Wow. Business dinner, coworker and customers. Everybody was very pleased. I only tasted mine (boneless strip), so my review is "best steak I've had in years". Had bearnaise sauce as well, but mostly didn't need it - the steak was too good without any additions.
Excellent steakhouse with a traditional supper club casual feel. Alaskan crab legs were amazing.
Steaks were good for the price I had the 18oz ribeye she had a dry aged NY strip. Sides were good ambience was on point. Me and my girl were the only minorities but we didn't feel any discrimination other than the waiter assuming I would pay for a 150 dollar meal with cash guess I give off that dope boy vibe lol it was cool I would go back. The flatbread was trash too it lacked compassion in its preparation.
We were celebrating a night of uninterrupted conversation. My friend took our kids overnight so me and the hubs could spend some quality time together. Mitch was our waiter and he could not have been better. The food was wonderful - I had a filet and my date had the bone-in ribeye- both were cooked to perfection and were well seasoned - did not disappoint! I do wish we would have picked the green beans over the Brussels sprouts - they were just a bit too bitter for my taste, but loved the mushrooms and twice baked potato!
We shared an horchata sorbet - it wasn’t my favorite - I should have gone for the key lime pie in hindsight! Would definitely recommend for a visit!

All in all the staff did a nice job. We had to endure a very loud table (one person) who felt it appropriate to be very load and very flamboyant.

impeccable steaks! we enjoyed the French onion soup and chop salad to start. Our main courses were wonderful, steaks cooked perfectly. Side dishes were very good. Lobster mac my fav.

This is our favorite place for a steak. We enjoyed the food except for the asparagus that was under cooked my wife thought. She advised the server and we assumed he would take that off the bill. At the end of dinner I got the bill and it was not removed from the check. I did not mention anything at the time. Otherwise everything else was great.
Second time visiting the Chop House. Nothing changed. Very good all around and always satisfied with service and meal. Great for special occasions and dates!
Always, always, excellent service and wonderful food. Had the bone-in rib-eye and it was quite tasty. Plenty of side dishes - family style. The only negative is if you have a shellfish allergy, there are not many appetizer selections. Maybe they could work on a Bacon appetizer of some sort.
Had a very nice dinner. Booth near door but was perfect and a bit quieter. Food excellent. Had a bottle of Girad wine. We had the Farmers and Caesar salad. Tuna Crudo appetizer was excellent with lots of Tuna. We split the bone-in ribeye with 3 large scallops added for an extra $12. Brussels sprouts were interesting. Finished off with the chocolate cake. Yum. We be back for special occasions.
Went to the bar for a cocktail before sitting down for dinner. There didnt seem to be anyone bar tending, waited 10 minutes for someone to show up. They seemed to be rushed and under staffed, not much follow up after receiving our food. Food was ok, nothing special.
Overall satisfied with our dining experience. Aged steaks were delicious, along with the trio of sides.

While the service was very good, from the moment we sat at the bar for a pre-dinner drink, through desert, and the atmosphere is very warm and comfortable, the food was a disappointment. Except for the bread (and the interesting selection of butters and spreads) and desert, we were underwhelmed by the steaks we had (bone-in and boneless filet) and the over seasoned/garlic spinach. Even the potato was sad. I thought the Chop House would really excel in the steak and sides. Probably will not return to the Chop House.
Although I have dined at the Chop House before, this visit was especially memorable. The crispy kale (chips) delicious, the salmon flavorful, the chicken got great reviews and the service was excellent. The sautéed spinach was cooked to perfection. I would definitely go back and try new entrees.
Steaks were fabulous. One of the best we have ever had. Service was impeccable. Our server was professional, hospitable, & knowledgeable on the menu in offering suggestions. General Manager was warm & pleasant in conversating with us about our experience.

From the time we walked in the door it was just a great experience. Very professional server and we had three steaks that were all different requested temperature and they were cooked perfectly. Of course as expected, the wine list suited the meals well. Could have a bit larger dessert menu but everything else was 5 star. Will go back!
We were in town for a volleyball tournament and staying at the team’s hotel at the Hilton - decided to grab a quick dinner here and it was exceptional. What a wonderful treat - delicious food, quick and impeccable service and nice ambiance. Worth every penny!
The steaks were amazing, cooked perfectly to our order. Sides were also good. My boyfriend and I each had a petite filet and shared a trio of sides and it was the perfect amount of food. Our server was very pleasant and professional and came to the table at the right times without interrupting our conversation. If you are looking for an amazing steak dinner, I would definitely recommend the Chop House.
My wife and I both had steaks and they were done perfectly, we'll be back again.
A delightful evening prior to a show at the Pabst theatre. Elegant dining by friendly professional staff made the delicious steak dinner an evening to remember. Our first trip to Milwaukee, this restaurant was on our “things to do”list and we are so glad it lived up to expectations.
Usually they are spot on, but they had some kitchen difficulties this visit. First and foremost to the staff were all fantastic, and the problems I had work quickly resolved personally by the manager. This is certainly not a bad review and I will visit again but I always leave honest reviews.

Cold crab cakes, immediately corrected.
Sea bass was VERY good.
Filet Mignon was cool to touch, cooked to medium. Must have sat waiting on the fish. It was immediately corrected by the waiter and the manager apologized. When the state came back hot it was cooked perfectly and tasted very good. I Visit every year so I’m looking forward to my next trip back to Milwaukee to try again. Thank you to the manager for handling the kitchen issue.
The wait staff great. Food is excellent. It is 3 hours from home. we try to get there couple times a year.

What can I say.... The service was impeccable. The food was quite delicious. And the overall atmosphere was upbeat and ecliptic. Right after we arrived a couple had just become engaged to be married! Cheers and clapping from all the tables was just the perfect mood elevator to start our dinner. I had the Sirloin steak and my date had the scallops! Both were mouth watering. Thinking about it now makes my mouth water. The twice baked potato is a must. we shared the beet salad which was extremely tasty. And the Creme Brulee! Well! To die for! Great place to see and be seen. Strongly suggest giving Milwaukee ChopHouse a try. -Dan

Food was delicious, but a bit overpriced.
Service was terrible, and the restaurant wasn't full or busy. Our waiter was rude to us, food was not cooked to temperature and we had to hail down food runners to get more drinks.
Plus, gratuity was automatically included for a table of 6 even though we ordered and paid as 3 separate couples.

Short: Nice ambiance, friendly restaurant staff, yummy bread/condiments/salads. All other food was heavily laden with garlic - unfortunate and disappointing. Arrived at 7 for 7:15 reservations, seated at 7:15 - perfect. Went to the small bar for a pre-dinner drink and waited 8 min. to order when only 4 couples present; had just a few sips of beer before seating. Seated at a large table for just the two of us: semi-private, nice booth with wrap around bench seat. Quickly acknowledged by serving staff. Waiter gave us about 5 min. to view menu and we asked for a little more time - then it took about 10 minutes for his return (a bit long). The sourdough rolls were great, and the blue cheese butter was awesome! The seasonal poached pear salad was excellent, as was the Cesar salad. I ordered the 6 oz filet MR and hubby ordered the 14 oz dry-aged rib-eye M. Both steaks were beautiful - perfectly cooked, nice flavors, tender, etc. Not sure if the garlic was right in the steaks, because after one bite of a side dish, my taste buds were out of commission. We ordered three sides to share (incredibly generous portions!): garlic mashed potatoes (for hubby only), lobster mac & cheese, and sauteed mushrooms. Garlic mashed were standard fare, a bit thin and over-garlicky. Mushrooms were almost wonderful (if not for the heavy garlic). The lobster m&c would have been a stand-out without the offensive garlic: huge chunks of wonderful lobster, al dente curly macaroni and a nice cheese sauce - but who puts garlic in m&c??? Yuck! Their menu should come with a warning that all sides are heavy on garlic so folks can order food without the horrible stuff! Plenty of leftovers, but only hubby could eat them the next day and even he chose to toss the potatoes and mushrooms, eating just leftover steak and m&c. I felt funky all evening and all the next day due to the garlic overdose that killed what could have been an extraordinary meal. Would return only if food can be prepared garlic-free.

Our group went for dinner after seeing the TSO concert. Great atmosphere, food was to die for, and our server, Sarah was outstanding. Perfect ending to the evening.
I had ordered a large prime rib, cooked medium rare. It came in the smaller cut size. I requested it be replaced with the appropriate size cut of meat. It came back the appropriate size but was now rare and cool to the touch. Worst of all, however, the meat was tough.
The service was spotty at best. The waiter was not attentive to us, having to be hailed to our table on several occasions. He failed to bring a second glass of wine as requested, as well as forgetting to validate our parking stub as he had promised. To his credit, the waiter did give us a free dissert, but by that time it was too late to resurrect an overall disappointing dining experience.
Was late for my reservation, due to the show being late and the roads. Understandable, when they told me 15-20 minutes and sit at the bar. Sat at the bar, and ordered 1 drink and the bartenders never even said another word to us. We were the only 2 at the bar at the time. The 2 bartenders were not busy. I guess it saved me 10.50 for another Old Fashion. After about an hour an older couple came in and said they didn't have reservations and wanted to know if they could sit down for dinner, since they were staying at the hotel. They got seated, and we got up and left. I realize we were late, but this was ridiculous. I cant rate food since i have not eaten there in a while
