Excellent place, great food and cheerful staff. Highly recommended
Amazing food. The starters certainly not small! Would definitely go again. Great pre-theatre experience.
Pre theatre date, was very impressed with all aspects. Food and decor incredibly impressive- so close to the theatre. Would return
Exceptional seafood and ambience.
The food took ages to be served
Perfect for what it aims to be but pricey.
Really great food
Very disappointing evening. It took 15min after being seated for someone to come and greet us and offer some water. Menus were left on the table without a word of explanation and another 15min passed for someone to come and take our order. Explanations of the menu would have saved everyone the frustration of ordering three dishes that were not available tonight... then the mezze plate arrived with the usual ridiculously small portion of pitta bread. And the worse was that the small celebration cake the front desk lady promised to organise for my partner whose birthday it was, never made it to the table... we paid 330gbp for 4 including one bottle of gavi, extortionate prices which i would be happy to pay if the service was impeccable. The food was excellent, but the value for money is atrocious. This whole experience left me and my guests very bitter. It seems that this place is full of private bankers on a jolly for whom this amount of money might not mean much - especially if on expenses or paid for by their clients. But if you appreciate good food, don’t have a six digit salary and you value good service, Milos is certainly not for you. A real shame as I had heard good things about it.
Milos is always a good idea! Amazing food, service, atmosphere- always a fantastic experience
Amazing food! One of the best restaurants in London
I had been to the Milos in Montreal a couple of years ago and I felt overall that was a better experience. At the London location the food was good. The fish was delicious. The desert excellent. The Greek salad good, but not spectacular. The Octopus fantastic. The service was a bit fussy. There needs to be a balance between attentive service, and fussy service that can be a bit too intrusive at times.
Overall excellent, my only disappointment was the cost of the wine. I felt it was overpriced at the per glass cost. The markup was too excessive, when compared to similar class restaurants.
You want to ensure a good class of clientele and provide excellent service and experience, but you also don't want to insult the intelligence of your customers.
Much too noisy, but wonderful food and thoughtful service as always
Our first visit to Milos and we were not disappointed. The display of fresh fish was lovely and the steak I had was perfect. All the staff were lovely - very friendly and chatty. It is not cheap but excellent quality. We visited on a Wednesday evening and the restaurant was very busy so booking is a must.
We arrived 30 minutes late for our Saturday evening reservation and in contrast to some other places were welcomed by the Reception team and after a short wait at the bar were given a prime spot table without all the warnings about how long we had the table for etc). Frank, the man who welcomed us, was outstanding in making us feel very much at home and ensuring that we didn't wait too long.
We were guided in our food selection as the menu was a little difficult to follow and we wanted to ensure that we sampled the best of the fresh fish on offer. Panos our server was also outstanding. His choices were without exception delicious and were not things we would naturally have selected ourselves. The raw gropes and mackerel that I had for starters were delicious and beautifully presented. My partner chose the ceviche which was also very good (if less adventurous than my choice).
We shared a large fish for main course (can't remember the name but it too was delicious) and accompanied that with salad and grilled vegetables. The salads and the vegetables were all good portion sizes so it is easy to get full without realising it. It was all washed down with a nice white burgundy.
The restaurant was busy and had a good energy. All in all a great meal leaving us keen to visit again. Thanks again to Panos and Frank.
Wonderful food and price point from a pre theatre menu. Good wines but they’re not cheap by the glass.
Super easy location for local theatres. Would go again.
Good location because near tube station & has pre-theatre menu on Saturday.
Great fish restaurant with a Greek twist. A tad pricey for the a la carte menu but offer other cost effective options. The starters were tasty and the lemon sole was divine, the added doc anniversary dessert was gratefully received. We will be back.
Milos, you are amazing! I love Greek food and I love your restaurants. Fish, seafood, vegetables - everything is so fresh and delicious! Thank you! I couldn’t have asked for more when I visit Milos :-)
Lunch menu is fantastic
Our table was next to the elevator and stairs to the loo . Constantly people passing by with trolleys on their way to the toilets and to the lift .
Food was not as fabulous as it was when we were there before.
Amazing food and service with amazing crowd!
High quality food in an elegant yet relaxed setting. The lunch set menu is great value for money.
It was one of the best places I’ve ever been. Will be back.
Amazing experience here. Franck & Gabor were amazing hosts ! It’s worth the money and food is so good !!! Will be back soon!!!!!! Thanks for this sweet evening.
Amazing value and quality of food for lunch. Not the first time also their waiters are amazing!!
Always wonderful! Great fresh fish ,vegies and salads
We know this restaurant from Montreal and New York and it is ever bit as good in London as elsewhere. Must say they were out of a lot of things Fish wine desert. But what we were able to get was first rate
Disappointing. Been to Milos in NY many times and always great. Last night service poor, fish cold and mushy. Greek fried potatoes were French fries, not what we had in mind.
Fantastic, high-quality food. Priced accordingly...........................
Very overpriced for what you get. Fish is per kg, so you dont know the cost till you get the bill. Paid £300 for a salad, 2 starters, Fish (John Dory) as main with vegetable, 1 mocktail , cocktail and bottle of water. This is not Michelin star but prices in some case are higher.
Amaizing restaurant, delicious food!
Fixed menu at lunch is of the greatest value I personally ever tried
Three-course menu is delicious and good value for money.
This was awful, we booked here pre theatre arrived on time and after an hour waiting and lots of chasing our mains had still not arrived. When they eventually did arrive are sides did not. They arrived just before we got the bill. This we also asked for 3/4 times. We had no time for desert. Someone came over to say sorry and took our fries off the bill. They should have only charged us for the food we ate as in just the starter and main and taken the desert off AND the sides. We ended up so late to the theatre it damped the experience. We got rushed through and no time to get drinks or even some sweets as we missed desert!. In Milo’s itself I’ve never seen so many staff. We almost took pictures of all the white jackets literally standing around in groups doing nothing. When we chased our food 2 of the staff did not even speak enough English to understand us. 1 just forgot and other passed us on to someone else. It’s not cheap in there. I’d say not due to the quality of the food but your paying the salaries of staff to stand around. I used to love it here now would not go back. I don’t mind having a treat expensive meal but to be treated this badly no thank you.
Absolutely love this place, the food is so incredibly fresh and well sourced. The octopus is so delicious - highly recommended. The venue is gorgeous and the staff are very helpful and friendly
Poor service (had to ask several times for the same thing). Wine hugely overpriced, on average 6x retail price vs “normal” 3x in other high end restaurants.
All staff amazing and great service
A special anniversary desert was served
Very highly recommended
Thanks for the experience
Mark Ryan and Martin Kenny
The food is excellent, great quality and super delicious. However, the service must improve: it is not possible that a place like Milos, with such high prices, has a low-quality staff. The sommelier was very rude and inappropriate, suggesting us "cheaper" wines because he thought that we could not want to spend. Also the waitress, the way he served the main course was a disaster.
Amazing expreience. The food is delicious and the staff very friendly. Everything was perfect! Greek wine was so tasty and you have to try the oysters
