Food and service as always was great but the air conditioning needs to be upgraded.
We were celebrating our 37th wedding anniversary. We had a nice table out on the porch and received excellent service from Parkes. We especially enjoyed the shrimp fritters, the green and grain salad, the meatloaf, and the surprise special dessert!
First time at Miltons. We thoroughly enjoyed it! Food was exceptional and wait staff was excellent as well. We will definitely be going back, and we are bringing friends!
Started our evening in the bar area waiting for our table. Service was quick and the drinks were great. For Mother's Day, there was a fixed menu of choices, all quite good including desert. Our service throughout was very good. Food arrived promptly.
Decent overall experience, server was polished and accommodating, but when I got the bill I️ noticed I️ had been charged $21 each for two Manhattans. They were made with a Highwest rye that runs about $45/bottle. This is a $12 drink anywhere else. Not cool. Getting that bill at the end of the night wasn’t the best way to end that evening.
The family went for Mother’s Day dinner. We had a great time, food was wonderful, our service was great. We all talked about how much we would like to come back and have dinner on the back patio area as the sun is setting. I would suggest everyone give it a try!
Food was amazing!! My wife ordered the fried chicken breast and was glad she did; it was delicious. I ordered the salmon.I’v never had a better salmon dish.....it also was delicious. Service was outstanding, Ron did a great job. We believe Milton’s is an excellent place to dine.
Mother’s Day brunch was wonderful. Milton’s never disappoints.
Mother's Day brunch was disappointing. $35/person. Coffee was three bucks extra!
The preset menu was limited. First course I had the yogurt and granola which was mostly just yogurt and the yogurt was bitter/tart.
2nd course I opted for the French toast. The sweetness that was missing from the yogurt was doubled down on the French toast. It was soooo sweet and they used what appeared to be 2 ends of a loaf...
Third course was the worst carrot cake I've ever had. I'm not sure how anyone can mess up carrot cake but they did.
Portions were small.
Lots of small, noisy children.
One in a high chair was permitted by her parents to bag on plates with a spoon.
We have dined at Milton's several times and always had a good experience. We were excited to bring my folks there for their anniversary. Unfortunately, we were really disappointed with the meal. My father ordered the rib-eye and I'm fairly certain he was given an entirely different cut of meat. It tasted more like a strip steak - and it was dry and over-cooked. I ordered the Milton's Signature Steak, which is supposedy Wagyu flank steak. I don't normally order flank steak but thought I'd give it a shot. Figured it's Wagyu, it should be good. I'm not one to complain about my meal, but this steak was rubbery and over-cooked. I'm still not convinced it's even Wagyu. I didn't end up eating it and our server (who was good, btw) took it off the bill. He did offer to get me something else but at that point it was late and we needed to get our 3 year old home. My wife's pasta dish (the daily special) was also dry and not flavorful.
I don't normally write bad reviews, but with so many new restaurants popping up in Milton & Alpharetta, now is not the time for Milton's to slack on the quality of their food. They'll lose customers quickly. Unfortunately, we won't be going back there anytime soon.
Bill was excellent and very attentive.
First time there and cannot wait to go back! The service, food, drinks and surroundings are suburb. Highly recommend to anyone in the area and YES, it is worth the drive. Can't wait to return for the garden parties in the fall.
Wonderful anniversary dinner. Excellent service with a great waiter. He was friendly, informative, very attentive. The evening was perfect. The chef even made up a personalized menu for us with our names on it. That’s class!!
We had good friends visiting from MD who love local healthy food. We decided to take them to Milton’s and it was a huge hit. Everything was delicious! We sampled 3 appetizers that were all fantastic! We all ended up getting fillet which was also delicious and the side options were so good we tried several and loved them all! Dessert and salad were also unique and delicious! Our waiter was very knowledgeable and friendly and the restaurant has so much charm. We will definitely be going back!
Went to hear Joe Worrel. Perfect weather, great dinner, awesome music, could not have asked for a better night.
College graduation celebration
The best around in Alpharetta area.
We had Milton’s for the first time last night because it was highly recommend by friends. After walking in the door we were greeted by Mike who take care of us start to finish. Mike, GM, and James, our server, didn’t let us leave without a perfect experience. I am shocked at how much time and love went into our table. We LOVED our experience and food. My husband had the trout. I had scallops. You cannot go wrong with anything. If you’re on the fence, you MUST go!!!
A great family get together. The Pimento/Jalapeño cheese dip appetizer was a pleasant surprise to all. The two pasta, two filet, and Scallop dinners were well worth the selections. Would we order the foregoing again? You can bet the farm on it. “10”! Well worth the choice for our family.
Awesome as always! One of our favorite places in Atlanta.
We usually love going to Milton’s for brunch. Never a disappointment. However, this time was such a let down. I left I satisfied and hungry. The food was not worth the calories. Perhaps I just ordered the wrong thing. #dontgetthefrenchtoast
Loved the menu, went to Sunday brunch. Do not live close by and it was my first time there but I'd love to go back. Eggs Benedict with goat cheese and fried green tomatoes, pimento cheese grits..all of it was fantastic!
Great experience at Milton's. First time at this restaurant. We had a 8:30 p.m. Saturday evening reservation. We arrived around 8:10 p.m. and we were seated in less than 5 minutes. Our server was David who was very attentive, knowledgeable and a great sense of humor. I had the Blackened Salmon which was superb and looked exactly like the picture on Open Table (LOL!). My date had a Kansas City T-Bone steak in which he acknowledged was one of the best steaks he every had. We will definitely be back.
Miltons never fails. Despite 4 wedding parties the day we ate our service was excellent and as always, the food was terrific.
Had a great dining experience on the patio with friends.
The wine was amazing. The food was delicious. Great venue for group of 10 or less.
The whole experience was just OK. But not up to my first experience at this restaurant a year or two ago. Despite the fact that the reservation specified a special occasion (my wife's birthday), this was all but ignored by the staff. I finally mentioned the birthday to our waiter, who seemed like a good guy, thinking he just didn't know. His response was an obligatory, "Congratulations." At the end of the dinner we ordered two deserts, which were served with no fanfare or acknowledgment, and we said nothing more. But to our surprised, one desert was comped. Also worth noting that it was pouring rain that evening, but twice the Valet had to be asked to hold his umbrella over my wife going from/to the car. I'm left with the impression of a second tier, complacent staff. Seems like this price point and location warrant better.
What a great restaurant
Food and the staff are fantastic
My first time here. Have heard good things about Milton’s. Loved the food choices on the menu!
Cocktails and dessert were ok. But would definitely go back.
Beautiful outdoor evening with heaters to take the edge off and good live music.
Went to celebrate a birthday, great welcome when we arrived, bar tender was really attentive as were the wait staff. General manager introduced himself to us and told us about the garden on the premises where a lot of their produce comes from. Food was excellent and going back again in 2 weeks with visitors from the UK, they're going to love it. About a 30 minute drive from us but worth it, I can see this might be a regular outing for us.
Food and service was excellent. Will definitely come back and would like to sit outside the next time. Had a wonderful time.
The table behind us were obnoxiously drunk and loud making for a very hard to talk evening
Exec chef came out and introduced himself to the table and had a great conversation! Loved it.
Server enhanced the meal with his information on the food, wine suggestion. he was prompt and attentive.
Fantastic meal and service. David, our server, was great, very helpful with suggestions and over the top service.
I have never had a bad meal at Miltons. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is wonderful, and the food is delicious!
We met friends for dinner and had a great time! Good food and service!
We love Milton’s. One of our favorite restaurants in the ATL area. Fantastic appetizers, cocktails, entrees and desserts. Wonderful atmosphere. Conversation can be challenging in small rooms where there’s only a handful of tables in a very small room. It’s easy to hear everyone else’s conversation and easy to be overheard. A small price to pay for such a fantastic dining experience.
