   Unfortunately, this less than stellar dinner has become more of the norm in our last few experiences. To be fair, this was Thanksgiving dinner and could have been quite hectic and was not. While the service was excellent, the food was only medium. The turducken meatballs were very nice in a yummy potato puree and others liked their butternut soup; so good start! The shrimp and grits is a staple here and others in our group said they were good. The turkey breast was good and moist. The halibut though was very underseasoned. It was accompanied by fingerlings and carrots which were quite hard still. The dessert selections were sweet potato pie and a square of no-crust cheesecake with caramel sauce. Neither were worth more than a bite. To add, our reservation was for 6:00 and we were seated promptly. But as we were close to finishing the meal, the staff opened the back door to clear the patio letting in the 40 degree air making it very uncomfortable. Everyone put on their coats to finish the meal and wait for the check but my poor mom had to run to the car to warm up and wait for the rest of us.

   This is one of my favorite restaurants for lunch or dinner. The food was excellent as is usual from my many experiences there. Cooked exactly right with a creative flair. Loved the baby arugula salad with Brie and fig cornbread. The service was remarkably efficient. The staff worked hard to ensure that everyone had a pleasant experience. The manager came by to say hello and insure that meals were enjoyed. There was a positive vibe between the staff. I quite enjoyed my meal.

   We hasn’t been here for at least 10 years but it was still as good as it was then. We were seated promptly and our food came out in a timely manner. Our steaks were both cooked perfectly, and the Gouda Mac and cheese was so incredibly good. The brussel sprouts also had a good flavor. I am surprised they did not have a bread service but it didn’t affect our dining experience. We’ll definitely be back!

   Celebrating our 36th wedding anniversary. By coincidence, the couple who just finished at our table were also celebrating their 36th. The trout is perfect, and my wife said the fried chicken was perfect. Fiona served us and she was lovely and efficient. Valet was efficient The lady at the entrance was lovely and booked us for dinner in mid December. Milton's is a jewel.

    This was our first time to Milton’s and it was excellent! The deviled eggs & pimento cheese appetizers were fantastic! And don’t let me forget the HOT fresh rosemary bread. DROOL! After we ate all of that, we barely had room for dinner, but we ordered the cauliflower steak and meatloaf. All were excellent. Don’t forget to get a dirty martini or two with blue cheese stuffed olives!!!
