About Milos By Costas Spiliadis-Miami
Estiatorio Milos by Costas Spiliadis is renowned for its exceptional fish and seafood, its elegance, sophistication and its refined approach to the Grecian culinary experience. Through 35 years of intensive research, Milos has managed to build lasting relationships with growers, producers and small-scale family fisheries in the Mediterannean islands and the shores of Greece, from where the fresh fish arrives in daily. An open kitchen is offset by a fish market display providing diners with a stunning selection of more than a dozen varieties of whole fresh fish served by the pound. While they vary with the changing of the tides, guests have the opportunity to engage in their dining experience - pick it, price it and make it theirs.

Milos By Costas Spiliadis-Miami Ratings and Reviews
The place is nice the service was good. The food is way way over priced. I travel for work and eat at all the best restaurant across the world not just the United States. The prices are way over prices for the amount of food they give you. 1 had 3 shrimp $105. We order fish that weighed 2.6 ounces it was &237 for two people. I have no problem spending money. It’s just the nerve they have to serve so little and charge so much. Save your $$$ there a lot better places.
WOW! What an unexpected culinary treat! We were 5 out-of-towners celebrating a milestone birthday for one guest. I think everyone in our party left this restaurant with nothing but amazing things to say.
Hands down the best octopus dish I have ever eaten, anywhere. We also enjoyed a freshly grilled red snapper that came in a close second to the octopus. One dish is just as good as the next -- you really can't go wrong. If you're in Miami and looking for the best restaurant around -- you just found it!
I spent three weeks in Greece in 1995 and this is the best Greek food I have had since that time. My husband and I who are from Boston, were staying in Miami after a trip to Cuba and we wanted something nice for our last night of vacation. We had a Greek salad and the octupus starter, the lamb and a fish special for our main dishes, and yogurt and baklava for dessert. The best yogurt I have EVER had and it has inspired me to try to make my own. It tastes like cheesecake although much healthier. We sat at the bar and the service was attentive yet not overbearing. If I were to make one suggestion, it would be to adjust the choices of wines by the glass. I had one glass of white and another of red. I tasted a couple of each prior to ordering and really didn't care for any of them. Perhaps it was just my pallet that day but I usually don't have a problem finding a glass of wine to enjoy.
We had a great experience at Milos on Friday. The food was very fresh, delicious, and the presentation was beautiful. In addition, the service was excellent. Our waiter and the manager were very attentive. I highly recommend this restaurant for lunch and dinner.
So there are only 2 minor complaints because this place is 5 Star ... The wine list is seriously slanted towards Greece which if you like Pinesol or a mineral finish on your palate it’s great.... No French rosè, zero Sauvignon Blancs from New Zealand and only 2 Sancerres. People should have options, with great food especially if you are accustomed to nice wines, next the place is freezing ... the food is fantastic, staff helpful and impeccably dressed. They’re a little slick in the pita bread Dept offering 2 little pieces with 3 mezze dips knowing you have to order more which is not complimentary Anyway all else is great as they have $23:99 lunch 7 days a week !!!!
Milos never disappoints. Can’t beat the extended Miami Spice menu. Three wonderful courses for $39. I had the grilled octopus, dorado and baklava. Perfect. This menu is similar to the one they have for lunch , early dinner and all day Sunday.
The restaurant is elegant and the service is attentive. The quality of the preparation seems never to change. Always a treat.
This is a Greek restaurant that had the best fresh seafood prepared in Greek style that was absolutely fabulous! We had the grilled Octopus which was the best I have ever had! The drinks were expertly prepared and the wine parings with our meal were spot on!
The staff were well informed, customer centric, and seemed to be part of one large family...
If you love great food, fresh seafood, you have to try this place....they have something for everyone's taste!
Unfortunately the food was not up to the usual Milos’s standards. Tuna tartare & crab cake were barely edible. Saganaki stale. Tomatoes in Greek salad looked great but did not taste as great. Octopus not seasoned properly. Fish was tasty but not grilled as well as in nyc or Vegas.
I’m happy to pay their prices as long as I get the true Milos experience. Unfortunately tonight was very mediocre. If next time is like tonight, I’ll never go back.
The welcome and service at Milos is professional but neither warm or especially friendly. What is outstanding is the seafood. Priced at the top of the market, it's worth it because it is tops in taste, freshness and variety. The preparation ranges from simple to complex, but always excellent.
