Located in the Historic Hotel Max Miller’s Guild is built around a 9 foot long, custom made wood-fired grill. James Beard Award Winning Chef Jason Wilson has crafted a menu featuring seventy five-day dry-aged beef, nose to tail butchery, and rustic baked goods that highlights the unique flavors from the grill. Carrying on the theme, Miller’s Guild also features craft cocktails made with spirits finished in oak casks suspended above the bar. The wine list will feature carefully crafted wines from the Pacific Northwest and beyond that represent excellent value across all price ranges.

                                                  Miller's guild has small plates big enough to share, and large plates designed to fill you up. The flavor, presentation, and quantity are all very satisfying. I went for the first time during Seattle Restaurant Week, and plan on coming back again!

                                                  The food was good. My friends enjoyed the steak and pork chop I was disappointed in the scallop. Service was inattentive and slow. When we left the host asked about our experience. I said. “It was just ok”. He said. “Thanks for coming!”

                                                  The brussel sprouts and carrots appetizers were incredible! My mushroom pasta was quite bland. I'd recommend vegetarians to stick to the delicious small plates. HH is only in the bar, and the bar has minimal seating, so get there early to snag a spot. They have the auto 20% gratuity so service is okay. Expect to pay at least $80/person.

                                                  We had heard of this place before and were curious to try it out. After someone downtown shopping we made our way over and snuck in on one of the last reservations. Ambience was great, light was perfect, and service was above average. Enjoyed the Fillet and Steelhead between two of us, which were both very good. Wine by the glass was a little pricey at average ~$16. Would recommend for sure.

                                                  Great steaks, good wine and lovely dessert. Went for my birthday. Server was awesome, very helpful, great suggestions. Octopus appetizer was a nice surprise. We shared a 32 ou rib eye cooked perfectly medium rare. Side dishes were mashed potatoes and cooked spinach. Lovely bread pudding for dessert. Great birthday dinner.

                                                  We had a mixed experience at Miller's Guild. The restaurant has a lovely, cozy atmosphere. The service was very good. We arrived ahead of our friends and the bartender was attentive and helpful is creating a seat for us while we waited. The host pitched in to help the busy bartender get drinks ordered and served. A great customer service experience. However the food was just good and over priced. I don't mind splurging if the food is excellent and portioned well. None of us felt that is was a place we would head back to for dinner. However, it is a great spot for a drink in the bar.

                                                  Very good food. Know and care about my server. However, as much as I really appreciate the automatically added on tip, And appreciate how much it helps the back of the house employees, do feel like it affects service. Had to repeatedly ask for things like refilling my class, etc. It was not that busy. So...Not sure if my server had a bad day, Or was just chilling because he already knew he had 20% coming.

                                                  The best food we just had on our Seattle trip. We sat at the counter which was so fun to be able to see the chefs cooking the meat (and nice and toasty on a cold Seattle day). I know you come here for the delicious cut of animal, and you should - they’re cooked to perfection - but if you order nothing else, get the carrots! They were amazing! We had a great night and will certainly come back for more the next time we’re in town.

                                                  Went here for brunch on the weekend with friends. A very cozy and relaxing environment. I had their ham eggs benedict and it was delicious! The baby potatoes were well seasoned and not at all overcooked.

                                                  This was my second time at Miller's Guild. The first time I was not impressed but decided to give it another try. I didn't care for the ambiance. One end of the booth I sat in was where they stored wood and I was afraid it was going to snag my sweater. I do like the open grill and watching the steaks cook but it can get somewhat warm. I ordered fried mushrooms and a filet mignon. I wanted to have one of their aged steaks but it their smallest available was too big for two people so I did the filet instead. I ordered my steak medium but I should have asked what that was like for them because it came out more done than I expected from a steakhouse. The char on the outside also made it slightly bitter. I did enjoy the mashed potatoes, very fluffy and buttery and it was nice that we didn't have to buy sides separately. Overall nothing was terrible but nothing was amazing either. Maybe some more steak options and more attention to how they're cooked would make me want to come back.

                                                  Prices seem to have doubled! I have been to Miller’s Guild several times, and it used to be my favorite steak restaurant in Seattle. However, I haven’t been in a couple of years, and boy was I shocked at how much prices have increased. The steak and the wine are half again over what they used to be. The restaurant went from being pricey-but-worth-it to overpriced-and-not-worth-it, especially considering the lack of ambience and noise level that forces you to shout at your companions.

                                                  I thought I give MG one more try...it seems each dinner gets sadder. Christmas Eve dinner was a disappointment with some of the family style servings barely enough for a child...i.e. The appetizers only had 1 small piece of sausage and salami per person and a beet humus which appeared to be served with a dried out slice of bread which crumbled with the first bite...the picketed vegetables allowed each guest to pick the 1 piece they could try, so if you wanted to try the cauliflower you'd have to pass on the peppers. My intent is not to be a glutton , but I do enjoy sampling different offerings... I give up

                                                  My reservation was 12/22 through opentable. Requested well lit quiet area and it wasnt possible, so asked to be shown my reserved table.... surprise: no table! Would I like to sit at a bar facing the kitchen to eat shared by other folks...... ? Not really no, I made the reservation on openTABLE - yes TABLE - and when I arrive then I find there is not one. My evening was salvaged by walking out and reserving elsewhere, where the restaurant honors its reservations.

                                                  We reserved for 3 at the chef's counter, the server was not warned in advance. Carrots were inconsistent, some rather raw. Wedge salad with butter lettuce was soft and a little dull. Tomahawk steak was just good, but expecting something more. Tiramisu has some inedible hard pieces of coffee bean? A really fun space but I had dreams of an epic dinner to remember and ended up a bit disappointed.

                                                  I made a reservation for my son and I to meet for brunch/lunch on a busy weekend when we both had lots of plans. At the last minute, my vegan daughter joined us as well as a friend who was celebrating a birthday. The kitchen prepared an excellent vegan hash for my daughter and my eggs benedict was amazing. Our table was happy and we weren't hungry for a long time!!
