Estiatorio Milos by Costas Spiliadis is renowned for its exceptional fish and seafood, its elegance, sophistication and its refined approach to the Grecian culinary experience. Through 35 years of intensive research, Milos has managed to build lasting relationships with growers, producers and small-scale family fisheries in the Mediterannean islands and the shores of Greece, from where the fresh fish arrives in daily. An open kitchen is offset by a fish market display providing diners with a stunning selection of more than a dozen varieties of whole fresh fish served by the pound. While they vary with the changing of the tides, guests have the opportunity to engage in their dining experience - pick it, price it and make it theirs.

Food was ok but we had to wait an hour for our table despite having a reservation. Poor service.

I would say average food. Good service but way to expensive relative to the experience and the menu selection.
Overall I was not impressed.

Very good quality food and super fresh fish.
BUT :
Service a bit too fast at the end to remove the dessert we were still working on.
Extremly rude attitude of the staff looking at our receipt making sure we put the tip before leaving.
Still a bit expensive beside very good quality of the food.

We celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary here. My husband and I have grown up here in South Florida and are avid fishermen. I was completely shocked they charged me $170.00 for a 3 pound Mediterranean Flounder. Flounder is a local fish and certainly did not taste any different coming from the Mediterranean. This place was ridiculously over priced and we were not impressed at all. The crab cakes we sent back twice because they were over salted. The Greek salad was $29.00 for a bowl of tomatoes. The only thing I can say was spectacular was the homemade baklava ice cream, other than that this place is horrible.

The most disturbing issue for us was that nobody uses gloves when handling the seafood. We watched children, employees and patrons freely touching the ice and seafood without gloves GROSS!!!

This company truly needs to rethink how they handle the fish they are up charging over 5% Mark Up just to fly this fish from the Mediterranean. Instead they should be promoting the local fish here where the reaturant is located. My husband and I fish these waters our entire life and we feel we cook far better then the chefs at Milos.

What a HUGH DISAPPOINTMENT TO OUR TASTE BUDS AND WALLET.

This was our first dinner at Milos. The appetizers were delicious -we had the grilled octopus and the mushroom platter. We were disappointed however in the lamb chops. They were just ok and not worth the hefty price tag. The ambiance of the restaurant is definitely hip, and trendy. The noise level was high though and it was difficult for us to converse without yelling. The wait staff was efficient but not particularly friendly. A mixed experience.

The seafood was excellent and the chicken souvlaki was one of the best we had, and we are Greek! Feta cheese in the salad was extremely good. The staff was very attentive and we thoroughly enjoyed our lunch experience. We were seated next to the window and were amazed by all the beautiful cars that pulled up to the valet, it's like having a private car show!

I took my sister Milos for her birthday. Service was excellent, attentive and helpful... even kind when my
Sister got bag heart burn, a waiter brought her
Milk and then came back to check on her. Food was fresh, and delicious. I will we could get a grilled fish that was less than 4 lbs ... may be 3-3.5 as it was too large for us and very expensive but otherwise loved the meal.

Milo’s is my FAVORITE spot in all Miami! Kelly and her entire staff take care of everyone in the most professional way. There’s no decision to make when my husband says ‘where do you want to go tonite!!’ The answer is always Milo’s!

Probably the best restaurant I've been to in Miami. Food is frightfully expensive but it is superb, as is the service. You need to go and just enjoy, rather than thinking about how many McDonald hamburgers you could buy for that money. The Greek yogurt is not to be missed for dessert. If you can afford it, just go.

Loved the relaxed and yet a bit sophisticated setting (casual chic of dining). The service was impeccable. However, I found the valet service a bit pricey since it was being offered by the restaurant ($15) and the car was parked right in front of the restaurant. Other than that, the service was excellent.

The freshness of the food can't be explained, only experienced... Presentation was amazing also. If you are doing seafood, you can pick out your fish and they will prepare that very fish for you, in many variations. We had one done sashimi-style, with a hint of olive oil, lemon and thyme, oh my... Succulent shrimp, tender grilled octopus, and salt-baked branzino were also a hit. Will definitely be back, once we are able to re-mortgage our home (just kidding!)

Very disappointed.

The service was great other than we were told the owner did not allow us to use butter to consume our $235 Lobster or Ketchup for our "fries". I would not have ordered the Lobster if I had known the owner refused to allow his customers to consume their food the way they wanted. We did not ask for Salt and Pepper as we did not want to offend the owner if he did not approve of that.

The food did not live up to the hype...... we expected much more....it was average at best.

We should have bought a $300 bottle of wine and eaten elsewhere.

Will not go to this restaurant again.

I have been to Milos in New York, London and several times in Miami, however, this was the worst experience. We arrived on time and had to wait 30 minutes at the bar for our table to be ready. When we sat down there was no white wine available by glass and they were out of lobster which is their signature dish. The service was very slow and the food was poor. As my main I ordered scallops which were very small and I was still hungry after the meal. My boyfriend was feeling sick all evening and I felt terrible because I was the one to suggest going to Milos because all the other restaurants I have been to are usually exceptional! It was a terrible dinner with a bill over 400 dollars which was absolutely not worth it. I have never been so disappointed in the Milos group restaurants and wouldn’t go back to the Miami one again.

We go to Milos every year when we visit South Beach. They are consistent in service and food. We were there on 3/31/2018 and the octopus and the lobster pasta were to die for. We particularly love the tomato salad and recommend everyone to order it.
