Smoked Ranch Dusted Point Judith Calamari

Portuguese Bread Pudding
with Madeira Caramel, Currants and Chantilly Cream
Something for everyone with some interesting and tasty twists. Hard to find a fancy dessert these days but had one here! ( Was a little disappointed in the the tofu/ zucchini entre- sauce could have used more flavor and it might have been better offered as an app, though I appreciated the non meat option)
As always an amazing experience!
It was restaurant week so we decided to try it out. The special menu looked good and the food was all very flavorful. Noise level was lower than many restaurants even though it was pretty busy. Tables were spaced out pretty well.
I went for restaurant week and the food and service was fantastic and I got a 50% off bottle of wine. Really enjoyed and I will be back soon
Such an awesome time. Champagne waiting at table for our Anniversary dinner. Phil was a perfect waiter. Couldn’t have been better. Thank you Mills Tavern!
Service staff and food were excellent. Food was inventive and creative.
Excellent service, amazing food.
Everything was great except the piped in music. Way TOO loud. This restaurant is noisy to start, add a loud sound system and conversing at the table is diffract best.
Great food and great service!
The food was excellent and the atmosphere was quiet and pleasing.
We came here during Restaurant Week, turns out they do a prefix menu all year long. Food was good, service was great! Would definitely go back!
We had a 7pm reservation for 3 people we sat right away but we weren't offered water for over a half hour. That should have been a big indication of the night to come. We didn't get appetizers until 8:45 and dinner at 9:30. We weren't checked on at all in between those times to ask if we wanted more to drink or anything. I was extremely disappointed with the service and I will not be returning. The food was good but not worth the poor service.
A great place for a special occasion or special date. Excellent food. Nice bar.
The food was delicious, service great, and seated near the window as requested.
We went during Summer Restaurant week, so we not only got wonderful food, but also a 50% discount on a bottle of wine. Great staff and overall an excellent experience!
Wonderful times food was amazing!!
Excellent food, service, and atmosphere. Will definitely return.
Food was delicious, beautifully presented, service staff very good, only issue was speed food came out of the kitchen. We were there 2
1/2 hours for three courses. Many who came after us left before us.
Food and service was amazing. Overall a great experience!
We had the Tomahawk Prime Rib Eye for two with the fixed priced meal and and it was terrific. The service was excellent.
Good experience and friendly staff. The service was perfect and presentation was well done.
Waiter was kind & helpful with wine choices and the steak was out of this world.
Food was delicious! Service was good but very slow
Service was great and food was exceptional!!
The service was outstanding in every way, and the food superb. We ate outdoors which turned out to be very loud because of traffic on North Main, but that can't be helped. Wonderful evening.
phil was our server and he was knowledgable, unobtrusive and genial.
One of our all time favorite restaurants in Providence!
Wonderful food but VERY expensive. Sat at bar which was a mistake - poor service from bartender and so-so scene. Never rcvd silverware, napkin, etc until specifically asked for. No rolls, etc although others had both and a place mat which we did not ever have. Place seems an old retreat that has and will continue to lose it's luster. Will not endeavor to return.
Great steaks and other dishes. The scallops were a bit small and salty. Would go back again even though it is not cheap. Steaks were $50+ without sides.
Server was overly perky and was slow. No water refill until i asked. Never asked how meals were. Took forever to ask if we were finished/want dessert or check. Once check given took more time to get it and bring back. Restaurant is over rated. Food no better than other RI restaurants and a lot more expensive Small piece of swordfish with some lettuce - everything ala cart. Won’t go back.
The food was incredible. I am definitely bringing my boyfriend and his family back there again for my birthday next month. We didn’t order drinks but we spent over $200 and we had to wait to have our non alcoholic drinks filled throughout the evening. It was the only sore spot of an otherwise great dining experience.
Atmosphere was great beautiful restaurant but just not worth the price we paid for the meal and it wasn’t hard to get reservations and it wasn’t that busy in there so I see why now.
Was the best day place to celebrate my Birthday this year. Mill’s Tavern is a special occasion restaurant. When friends and family come together this is the to go place. My Parents truly Love it
I get the ribeye every time, never disappoints, very consistent with the way its prepared and served. All-around one of my favorite go-to spots in PVD. Service is excellent. Desserts never disappoint. Cocktails are underrated and are some of the best the city has to offer.
I love Mills Tavern. It is my go-to place and I eat there at least once per month. In my last visit, the prix fix menu (on a Tuesday) was 2/3 sold out by 7:30pm. So I had to spend twice as much. That was disappointing. My rib eye (ordered a medium) was overcooked and salty. Staff is always great, hosts were welcoming, calamari was amazing. Post pandemic, the place was packed but there was plenty of room at the bar. My reservation was on time. Overall a great place.
It took an hour for our salads to arrive. Kitchen was backed up.
Excellent rebound from pandemic. Love to see providence staple restaurants like this continuing to succeed! Service was excellent as always.
My husband and I chose Mill’s for our first dining experience since the pandemic began. Food was great! They had fois gras, my favorite, as an appetizer special. Rack of lamb, delicious. Bartender was attentive and made a killer cosmo. Will go back for sure.
Very good service and wonderful staff and food. Definitely will recommend
Enjoyed the swordfish and salmon dishes - also, almond cake was divine!
