Seated quickly with no wait. Food was excellent!
32nd wedding anniversary dinner
Love the history and Christmas holiday decorations but The food and service were below average, especially considering the hefty $65PP charge. A shame if only had better oversight
Nice place. Menu was misleading compared to what was online. New Year's Eve Menu Prix Fixe menu did not show the entree prices anywhere. Online it said $29. Turned out to be $79.95. Quite a difference. Granted, $29 is cheap, but how about updating your menu prices online before springing an extra $100 on a table for two ?
A wonderful holiday meal. Good comforting meals, excellent cinnamon bread at the table. So very charming during the holidays. Service was just a bit inattentive toward end of the meal.
It is decorated beautifully for Christmas. Service was quick and efficient and friendly. Food was very good!
Amazing food and great wait staff. Enjoyed the food and drinks and had a wonderful time.
It was OK. Food was decent but overpriced.
Parking - with all of the holiday stuff going on - was horrible. Parking spots are not clearly marked and people were just parking everywhere.
Beautiful Christmas decorations and holiday fare
Caroller’s sang , service was somewhat on slow side. It restaurant was very busy and I’m sure they were short staffed due to covid Food was very good sauerbraten and steak cooked to perfection.
Great place to visit during the holidays! This was our first time visiting The Milleridge Inn. We loved everything! The restaurant is like a Christmas wonderland. We felt like we were in a Christmas Hallmark movie. Loved the carollers that came to our table and sang our favorite Christmas song. The fireplace is so quaint and rustic. Food and service was excellent including the delicious cinnamon bread, pot roast and peppermint ice-cream. We walked in the village after and viewed the beautiful Christmas lights and stopped in the shops and had a chocolate brownie cookie in the bakery. We will be making this a yearly tradition going forward! Thank you Millleridge Inn!
My husband and I got married at the Milleridge Cottage 37 years ago on 12/29/84 and we go to dinner there every year on our anniversary. We have missed just a few
Horrible. Food was terrible and that's a compliment. It was packed. Tables way too close and people coughing. I will never go back.
Nice holiday decorations, but the food was meh and the coffee, poor. It’s a shame to see a landmark restaurant going downhill. The outside shops have become very kitschy.
Service was so slow. Took about 20 minutes until a waiter came over to take our drink order. Also took a long time to take our lunch order. He never came over to see if we needed anything. Brought our desserts without even asking if we wanted coffee.
Food was not good ,in times of pandemic people were very closely seated ,less servers were there to serve food
I’m very disappointed that my two kids were 40$ each and there were no kid-friendly options at the buffet. One of my daughters had a 40$ stale bagel for dinner, the other had fruit and veggies from the salad bar. The audacity to charge me for two lemonades- even the dessert bar wasn’t kid friendly. Just pie! 188$ for three people! If you don’t want kids at your restaurant- don’t have bouncy houses and a train ride!
Terrific holiday dinner buffet and ambiance. Very attentive wait service throughout the meal and regular refilling of buffet with lobster and crab legs included. Gorgeous holiday decor as always. Milleridge never disappoints over the years. The village has been improved also with lots of new additions. A historic community treasure.
Everything was excellent but there was no I fixation in either Open Tabke or The Milleridge’s website that it was buffet only. We expected to order from the menu. Had we known, we would not have gone there today.
First of all the girl at the hostess stand was Literally yelling at people about wearing a mask, fine let’s move on.So We sat down the girl took her order for a drink my son didn’t want something to drink my niece ordered a soda I ordered a bloody Mary OK fine we went to go get our food we came back my son did not like any of the food as my fact he got sick at one point in time I need to order another soda which we were charged for mean while my son didn’t get a soda so as a common courtesy we should not have been charged for we asked for water five times OK literally five times never got the water. So then asked for the check our server took so long we ended up paying cash and leaving.Don’t worry we Won’t be back.
First time here. Came the day after Christmas for the buffet. It was lovely!
No chicken choices or fish on the sandwiches, need something besides beef burgers, like turkey or veggies no egg nog in restaurant even though it was on website
Our server left empty dirty dishes and glasses on the table for the entire 3 course meal.
Our waitress was absolutely amazing. The Christmas Caroling was excellent. Food was outstanding!! Always a great time at the Millridge Inn
Beautiful ambiance however there is very little diversity, if any. It was quite uncomfortable being stared at and ignored for most of the time we spent there. The carolers never came over but they went to every other table around us. We waited to avail and for 1.5 hrs... nothing. Our waiter barely spoke to us. He took our orders in passing and that was it. He also mixed up our checks and then caused us to spend more than we spent.
The only great part of our visit was the Village and even there we received blatant stares of 'Why are we there'? So we took a few pictures and left. I doubt we will go back but it was a beautifully decorated village.
FYI, don't order the shrimp cocktail. It was cooked and very rubbery and very small. The calamari was wonderful once we asked for the sauce it came with since they never brought it with the food. The duck was good along with the sauce however the chicken was a little tough. There wasnt any glaze or gravy to make the tase less bland. We got dessert in the Village because the stares and pointing were too much at one point.
I didn't realize how badly I could feel after leaving a place that looked amazing. Never again.
Went for the ambiance and that didn’t disappoint BUT food was average service average and for what I thought an expensive meal was very disappointed … sad as I worked there years back .. so expected more
Food was good. Good value and everything was delicious!
38 years celebrating at the Milleridge Inn!
The room was over filled with tables on top of each other- the food servers came out and put food on the table with out clearing other plates first. I asked for two salad plates and were given two saucers. Food was served and the server was gone in a hot minute. We got cold food - I ordered the duck - it was cold dry and missing the Lingonberry sauce. I ordered a cup of tea at the end and was served 1/2 cup of lukewarm water with the teabag in it. Again food put down and the server was gone. No asking if everything was ok etc. $350.00 for a party of 4 and it was the worst meal and service I ever experienced.
A holiday tradition….it was awful. Understandably no Carolers as in prior years due to Covid, but not stated beforehand. The service was horrific, it was too crowded (Covid) and the food was bordering inedible and horrible.
Terrible experience. Left hungry to visit shops which say 9 pm close…however, they close at 8…never walked in.
We will NOT be going back.
Food was awful. Christmas ambience was great. Would not go back.
Not the Milleride that I remember. Menu was just ok, nothing special
Go every year for Christmas. Food was terrible and had a hair in my food.
Over crowded and understaffed . Our before drinks came out a few minutes before our Luke warm dinner. Manager was suppose to come over to speak to us, never did . We waiting over an hour for dinner and cocktails. That last part was ridiculous
Food was Luke warm and my husbands short rib dinner was questionable if the meat was short ribs. My recommendation is don’t go so close to the holiday even if you have a reservation!
First bad experience I’ve had there in many years.
Wonderful food and very festive Christmas liek atmosphere. ALso, the service is great and runs very smoothly.
Love the restaurant
As always the millridge inn is beautifully decorated for the holidays. The service is excellent the food is medioacre at best and overpriced.
They were out of the wine I wanted and also the desert and I felt the food was way overpriced for the value Aviance very nice
It was disappointing no popovers Vic supposedly Covid causes everything just disappointing
Excellent food and ambiance. Beautifully decorated. Extremely noisy though.
Went there for the festive Christmas ambiance and the carolers, and everything was terrific! We had the best table (133) and the best waiter. And the decor and the service and the carolers were amazing, thank you! We love the Milleridge Inn!
