   I ordered the salmon, which was delicious, but the prime rib (usually the most tender of steaks) was tough and full of sinew. The server and manager offered to replace it, but we didn't care to wait. The service was amazing and I'm sure the tough steak was a one-off.

   Terri was the best server and made our experience so enjoyable! The food was incredible and the service was beyond amazing, it was busy but very quiet. We had a lovely and special birthday dinner and can’t wait to come back! Highly recommend!

    The food was good but it is premium priced a la carte, so you will spend a bunch of money. We had the 6 ounce filets. My spouse loved hers I enjoyed mine well enough. We had three sides: potato’s asparagus and mushrooms and they all were great. We had the shrimp cocktail too. It was my wife’s bday and they offered crème brûlée. She chose carrot cake instead. They gifted that to her so that was appreciated. The service was outstanding!! It was a great time.

    Went for a date night. It was nice but not great. We paid $70 for a steak, it didn’t seem like a great cut of meat and the preparation was underwhelming. It is the lobby of the Hilton- lots of foot traffic and families, it detracts from the ambiance of the chophouse. For the money, we’ll be going to any of the other great steakhouses in the city.

    The food was excellent and the service was spot on. I wish I could give it 4.9999 stars. The only factor that didn’t make it a 5.0, in my opinion, was the noise coming from outside the restaurant. Being near the hotel lobby, there was some extras noise at times because the doors were closed, but not excessive. EXCELLENT overall. We will add it to our return list!

    The French onion soup was outstanding. The 1/2 off wine Wednesday was a nice draw. The carrot cake was very delicious. For $60, I thought the steak was average, - not great, not bad. The sides we had, mushrooms and lobster Mac were very good,

    Everything about the Chophouse was suburb. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable about the meal options. Everything came to the table perfectly timed. The food was well prepared and delicious It was a great evening.

    We took advantage of their Valentine's Day special offer with a choice of one appetizer, 2 salad/soup choices, 2 entree choices, the trio of vegetables and one choice of desert all for $150. The appetizer we had were the Crab Cakes and were good, but the corn relish served with them was outstandingly good. We had a Caeser Salad and the Wedge Salad. The Caesar was very tasty, and a nice wafer sliced parmesan added to the depth of the salad. The Blue Cheese Wedge Salad was fantastic. It was served on a 1/3 of a romaine lettuce head, which was a nice twist on the classic presentation. The dressing was very rich and creamy (aka. awesome.) We both choose the Filet with Shrimp as the entree, and both were cooked to perfection. The shrimp were seasoned just right! The sides were good along with the deserts.. This was the busiest we have seen this restaurant, but the service was still outstanding. Megan (our server) was personable, interactive and attentive. We live in Madison, and we will be back again (as always.)

    When ordering a $60 steak and a $55 steak with three sides plus salads, I would expect the food to at least be warm. My husband sent his steak back to be warmed. I ate mine cold. The mashed potatoes were cold. I asked to have my salad without blue cheese. They took it back into the kitchen and remade it with blue cheese again. The server must have mentioned it to the manager who came by to tell me the salad is always made with blue cheese. There was no apology. Just a comment of she hoped we enjoyed the rest of the meal. They served the coffee in a glass carafe which does not hold the heat and the restaurant was extremely cold and ouncomfortable thus the coffee had no chance of staying warm. $186 for dinner plus tip. Not worth it. Too many good steak places around to have this type of service. We won’t be back.

    Date night for me and my husband. The customer service from the host to the table service was perfect. We were well attended too and the wine recommendation from Kelly, our server, was perfect with the meal. The food was delicious and we didn’t even have room left for dessert. I love that they have options other than cakes and pies on the dessert menu. I highly recommend this dining experience.

    I highly recommend Milwaukee Chop House. I took my husband here for his birthday and it did not disappoint. The food was fantastic, the portions were HUGE and the staff was top notch. Chop House is located inside a beautiful hotel downtown. Next time we will stay there overnight. We will for sure be back.

    Culinary dream!! The filet and prime rib were top choice quality, you could cut them with a butter knife. Sides were extremely generous and tasty. To top off the evening, we were surprised with a piece of Carmel pecan cheesecake that was fabulous. We were celebrating my sisters birthday. We all highly recommend this restaurant.

    Celebrating sons bday… great meal and good service. They did nothing special for his birthday and did not even acknowledge it even though it was noted on the reservation. Spent approximately $300 for 4 people to eat.

    Went to ChopHouse for Christmas Eve. Both of us had the scallops which were prepared to perfection. My husband also had the steak which he loved. I had the bisque which was well accepted with crab pieces. Husband loved the mushroom side which was quite large, enough to bring home. The marbled potatoes could have used more spice. Dessert was magnificent, we shared the cheesecake with caramel and spiced pecans. It was amazing! We ordered one to share and it was plenty. We were both stuffed but it was so good we just kept eating it just really took our time to enjoy it with our coffees. The staff was very warm and generous and we were comfortable finishing our meal. Never felt rushed. The noise level was minimal even though several tables were occupied. We could speak to each other comfortably. It was a wonderful evening and we will be returning.

    We had 5pm for dinner on Christmas Eve which is when the restaurant opened so most tables were empty and it was quiet in the restaurant. The service and quality of the food were excellent.

    We very much liked the decor, the entire staff was great. Every member wanted to make sure we had an enjoyable time. The sea bass was cooked perfectly. I have never had such a wonderful crispy light crust before. Every food item was delicious. Even the brussel sprouts, which I normally do not care for. My wife and I are in agreement on the above.
