Three of our party had the filet mignon and one had lamb chops—everything was perfectly prepared and the service was even better!
We have enjoyed going to the Milton Inn twice now. We will continue to come back! The food has been cooked to our satisfaction each time! My husband has gotten the lamb special each time and loves it! The food is not only cooked perfectly but it also tastes great! My favorite dessert is the peanut butter delight! Also feel relaxed and catered to the entire time. When we arrived we were greeted by a couple young ladies who smiled, took our coats and seated us right away. We had Cheryl and she did a great job spacing out the food so nothing overlapped and also never rushed our decisions and answered all the questions we had. Our glasses were always full and table cleared off properly. We had another great experience here!
Excellent food and service
Delicious as always.
Very good service
We always go back for special occasions
Our meals were superb! We started with the cheese plate which was beautifully presented. Our salads (the Fall harvest and Milton) were excellent. I was afraid that the Fall Harvest may be too sweet with the maple dressing, but it was actually perfect on the salad. My friend had the catfish and I had the filet special with a crab cake and both meals were presented beautifully and tasted wonderful. When we return, we may skip the cheese course so we can have dessert! Our waiter was wonderful and the meal was evenly spaced. Excellent experience!
I recently took our daughter, the bride-to-be, and her bridesmaids (to thank them) to the Milton Inn for dinner. The food and service were terrific, as always. The only issue was the Hearth Room was so dark, not even a candle on the table, that no one (even the young people!) could read the menu. We resorted to using the flashlight on our cellphones under the table so as to not bother anyone else. But please..... SOME light, please?
I’ve dined at Milton Inn twice, and have always had a wonderful experience. The staff is friendly and the food is never a disappointment. My parents just recently celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary there just last weekend (I booked the reservation). I called ahead to give my credit card info bc I wanted to surprise them by taking care of their bill. Milton Inn staff did a great job making sure that all went smoothly and my parents instantly fell in love with the place.
Rack of lamb was outstanding. The Triangle while very tasty was not worth the price(filet and lobster tail were ok portions but the veal was gone in 2 bites).
I just love the Milton Inn! I wish I could afford to go there every weekend. However, if I could, would it still seem as special? We celebrated my birthday Friday night in this beautifully restored historical building. I've eaten in several of the many dining areas, but on Friday night, we sat in my favorite room and enjoyed cocktails. Our meals were, as always, amazing! I had the salmon from the menu which was prepared gluten free for me. It was delicious! The skin was crispy and edible - and I ate most of it. My husband indulged in the rack of lamb which was expertly done and quite sharable. I have had that dish before and it is out of this world for those of us who like lamb. The service was impeccible and it was a lovely evening out. I think we will back either for Valentine's Day or my husband's birthday. Excellent place to dine.
Fantastic as always. Quiet and intimate ambience, fantastic and timely service, no rush to clear tables, fantastic food. Pricey, but you get what you pay for.
Service and Food was Excellent. My date and I had a wonderful experience. Our waiter was cordial and well versed. Atmosphere was wonderful. Almost wish it had been colder outside so we could have experienced the fireplace in action.
A lot of people don’t know that Milton Inn offers a small plates, in the lounge. If you don’t ask you won’t get that menu. We loved it because we don’t like to eat a lot and I love to save room for their cheesecake or crème brûlée.
Holiday family lunch.
The food was over priced and average at best.
My desert menu had a food stain on it. I was disappointed.
Food was great! Service exceptional - Osman is awesome!
I adore the Milton Inn so when a friend suggested we have a holiday lunch there, I was thrilled. This was my first time at lunch and the salad choices were fresh and creative. I had an excellent Ceasar with salmon on top. My friend had an omlette that she thoroughly enjoyed. Our server was attentive and made great recommendations. I am excited to be going back for my birthday!
We had a very delicious Christmas lunch! The surf and turf was outstanding! The only thing was the bernaise sauce was omitted from our plates which was a bit of a problem becauour waitress did not come to us and we had to ask another server. Otherwise, it was very nice.
Go to place for our anniversary and other special occasions.
Great service and food. Very special
A wonderful dining experience. The food and service were outstanding.
Very disappointing this time around ~ we sat with dirty salad plates in front of us for an extended period of time. My steak was over cooked,jack-tar potatoes were burndt, crab imperial burndt. We were sitting in the back room ~ no fire! $500.00 bill and it was just okay ~
The food was good. It was full House the day we were there and very noisy. We had trouble hearing each other. Our waitress didn’t have much personality. Barely conversed with us. We had to ask for a box.. she never asked. One of us asked for coffee when she took our drink offer.. the others tea. She brought the tea and no coffee. Finally asking if we could get coffee she mentioned they were brewing some, could have mentioned that when she brought tea.
Excellent food and service. Cozy hunting lodge ambiance. Great for dates, occasions, or a random nice meal out.
Amazing dining experience. Ousmane made an unbelievably delicious meal even better with his impeccable service. We will definitely go back for our next special occasion.
Our server Usman was very attentive and proactive. He moved our table, so we wouldn’t be overwhelmed by the five omen next to us. Because my husband is a diabetic, Usman brought him strawberries with Happy Birtday written in chocolate.
The food, staff, and ambiance at the Milton Inn is always outstanding. We sincerely appreciate the personal service we receive from Nadine.
Superb as usual!!
Nice place, food was ok
The food is always excellent and we are always well taken care of by our attentive and friendly waiters. It is also a beautiful setting.
We tried the small plates this time and absolutely loved it. Each dish was delicious and enough to share. It was great fun to try several specialty items and share with the group next to a warm and cozy fire.
Great service, amazing atmosphere and outstanding food!!
We've been there about 5 times now. Its an excellent restaurant with great service. Good is extraordinary. We both had the steak with crab meat and it was the best. Will definitely go back and would definitely recommend.
I can't imagine how the staff or food could have been better. EJ
Four people went. I will first start with the good and say the trademark special, the rack of lamb, was perfection. The young man who refilled our waters was also the best. The ambiance is a 4/5. Now, on to the bad. Each and every other dish we received was lousy except for the rack of lamb. For example, my husband is from a family of avid hunters and knows his deer. However, the venison did not taste like venison at this restaurant and my filet mignon was tough, and I ordered it medium.
The food here is always delish! Every small plate we had was very good and the presentation was terrific!
Been dining at the Milton Inn for years. Each occasion is always a special one. The staff, chef, food, and ambiance are wonderful.
My wife and I love to go to the Milton Inn for a quiet meal.... Food was great and worth the trip
One of the last old formal Inns left in the Baltimore area. Reminds one of the old John Eager Howard room at The Belvedere in its good days, or Williamsburg Inn CW VA. Excellent venison!
We had another lovely time here at Milton Inn, this time as a birthday dinner for my wife. Very welcoming, attentive and engaging service, delicious food and a cozy setting. Always a delight!
