Interesting room, and nice and quiet despite nearly a full house of well-dressed Saturday evening crowd. Both my date and I agreed, one of the best evenings out for dinner in many months. Mill’s Tavern is in a beautiful building. Our waitress was polite, helpful and personable. We had the calamari and flatbread for appetizers. Both were very good. The calamari was cooked perfectly. We ordered the strip steak, 2 rabbit dishes and the eggplant. It took 50 minutes for our entrees to come. Not sure why it took that long. The table of 6 next to us that came in after us had their appetizers and main meals before we had our main meals. We arrived at 5:50, ordered the main meals at 6:30 and our meals came at 7:20. The steak and rabbit dishes were delicious. However, we did not care for the eggplant dish. Mills is worth going especially for the steak but we were disappointed with the long wait.

We had a great dinner and experience with our server Phil who was very personable and attentive. We got the tartar which was perfect and the filet and wagyu strip were even better. Can’t wait to come back for more mac n cheese and the maple mousse dessert

Mill Tavern has an excellent ambiance, great service, fantastic food, and is a wonderful place for a quiet dinner for two or a celebration. The restaurant is classy and has a NYC fine dining vibe to it. Our waitress, Allison, is the best -- personable, efficient, and goes the extra mile -- as does hostess Kerri. Been here for 2 special celebrations and several small dinners and everything was so well done. The steaks, appetizers, and salads are outstanding.

This was perhaps my third visit to Mill's Tavern, and first one with a date. It was superb again. Best steaks in town. Better than The Capital Grille and better than Fleming's. Very good wine, and though we passed on it last evening, their creme brulée isoutstantding, and large enough for two. Absolutely great service as well.

We were celebrating an anniversary! Our reservation was at 5:30 on a Sunday evening. Our dinner was excellent! Our server, Brian, was outstanding... one of the best waiters that we ever had! He was very professional, pleasant and attentive without being intrusive like some waiters we’ve had before at other restaurants. Our dessert came out with a candle and sugar sign that said; Happy Anniversary”! There was also a note and curly ribbon on the table, for our special occasion! This wasn’t our first time at Mill’s Tavern and it wont be our last!

I’ve never been to Mills before… so nothing to compare to but it was extremely busy, loud… service was very slow, to slow, drinks were great, apps were amazing… there were 6 of us 3 of the entrees were great3 were not!!! Very disappointed!! I had lamb, overcooked, mostly fat, steak not as ordered and my husband’s duck was tasty but overcooked also. I know it was last night of waterfire so it was very very busy but I have to say I was disappointed… I might consider trying it again on not so busy night… but prices were $$$$$ so ????? Server was good but very busy… :(

This is a go to but last night was not the best experience. Food was cold. Service was not what we are used to and almost every time you moved your fork away from your dish someone was there to try and pick it up. Even when dish was still only half eaten. Something was not right for sure. It’s not typical for this restaurant. So we will try again. Maybe bad night. Food was still tasty. Waiter was very pleasant.

Beware of the valet service! The food was fantastic, but the valet service damaged the front passenger wheel on my car. I have left multiple messages with the valet service and restaurant but no response. Truly disappointing.

had never dined at this restaurant before was meeting at the door with professionalism and cheer we were seated almost immediately and attended to the same our server was fabulous the appetizers and the meal was amazing. I travel a lot for business, and this was a business dinner with some of our customers and they were amazed at the service in the food as well. it is refreshing to still have high quality non-national account dining experiences like this
