Food is fantastic. Just took a long time to come out. We ended up taking our last course to go because our child had been sitting there for 90 minutes at that point.
My birthday dinner sponsored by Miltons. Great Special Codfish menu with service to match. “12” !! Well worth a visit.
Although we have lived near for 30 years, we have never been to Milton’s. The coupons we received on the mail were very nice and we will definitely return soon.
Great wait staff, friendly, informative, pleasant
We had a reservation for 8:15p, but there was a short wait due the the rainy weather. Other than that
First time we’ve sat inside. Our section was loud and busy. But the food was great!
My wife and I love visiting this place the menu provides plenty of options to pick from. The food is always good and the cocktails are always a delight. Milton’s always makes you feel welcome.
We went because of recommendations from friends. Our experience exceeded our expectations. From the valet, to the hostess to our server and all, it was exceptional. Will definitely be back.
Great overall everything, fast service, hot food, cold drinks, valet parking. Food was outstanding! Will be back
TO MAKE THIS A WORTHWHILE VENUE, THE CHAIRS NEED TO BE REPLACED OR AT THE VERY LEAST HAVE CUSHIONS ADDED AND THE GRAVEL PARKING LOT PAVED. ALSO THE NOISE LEVEL IS TOO HIGH.
First time dining here, went for dinner with a friend. Service was incredible. We were catching up and our server was professional and attentive but unobtrusive and let us chat without being bothered. Food was amazing. Will absolutely be back!
Excellent service. Very attentive. Food was excellent!
David was superb. He made it fun and inviting to be there on a Tuesday night. There weren't many people inside so it was nice to have the dining room to ourselves, essentially. It was my mother-in-law's birthday and he made her feel very special the entire evening. She loved the bread and brought her a loaf (it was going to be tossed at the end of the night anyway). I got the blackened salmon and shame on me for not reading all the way through but the grits were too peppery for me (veggie peppers not black pepper). And I didn't realize it came on top of spinach, too. Both would have been fine had the peppers not taken over the taste of the grits and spinach. David took note of my lack of missing sides and discounted my meal - which was unnecessary but greatly appreciated! He came out with birthday dessert and a dessert for my husband and I to share so MIL could have her own. He went above and beyond for us. We made sure he was taken care of. Being a server myself, I appreciate the lengths he went to to make sure we were well taken care of. My husband and I celebrate our anniversary there every year and we had our rehearsal dinner there in August of 2015. So Milton's holds a very special place in our hearts. We miss Gary but David is a SUPERB replacement.
Another great experience at Milton’s!
It was for my wife’s birthday and it was fantastic. Everything from the hostess, service and food were wonderful! Highly recommended.
Food and setting was amazing. The bourbon bacon drink and the lobster dip out of this world. Service was good but expected better for the price of dining. Will be back for sure.
The stuffed goat cheese fried green tomato Benedict’s were the best I’ve ever had. Service was outstanding!
Everything was perfect
They gave us a free appetizer, the sweet potato and shrimp fritters. They were delicious. The pork and brussels were the best combination. Great over all experience
Overall, great experience. Wish they would list bourbons and whiskeys on menu along with beer and wine.
Our waiter, David, was fabulous! We enjoyed sitting in the open-air porch! Very pleasant evening!!
Outdoor area was fabulous
We had a wonderful time celebrating my Father’s birthday at Milton’s this weekend. To start, Our waiter David was very charismatic, he was knowledgeable about menu and he was mindful that we had kids and adults at the table and made suggestions accordingly. The food was outstanding. Everyone enjoyed their meals, even my kids who tend to be picky eaters. This was a first time for all of us at Milton’s and we definitely will be back!
One of our favorite places. Great food, beautiful old house, amazing service
Overall the food was fine but the steak for our "Celebrity" was undercooked and a little tough to eat. Service was good, as usual.
Excellent as always. Was there for my wife’s birthday, with a group of 12. The service was excellent...very attentive. Our group had the Delmonico steak, the southern fried chicken, and scallops, among others. All raved about their entrees...was told the scallops were a little spicy. The brussel sprouts and deviled eggs were great. We brought our own wine, and did get charged the $25 corkage fee, but that was ok as they decanted our bottles and served.
As always-a wonderful experience!!
Very nice restaurant, good food. Make sure you walk to their garden, it’s spectacular.
80th Birthday for my father.
Milton high school graduation dinner. Big Mike, the waiter, was an exceptional waiter. Great service and food.
Excellent food and service couldn’t have been better. The steak with crab was absolutely awesome!!
Food and service were excellent. The steak was perfectly seasoned and cooked!
Food and service as always was great but the air conditioning needs to be upgraded.
First time at Miltons. We thoroughly enjoyed it! Food was exceptional and wait staff was excellent as well. We will definitely be going back, and we are bringing friends!
We were celebrating our 37th wedding anniversary. We had a nice table out on the porch and received excellent service from Parkes. We especially enjoyed the shrimp fritters, the green and grain salad, the meatloaf, and the surprise special dessert!
Started our evening in the bar area waiting for our table. Service was quick and the drinks were great. For Mother's Day, there was a fixed menu of choices, all quite good including desert. Our service throughout was very good. Food arrived promptly.
Decent overall experience, server was polished and accommodating, but when I got the bill I️ noticed I️ had been charged $21 each for two Manhattans. They were made with a Highwest rye that runs about $45/bottle. This is a $12 drink anywhere else. Not cool. Getting that bill at the end of the night wasn’t the best way to end that evening.
The family went for Mother’s Day dinner. We had a great time, food was wonderful, our service was great. We all talked about how much we would like to come back and have dinner on the back patio area as the sun is setting. I would suggest everyone give it a try!
Food was amazing!! My wife ordered the fried chicken breast and was glad she did; it was delicious. I ordered the salmon.I’v never had a better salmon dish.....it also was delicious. Service was outstanding, Ron did a great job. We believe Milton’s is an excellent place to dine.
Mother’s Day brunch was wonderful. Milton’s never disappoints.
Mother's Day brunch was disappointing. $35/person. Coffee was three bucks extra!
The preset menu was limited. First course I had the yogurt and granola which was mostly just yogurt and the yogurt was bitter/tart.
2nd course I opted for the French toast. The sweetness that was missing from the yogurt was doubled down on the French toast. It was soooo sweet and they used what appeared to be 2 ends of a loaf...
Third course was the worst carrot cake I've ever had. I'm not sure how anyone can mess up carrot cake but they did.
Portions were small.
Lots of small, noisy children.
One in a high chair was permitted by her parents to bag on plates with a spoon.
