've had. Sides were a little small but good. Service was excellent!
I enjoyed it, great place for a group or date for two. We had a good time, were able to have a conversation without competing against others.
The dinner was so good I am STILL thinking about it. I had the handmade fettuccini and it did not disappoint. Our server, Katelyn, was incredibly kind and fun and made our anniversary great. Thank you!
Lobster bisque had no flavor and my Ribeye was grisly. Definitely not worth the price. For $50 the steak should have been perfect.
Awesome restaurant! Attentive staff, very responsive to requests made when I placed my online reservations. Close to downtown theatres.
The service and dining experience was very good. The food taste and quality was mediocre, certainly not worth the price. Compared to other dining options available in Milwaukee, I won’t be back.
It was New Year’s Eve and we were rushed and food came out to fast. Felt like I was being rushed during our dinner. Food warm not hot. Very disappointed
Went for New Years Eve dinner with my husband. Love the ambience. Service was great. The Waygu beef carpaccio was great. The problem- my lobster was over cooked and way too salty. Did I send it back, no. Would I order it again, no. My husbands steak was good.
Great food and service! We ordered lobster Mac and cheese as a side and loved it! Steaks and lobster were amazing!
Great all around!
Outstanding as usual. Great lamb rib chops, sea bass, lobster and of course steaks!
Food was great and our service was outstanding. Our waitress was SO well informed and definitely loved her job.
steaks not prepared properly, sent back RAW three times
Amazing food perfect service with great recommendations!
Awesome service and wonderful steaks - I love crispy outside!
Food was very good however the chef used pepper on everything. Our Caesar salads were loaded with pepper...we all had steak and each steak was loaded with pepper. The steaks were not ordered au poivre but they all came out that way. It made the meat spicy hot. Other than that the dinner was very good. I would go back just make sure they cut back on the pepper !
good food, my steak was prime NY strip but not the best strip I've eaten but still tasty. The sides were good, nothing remarkable but certainly good
The food was outstanding! One of the best filet's I've had. Drinks were very good, ambience was nice. I can't wait to go back.
Our waiter Marco was very attentive and pleasant. Booth was very cozy and comfortable. Valet parking attnedant was very professional and competent.
We were very underwhelmed with the menu and quality of food for the price. I ordered a New York strip prepared Medium. It was delivered Medium Well and was like chewing shoe leather. To their credit, the manager and server were very helpful in offering to fix it right away and bring another cut; however, at that point, I didn't have much of an appetite for steak. My husband ordered scallops, and they were fine, but the portions were very small. We split the "trio of sides" and while the food was fine, it certainly wasn't memorable. We noted on the reservation that we were celebrating our anniversary, and they surprised us with dessert and champagne. Again, the service was lovely. Overall, this wasn't a true steak house with inspired food, it was a hotel restaurant with flavors you'd expect from a hotel establishment. The service and attention from the staff was great and much appreciated. The menu needs much work.
Outstanding. Excellent food and we needed quick service due to Bucks game and they did great.
