We enjoyed an early dinner today, our first visit to Milton's Restaurant.
started off with Bread and butter, Sweet potato Shrimp fritter, including a signature cocktail. They were an excellent way to start to a wonderful dinner. For entrees My wife chose the blackened Salmon and I selected the Shrimp and Grits. Again both dishes were full of flavor and better than expected. We expected Good, it was a cut above good.
The water did a great job taking care of us.
We will return to try the rest of the menu.
My first time visiting and it was wonderful. Beautiful food presentation.
This was my first time at Miltons and it was such a wonderful experience! Aaron was our server and he was warm, knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. The food was amazing and met all of my expectations!! Will definitely be returning!
It was birthday today
And it was an awesome time
Milton's has always been a family favorite. Out latest visit (June 8) was to celebrate our 47th wedding anniversary. My wife had the trout ... and I had the shrimp and grits. Both were excellent. Delivery of the appetizers and entrees were not quite in synch - the appetizer & salad came-out super fast ... while the entrees took a long time to reach our table. Although a little thing ... it was disappointing to find Milton's no longer includes what used to be a tasty combination of bread to your table. When we asked for the bread - we were told it be an extra charge (treated as an appetizer). Not sure why this was such a shock - but that simple left a negative mark. For what it is worth - we did try to order the bread - but it never came. Nonetheless ... we look forward to our next trip to this very nice restaurant.
It was ok, nothing special. Service was very slow and they were not busy at all. Food was greasy and creme brûlée was more curdled than creamy.
Miltons never disappoints.
Awesome brunch menu delicious $5 bloody Mary’s great atmosphere
Great location and venue. Very loud, service was great. Food was delicious
Very loud, but the food was delicious
It was our first time at Miltons. Everything g was great! We will be back soon!
Everything was perfect but after the live music started it was hard to keep up a conversation
It was, as always, fabulous!!
Our waiter Jeremy was GREAT!
Such an amazing dining experience, we went for our wedding anniversary! The staff was excellent and very attentive. The food was amazing from start t finish and their cocktails wowed. We will be returning!
Milton's has been our favorite restaurant, but things have changed and not for the best. Our meal was mediocre, the service as well, and the patio, which has been wonderful each time we have gone recently, was inundated with flies...not a great experience!
The outdoor dining on a beautiful afternoon with live music was wonderful!
It was great — Alex was our waiter & he was great as well as the food!! We’ve eaten there several times & have never been disappointed!! We’ll be back👍🏻
The food is absolutely delicious here! Service was great!
Great food, great service from Jeremy, great evening out!
Excellent food and service . Amazing anniversary dinner
My daughters college graduation celebration was made even more special with a phenomenal meal!!!
Great experience, service on point and remembered it was a bday celebration
Always a great experience. Food is creative, fresh and expertly prepared. Service was fantastic. Highly recommend this restaurant!
Blackened salmon is delicious
The restaurant was quite busy, but from the valet to the hostess to the server, the service was fast and efficient. My family loves this restaurant, one of our favorites. The meals and drinks never disappoint!
Lovely evening super service and great food
Started the evening with a smoked old fashioned and it was incredible. The pork tenderloin entree was wonderful too. My fav!!!
ALWAYS GREAT FOOD AND PLEASANT HOSTS. GREAT OUTDOOR SEATING.
Food and Music was awesome!
If you’re looking for a bougie place north of the metro Atlanta area that provides a vintage feel, indoor/outdoor seating and a great Sunday brunch, Milton’s is the place to go. The croissant French toast is as tasty as it is unique. The Fisherman omelette is a good value and worth a try. Brownie points to the staff for trimming the roses I brought for my date AND placing them in a water-filled vase (and then neatly wrapping them up for her as we left).
Wonderful food, excellent service, beautiful location!
Milton’s features a “New Southern” style brunch.
I liked the appetizers so much I ordered three for my meal. I started with the Piquillo Pepper Crab Bisque ($8), with blue crab and annatto oil. It was mildly spiced and contained a decent amount of crab. I added the Deviled Farm Eggs ($8), which were blended with horseradish, cracked mustard, and truffle-chive aioli. It was topped with applewood bacon and picked red onion. Horseradish was the dominant spice, but it was not overpowering.
I finished my brunch with the Baby Iceberg Wedges ($8), which had fairly standard ingredients like heirloom garden tomatoes, applewood bacon, julienne radish, and pickled red onion. They mixed it with avocado buttermilk dressing and seasoned it with everything bagel spice. The salad was fresh and flavorful. I also found it light, but filling.
My guests opted for other local favorites. One ordered the Chicken Biscuits and Eggs ($14), which featured a large portion of southern fried chicken covered in andouille red-eye gravy, encased in a very large cathead biscuit. The plate included a nice portion of scrambled farm eggs and Milton’s brunch potatoes. The biscuit itself was soft, and the chicken was crunchy on the outside, but a bit bland on the inside. The scrambled eggs were dry. Additional gravy might have helped the dish.
My second guest ordered the Brunch Style Shrimp and Grits ($15). Milton’s combined diced red and yellow bell peppers, smoked bacon, mushrooms, tomatoes and lemon butter sauce with cheddar stone ground grits. It served a poached egg on the top/side of the dish. It was not overly spicy, but the poached egg was slightly overcooked. The shrimp, on the other hand, were perfectly cooked, and overall it was a satisfactory version of shrimp and grits.
Milton’s has plenty of seating, inside and out, and also provides free valet parking. It opens for brunch at 11 am on Sundays.
Delicious as always!!
Milton’s was excellent in terms of food, atmosphere, even live music! Our only negative point was the experience with the host/hostess in getting our table. We had a reservation at 7:30, and did not get seated until nearly 8:00 - and only because we inquired about a 2-top table that had been empty the entire time we were waiting. Had we not taken that table, no idea how much longer we would have waited. Was very strange and borderline annoying. Apart from that, everything was fantastic
Absolutely one of the more charming places to dine in GA period . Great ambiance unique specials music and fantastic service . A plus . Get the Wagyu
Better than ever! Both meals were delicious. Husband had a filet and sides and I had the sesame crusted trout. Also had the lobster dip as an appetizer which was just good. Outdoor seating was just beautiful.
Milton’s never disappoints. Great drinks, exceptional food, and a comfortable environment. Live music was the icing on the cake.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time and dinner. Thank you for the wonderful atmosphere and great food.
We took friends there for the first time and as always, Milton's never disappointed. Service and food was outstanding. Our friends loved it.
